I once adored the professional friendly great service from this pharmacy
However since Juni has left i have had several communication issues with the Manager/pharmacist called Joanna
The otger people whom work their are lovely, professional, friendly and supportive.
Their once efficient free dosette and delivery service has had some minor problems however i commend the lovely young man who delivers the medication qho is both polite and professiinal.

I will still stay with the pharmacy however i hope to stop all communication with the manager whom today hung up on me without giving me the opportunity to order necessary medication.
I write this with full regret on how one person can alter the overall image of this once extremely friendly and supportive part of our wonderful community.
The new pharmacist JOHN is a fantastic improvement to the Lakes boulevard pharmacy
He is very professional and is quite knowledgeable regarding the use of medications and their side effects.
It's wonderful to have faith again in your necessary member of your health team

Although there is now a charge for preparing the dosette boxes.

The reception that take appointments are so unreliable. I booked a day before to see a female doctor, I went for my appointment 30 mins ahead of my appointment time, was for over an hour and I was assigned a male doctor and the male doctor was very nice but I needed a gynae assessment but I told him I specifically asked for a female doctor so he told me there were female doctors that can see me. He escorted me to reception. I asked who made my appointment yesterday, they wouldn't tell me. I was told to was told to wait again. I couldn't, I walked away. Not very happy with admin. I wouldn't recommend making appointments. I would rather walk in and see whatever doctor is available. Very disappointing.

They don't care about their Patients at all.
Receptionists are rude and unhelpful.
Pathologists are not accommodating or helpful. Disappointing and Disgusting!

Doctors have been great, reception staff the same. However, the pharmacy absolutely not. Overpriced for any medication, and the pharmacist always needs to put their opinion in about the meds you’re getting without any sort of context. Doctor & hospital completely aware what medication I’m on, how often I take it and the reason, but the pharmacist thought it was a good idea to make point of filling another pain relief script so soon in front of other customers regardless of knowing the circumstances. Way to make someone suffer even more than they already are. Even worse that it was said to a family member who had gone to get it for me because I was in to much pain to move. Take your script and money elsewhere.

Most Doctor's are great, just the pharmacy not so good, don't get webster pack from them, they can charge you extra money say your meds ran out when they should not off ran out, especially if you have qty of 30 in a box and take one a day then they say you ran out 2 weeks later? And have to pay for more? How is that possible? Run out in 14 days and there supposed to be 30 in a box so where's the other half? If I was taking 2 a day that a different story then yeah 2 week pay for more, but I was only taking 1 a day. It's one foreign head pharmacist lady that does it. She should be fired

Doctors are always running late. Even if I have first appointment of the day booked it doesn’t matter because they’re often 20-30 minutes late anyway. Reception are sneaky because they have an imaginary queue that doesn’t budge, but you’ll go from 5th in line to 1st when the doctor finally arrives. And god forbid you come late to the appointment.

My infant son was experiencing difficulty breathing and my wife desperately called to see if anyone could check him. There was no sympathy from reception, who simply told her that there were no appointments available. No help as to where else to go or who to call.

Nowadays with the long call introduction, I am often waiting 5-15 minutes on the phone before speaking to anyone. And 4 times out 5 I end up getting hung up on after a long wait, do receptionists just not know how to answer the phones? They say to call in if sick and wait in the car, so I have to call while driving because I know I’m going to be waiting a long time. One time I was waiting 12 minutes on the phone, I asked my wife to call too in case she got through sooner. And what do you know, after 2 minutes she got through before me. It’s a joke. They clearly no system for answering based on a first come basis.

It’s also ridiculous how quickly the good doctors are being booked out. As if I need to plan when I’m sick and need an appointment a week ahead?

