It’s a shame to see my original review can. I longer be viewed.
Not to worry I’m happy to repost.

Last year I had the opportunity to try on one of your stunning gowns. I fell in love with “the” dress that night, however since then I have had such a negative experience dealing with the company that it has unfortunately surpassed my love for the gown.

During this process with One Day Bridal I have been made to doubt myself and my body, I have been made to feel like I cannot trust the advice from the stylists and I have made to feel copious amounts of anxiety.

I had been measured twice for a size for my dream gown. My first consultation I was advised on one size, the second consultation (with my largest measurement being exactly the same as measured on the first consultation) I was advised to go a whole size larger. I was then told we had to pay alteration fee to bring the gown back down to fit me properly.
I’d like to add that I have been advised from One Day Bridal that the size is determined buy your largest measurement.
If my largest measurement was the same for both consultations then why wasn’t the larger size recommended to me in the first place?
Unfortunately I am still yet to receive an answer on this. It’s disappointing to see the lack of accountability buy the company. Unfortunately this was the catalyst to my horror experience.

I’d also like to add that when we questioned why we had to go up a dress size on the night of the second consultation, I was told it was because I could put weight on from now to the dress being made. There was no further explanation from the stylist.

The situation just got worse and worse as the days went on. Eventually I asked for my money back. Unfortunately as I signed a contract I was unable to. I think is utterly ridiculous. Why should I have to pay for the bad customer service and a horrible experience? I’m honestly still in shock at how this whole situation went so sour.

The bad treatment and lack of accountability on the company’s behalf is disappointing to say the least. I was told that One Day Bridal takes my thoughts and feelings seriously but it is clear that they don’t.

This is my cautionary tale from me to you, one bride to be to another.

My daughter in-law ordered a dress at this store which at first seemed like a professional and high quality establishment. Unfortunately she had a very poor experience which left me fuming. Extremely unprofessional service and she was held hostage 1 week before her wedding; if she did not pay an extra $400 to amend faulty alterations, she would not have a dress at all. Very poor. I will never recommend them to any brides-to be. Huge amount of unnecessary stress for an already high pressure situation.

Edit: thanks for your response, however you have the wrong bride in mind. The alterations I refer to were not additional but to amend faulty alterations made by one of your dressmakers. No discount was offered for a veil, certainly nothing was offered to make up for the mistakes.
