Lady Vandeburg

Decided to take my lovie out for a nice meal at this local dine-in establishment we found. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Service rating 5 stars. And the food, omg, so fattening.but so so yummy. They customised my order to the way I like it without any issues?

We used to be regulars here, but the last few times we’ve had sloppy burgers, cold chips, burnt onion rings, and even the cauliflower bites which were our favourite, tasted different. I’m not sure why we’ve had this experience, but it’s definitely put us off eating here again unfortunately.

Rude and we could see Manager didn’t want us there. No customer service at all. Very rude. So disappointing

Really disappointed ordered dessert and coffees for 2. First dessert and drink came normal time you would expect but my coffee came much later and they obviously forgot my dessert so when so few people at restaurant to not bring out 2 simple orders together let alone huge wait for dessert long wait so coffee would be cold to have with it terribly disappointing

Very disappointing.
Very rude customer service. My friend ordered a philly cheese steak and she paid for extra steak. Upon receiving food there was no extra steak. When politely asking if this was the extra, the waitress replied Rudely with " I don't know, I didn't cook the food". We left before finishing our food as we felt uncomfortable.
There was also an older couple seated next to us who did not own a phone. They had to order manually and not via the phone system. The waitress then told them rudely " it is 2022 get a phone"

Awesome spot for some creative drinks! Stopped in for cocktails before birthday dinner. Great drinks, awesome snacks and service

Regularly get takeaway here. Always arrives within an hour. Which is better than most delivery services. The fact I can get a cocktail delivered with my dinner also definitely earns them a 6th star.

Order our food at 6.30 and it arrived over an hour later cold and soggy. Not happy campers here: (

Food is yummy! I'm not a lover of burgers but when I'm in the mood for one, this is where I go! Enjoy!

A fun place that delivers as promised. A burger joint basically that is popular for a reason. Food is tasty and well prepared with a good range of cocktails and huge milkshakes for the kids. Tables well spaced so no need to shout to be heard over others conversations. Relaxed atmosphere. Great choice for families and groups looking to catch up or come as a couple.

Food is fantastic but website is absolutely horrible! Really turns you off from wanting to order, food always tastes fantastic but the website needs work asap! Logs you out, doesn’t take your order properly, it’s a big mood killer. No hate at all.

Order a meal and waited for a long time, turns out it was sitting behind the counter for 10mins.

I would like to start with some positive before I voice my concerns

Positives: crushed ice drinks really remind me of drinks in the states which I really enjoyed and the burger sizes were really generous!

Negatives:
Reason for this review. When ordered all our meals via mr yum due to covid as we pre paid for our meal which came to roughly $60 but in the notes requested for tomato sauce.
We didn’t know tomato sauce wasn’t free when ordering and the staff informed us she would just bill us and we could pay at the end.

We finished our meal and headed towards the door forgetting to pay for the sauce, the staff member who was at the back of the restaurant decided instead of discretely approaching us to remind us of our remaining bill she thought it was appropriate to yell out across the room in front of other patron “ you have to pay for the sauce” this is not only embarrassing for us, as it was a simple mistake but rude for such a reaction over $2.00

$4.50 for a side of onion rings that contained 4, were burnt and over and under cooked. The burger had good flavour but the meat patties had no flavour and dry and over cooked. First visit will be my last unfortunately.

Arrived with a booking. So I thought. Apparently bookings aren't taken over the phone. Must be online. Arrived with an 18th birthday cake. Was told birthday cakes aren't allowed as they sell desert. Wasn't offered a place in the fridge to keep it till we left. Stored it in the car. Thought we'd order drinks whilst we viewed the menu. Nope. Must order drinks online and pay with a credit card, which came with a surcharge. The cocktail I wanted didn't come with a description online. Asked staff, they never knew. Decided to order our meal at the same time, so we didn't pay the credit surcharge more than once. Once again, we weren't sure what ingredients were in the bugers, we just ordered anyway. Would've had more drinks as my son turned 18. The meals and drinks were delicious and reasonable value for money. Waitresses appeared to be embarrassed with the system. Whilst I believe times are changing. And staff are hard to come by. I'm in my 40's and Apparently old fashioned. As I like customer service and a friendly smiley welcoming face when I'm in a restaurant. All the best Vanderburgs. You've lost my vote and no doubt many others from a country town.

TERRIBLE. The only thing worse than the food was the service. Came to Warrnambool for a holiday and my daughter’s birthday, went for dinner at Lady Vandeburg which was the worst decision I have ever made. After spend hundreds of dollars on food and drinks, I asked for some sauce which took them 30 minutes to get and as I was leaving they ask how I would like to pay for the sauce.

So happy about donuts. We asked about gf and df option from their menu. Apparently the web menu was wrong but they changed it immediately and that was amazing!

Some of the best burgers I've ever tasted, couple that with cocktails and it's win win!
