Great service, great location (in one of Melbourne's arcades, which always look very fancy and classically Victorian), great food n' drink. Definitely try the brownies.

An excellent little chocolate/ coffee shop in the Royal Arcade in Melbourne. Pots of tea were lovely and the pastries were also very nice. Didn't purchase any chocolate products, but would expect them to be of the same standard of the shop.

If you have a sweet tooth then Koko Black is a "must do". The hot chocolate is divine. Everything I've tried so far is done just right, not sickly sweet

Have been going here for many years to buy selections of their individual chocolates as gifts. The chocolate selection process and how they are laid out in front of you in cabinet, and the banter with friendly staff about the many flavours and choices on hand is a great retail customer experience. Not cheap, but wife has never complained.

Wow! I am loving this choco store and would like to recommend the store to all my friends and family. I visited this store last week randomly and was amazed. They have very good chocolates which are very rich in taste. I bought a lot of chocolates from them and they even gave me a good discount. I am thankful to them and would love to visit again.

Go upstairs if you want to feel like you're fancier then what you are. Watching people go about their day as you enjoy excellent chocolates and chocolate based sweets is how I want to live my whole life.

Service was prompt. Wrong coffee was delivered to the table and immediately replaced. Staff were friendly and well mannered.

Everything was clean and organised, well presented.

I adore their signature short round water glasses.

We sat for close to an hour just watching the morning pass.

Great selection of chocolates. We got the milk chocolate honeycomb and ice cream. Both were delicious. There is ample seating inside. The store is located in an arcade which is quaint and enjoyable to look through.

Always recommend the hot chilli chocolate and their range of chocolates is amazing. However when dining in, the service can be slow. And when busy the place can get quite noisy.

Coffee was nice and hot. Chocolate was delicious. Service at the cashier by the blonde with glasses, horrendous cold and abrupt. She could most definitely use some training on customer service delivery.

Delicious chocolates as usual but was disappointed with our experience last week. We arrived at the cafe at about 4.30pm, ground floor tables were all occupied but staff was not helpful in accommodating us upstairs saying they would close shortly (the 'official ' closing time being 6pm). Staff seemed unwilling to make any efforts, not happy with the customer service.

Great chocolate, cheap feeling painted over atmosphere with alien choices for glassware. Good coffee, rich flavours and beautiful windows upstairs.

We had coffee at Koko Black which was very good flavored coffee and good atmosphere in the heart of the city.

The staff made ordering difficult, as some items were unavailable, and when something else was chosen it was given to another customer. Also issues when trying to order specific hot chocolates. The day we went it was raining but even though we were indoors it was coming through the roof onto our table making it hard to finish our meal.

Cosy little place that has two floors worth of seating. Very good place to chill and have a delicious hot choccie or iced choccie

Lovely chocolates - must have the champagne truffles! The coffee is very nice too - good spot to sit out the front and people watch in a beautiful historic arcade.

Love this place since forever. The hot chocolate and ice chocolate is so delishy.
If you want a more darker setting you can go upstairs. I live how there is no big bright lights so it sets a nice ambience.

Fantastic hot chocolate, great chocolates. (Average sandwiches. But you don't go there for savoury!)
