La Porchetta Berwick

Words fail me. The place was very dusty, the carpets were dirty, the staff weren't rude or nasty, more completely disinterested. We were shown to a table by someone who just pointed and said "that table". The food was almost completely tasteless and boring. When we went to pay we mentioned we were less than impressed and were met with a blank, uninterested look. Would never go there again.

Food was bland not much cheese on the paster,
And the chicken was hard and flavorless.
I just ordered 2 Cesar salads from here and my dog won't even eat it lettuce looks old portion really small.

If I could give them -100 stars I would. Interviewed for a job here many years ago, the manager is racist.

We used to dine in here years ago and i remember the food and service being great.it’s clearly dropped in quality and care the past few years.when we get takeaway from here they never fail to mess something up in our orders.and there is a DISGUSTING amount of oil in the pesto sauce that it makes the dish basically inedible.i don’t know how the chefs can send something out like that.really disappointing to see: (

Tried ordering food through the website for delivery and was told they have no drivers and can't do delivery. I got told the order was canceled and still got charged for the food, Never got a return for my money tried emailing the store and never gotta response. DO NOT RECCOMEND

Ordered online, informed 20min wait got there in 15min and was ready right on 20min. Food was great and staff quick with service.

I agree with other bad reviews, the service is amateurish at best. The staff have no idea what they are doing, clearly poorly trained and inexperienced. Although some elements of our meals were okay it was mostly disappointing. Garlic bread wasn’t cooked properly.

2 hrs for delivery of cold food.over 90$ for 2 people no sauces for chicken scallopini
No chips or salad.
Poor quality.do not get delivery. Used to be our favourite eatery.

I placed a order over the phone I had to keep repeating myself it was hard for the person on the phone to here my order.
I walk into the restaurant in Berwick to pick up my order the person behind the counter was in the phone taking a order with one hand on the phone and the other hand had a finger in her ear because the music was so loud she couldn’t here properly. The manager asked me what my order was but couldn’t here me properly and I had to yell my name and order because the music was so loud I told him to turn the music do so I could talk to him and not have to yell. His response was it’s ok I always have the music up it’s not a problem but it’s a problem for your staff and for your customers that have to yell there name and order. But at this point the staff weren’t wearing there masks properly for the risk of COVID protection for the staff and there customers. Very poor attitude and very poor professional behaviour my the manager I would recommend going to this store at all. The food was also terrible had to flavour I could have ask a child to make a better meal.

2hrs to get it delivered, ordered chicken scallopini, get chicken on its own, no sides, small garlic pizza, 83.00.what a rip off.never again.

The welcome was excellent and the menu was extensive. The quality of the food was fair. A small pizza was overcooked.cheesy
Bread was really good.then 2 massive parmas arrived hanging off the edges of the plate and a chicken scallopini was more cheesy cream sauce when the menu described the sauce a white wine sauce. The cost was reasonable. We couldn't manage dessert but they looked amazing.worth a visit just for coffee and cake

Nicely presented but that's as far as it goes.
Regularly buy from La Porcheta Cranbourne and never had an issue.
Berwick La Porcheta was less than average.
Pasta was so dry, lacking any kind of red sauce.
Veal scallopini was really chewy, far too many Carrots and not enough greens.
Salad was the only thing that was nice. Fresh.
Lemon meringue was ridiculously small. Other La Porcheta's give you a large slice of cake. This is a tiny little cupcake portion. Minimal lemon curd which had no flavour, bland. Just a mound or meringue which is bordering on sickly.
Won't return in a hurry.

They underpay their young new employees (specifically the females, not males) with the intention of taking advantage of naive new workers who wouldnt be willing to make complaints. Also went here for dinner and had to ask for the same drink 6 times to the same person before receiving it, this was on a fairly quiet night as well. Overall very poor service and very unprofessional.

Dined last night with the family, unfortunately it was a bad decision on our part to eat here, food was average nothing to rave about, the service was absolutely appalling, from my personal experience when you dine out & expect reasonable service! Everything was simply place down at the end of our table eating staff have no training whatsoever, they seem to employ only inexperienced staff at this venue, we constantly had to ask for stuff, as soon as one walks into this place you just know it’s not what it used to be. Last time we’ll be eating here. I’m struggling to understand why do people bother eating here at all, after reading so many bad reviews about this restaurant?

What a NIGHT! The Best restraunt, the new lights in the bar, the decoartion.the staff the food everything beautful. AMAZING

Wont be eating here ever. Where to start. Monday parmi night $15.90, my partner ordered it with veg. Go to pay and it's $25 because it wasn't ordered with a salad. I had a glass of rose $8.90.went to pay and there was a sign, $15 a bottle. Waitress didn't mention a thing. Sent 3 meals back due to excessive minced garlic. Had a table of 5. Worst restaurant experience I've had.

Enjoyed a late lunch after coming away from our home in the Dandenongs. Very emotional being home, worked hard all our lives to own our home, then to hav it destroyed in one night by winds. Staff were kind n helpful, meal first for the day at 3pm. Thank u.

Let's start with the positive. Food was good. Tasty well cooked. Had the spaghetti pescatore- could have been a little more seafood in there in the micro herbs could have been a bit fresher - but really coriander? Maybe basil would have been more appropriate.

The service however - although friendly lacked quality. Had to ask twice for a second drink. As said I order spaghetti and had to ask three times for a spoon and some parmesan. In the end I went up and got a spoon myself before food got cold. Parmesan was brought our for the kids so pinched some of that. When the second drink came there were only 2 other drinks brought by the same staff member who took the order, but she couldn't remember who order what. Either a lack of skill or training or interest or all three.

One tried to remove my bowl with food still there in the cutlery very much in an " I am still eating" position. More training required.

Finally I was looking forward to the tirramasu - but no one came back asking if we wanted deserts.

Pick up you game. It's not a food truck and with most meals over $25 I expect more.

Great service! I ordered a chicken parma and it was really great value for money, the staff was excellent, very nice and efficient. My family and I will definitely be coming back again in the future the kids loved it.

Ive been here a couple times and the service is great every time, the staff are very nice and do their job well. The food is great quality and well worth it. Definitely coming back.
