81 We had spent our mums birthday here, and may I say, we had the loveliest chef. His name was Jun and was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the food he was serving. This is my first time at teppanyaki and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back here for other special occasions.
Jun was also lovely enough to accomodate to my food allergies.
Is a Japanese restaurant at Crown Casino. It is a wonderful tasting dinner which the chef cooks right in front of you. He is a wonderful chef with a good sense of humour. Great night had by all eight of us.
Great dining experience, very friendly staff. Food was presented timely and every dish we had was quality. Setting and environment is very zen! Pricey but it's as expected.
Heard some good things but I really didn’t enjoy the food. Service was ok, nothing to rave about. Had the wagyu steak and it was tough and hard to eat. Tried the Japanese brûlée but couldn’t eat it. The flavour was too strong. We were given the bill as soon as we finished dessert and told they needed the table back. Wouldn’t go back. Cost us $300 for shared entree, main and dessert.
Beautiful food. Friendly staff. Needs management skills. Yes, booking yes.come in. No. Wait. In 35 minutes. Ok. Uh, no 5 minutes. Ok. Hi. Can i help you? Oh ok. 20 minutes. Lol.
Yeah nah.
Easily one of the better choices amongst the selection within the casino complex. Came here on two separate occasions. One was a friend's birthday dinner and we had the teppanyaki course menu. The chef was friendly and handled the crowd well. I felt quite full by the end of the course. Another time was a la carte lunch. I would recommend the japanese hotpot for at least three people. The crayfish Tempura is light crisp but has good chewiness on the inside.

Excellent experience and customer service. Highly recommend. Food was delicious! Great for that special occasion.
We enjoyed the tepanyaki experience, service and food quality plus for our first time. We had the banquet, very filling. Loved it.
10/10 would 100% recommend the teppanyaki, had an amazing chef, who was very funny and loved his job.not a fan of seafood myself, but every dish was cooked to perfection, not to mention the cocktails were exquisite in both taste and presentation!
The surprise sparkler with dessert for my boyfriend's graduation was the cherry on top of an already wonderful experience. All staff were so considerate and friendly; it was an amazing environment to be in!
Clarence and sarah were exceptional and they made our first experience at Koko very memorable so thankyou guys:)
Absolutely loved this restaurant, honestly just for the service alone they deserve 5 stars. The staff was so welcoming and respectful it was beautiful to see it’s honestly not often that you get to go to a restaurant where you actually get service that you appreciate, some people are nice for the sake of it, but I felt that the people who worked at this restaurant genuinely cared about the service they were offering and of course the food was beautifully presented and it tasted lovely, depending on your tastes and palate, I’m sure there’s a dish for everyone. I was very I pressed and happy with the service and for that alone I would recommend this restaurant as a must try. I will definitely be going back ️.
Always delicious. Had the $120 set menu and added some spider rolls. Fantastic and plenty of food.
Fabulous staff and amazing food well worth the price paid. And it was my birthday so go a candle and special dish as I'm gluten free
Really nice place, ordered the set menu as me and my girlfriend were both hungry that day. The sashimi is quite fresh and the texture of the fish and beef is amazing. We also really appreciate the place was still open on that Monday night around 9PM.
July (Jun) was an an amazing chef! Amazing food, sensational chef made for an unforgettable experience. You need to come to Tassie Jun!
I booked a friend’s birthday dinner in koko teppanyaki last weekend. The whole dining experience was amazing! We had two $150 set menu and two cocktails there. The waitress “Sarah” was friendly and her service was so detailed and professional. Except the Sarah’s excellent service, chef “ marten “ was also nice and he always trying to communicate with us. The whole dining was a unforgettable experience and it won’t be the last visit for us in koko. Highly recommend.
Great up market Teppanyaki experience. For the latest visit we had the set menu which consisted of a nice range of vegetables, seafood, meat and then dessert. All dishes were amazing and its one of the only times I'd entertain prawn heads but it goes to show they know what they're doing and they cook with the highest quality. Wine and cocktails were top notch and service was friendly and efficient. Props to our chef who was quiet but highly skilled and didn't mind us taking photos as he was working.
Great service, bit uncomfortable and squeezy sitting in the private room. I would say very pricey for what you got, didn't like the desserts.
First time having teppanyaki at Koko. It was an enjoyable experience watching the chef cook and prepare the food. We had the $150 set menu and cocktails, all of the food were amazing and met my expectations. My favorite dishes were the fish and wagyu. The service was above and beyond, the chef Martin was very nice and interactive, our waitress was Sarah, she was super friendly and offered to take photos for us. Will come back for a second visit.