Called Doc, to have my 11th month child seen because we think she might have suspected croupe, and Doc rejected us because they think she has Covid, yet my 11th month old has just been recently tested for Covid and is Negative.
I will never ever recommend this clinic to anyone due there disrespect and shunning us away from this clinic
If you have a sick child do not even consider going there

This clinic is amazing and so are the doctors. I highly recommend Dr Lawrence Lo, who has given my quality of life back! The wait is worth it. (I also recommend Dr ZAR who has been such a fantastic support when Dr Lo isn’t available, you both rock!) I had a family GP of 20 years who couldn’t find the issue to my ongoing 24/7 headaches and other symptoms. Yet, attended this clinic and they were able to find the problem, get me off to the best specialists, get surgery (brain) and support me whilst I had and have to attend NSW on a regular basis. There was minimal aftercare from my brain surgery as I went out of state and Dr Lo has been able to manage all my post op complications (there have been many) without having to be in ER or panic. I really can’t recommend Dr Lo and this clinic enough. I’ve always been treated with absolute courtesy and respect. Throughout Corona they have been available and very responsive. Dr Lo always listens and responds with clear and concise information. Facts sheets and handouts and also explaining everything that is needed. In addition supports combined medical approaches with other specialists and also alternative therapies, rather than just prescribing medication that may not be needed. Dr Lo is great at managing infections, mental health, female related issues, auto immune problems, brain related issues such as Tumours and chiari, and doesn’t prescribe anti biotics or medication when it’s not needed. We did write formally to RACGP with some feedback as we thought there has to be a way Doctors (GP’s) are commended on the work they do. I was surprised that I could only lodge complaints and not positive feedback. So we emailed direct and hope you get this feedback. If there is an option to recommend this practice and GP we would love the opportunity to provide our feedback through formal channels.

Also just wanted to mention reception, the nurses especially the lady that works in the treatment room and had to help with all my stitch removals and skin biopsies and also the pathology nurses (there’s two that are just wonderful) one lady has worked in the field for 20 years and the other is a young Indian Lady. I’ve had some damage to veins prior with blood tests yet I don’t even get pain or a bruise from these two lovely ladies. Reception are ALWAYS courteous and responsive especially Ash. I can get access to anything needed that’s on my file and they always have a smile on their faces. The Pharmacy is great! Especially the head pharmacist and another lady who has been there a while, I think her name might start with an M. They both are so welcoming and if they see you in reception they make the effort to say hi and check in, even though I don’t use the chemist anymore.

Being sick is quite new to me as I’ve had near perfect health, yet the last two years at times I’m there weekly. I’ve never been turned away and feel I wouldn’t be where I am today without all these fantastic people at this clinic. Especially Cr Lawrence Lo.

THANKS Dr Lo for giving me my “quality” of life back, THANKS for ALWAYS listening, THANKS for being so responsive, THANKS for educating me on “other” ways I can manage my condition not just through medication, THANKS for not over and under testing and organising to many scans, THANKS so much for everything you have done for us over the 2 years and getting my health to a point where I am now active and ready to take on the world. We really cannot express our gratitude enough.

Dr's always running late, very very frustrating, as if you as a patient are late you have to pay a fee.so does that mean we get to charge the dr a fee for making us wait?

I had a ear phone rubber tip stuck in my left ear and i was seen by 2 doctors.one in Emergency Dept who said there was no foreign body n my ear canal was clear but the pain was increasing so i saw another local GP (i could not get an appt at Lakes) 2 days later who also said there was no foreign body but my ear canal was "sl red" so she started me on oral antibiotics. WHAM BAM.my ear ache started easing off n by thursday.no pain.i even got a followup call 4 days later to make sure things were improving.highly recommended based on my experience

**The staff in here need more training**

I just went to buy some blood glucose test strips (NDSS subsidised), with the registered form given by the hospital (still waiting for the NDSS registration card though). The pharmacist lady in the counter said "The procedure has been changed now, and we can not provide any products without the NDSS registration card". I said we went to the hospital last Friday and still awaiting for the card, and I presented the certified registration form from the hospital and I said the nurses from the hospital asked us to take this to the pharmacy to get the strips.
Then, a pharmacist guy came in and said "Ohh yeah! We can do a manual over ride". He took the form to a computer.
But, I saw the lady was interrupting him and keep advising him that it is impossible. Then he said "Yes, we can not give you any product"
I came home and did check with NDSS website and it was clear that we can get the products with the certified registration form.
So,
I went to the Chemist Warehouse at Mernda Junction and they gave me the testing stripes within a second and kept the original registration from for paperwork. It's took only less than three minutes for everything.

So avoid this "Lakes Boulevard Medical Pharmacy" and go to the Chemist Warehouse for accurate and prompt purchasing without wasting your time.
