Arrogant, aggressive, dismissive. Tried to tell me my Disk Rotors were causing car vibrations after tyre change. Mycar head office referred me to Ringwood mycar that fixed the issue with a wheel re-balance. Wouldn’t even take the car in for a road test as it was “no way” a tyre related issue (after a tyre change ‍️).

Very Bad experience last week with the stop manager. Booked for change tyre 9: 00-10: 00. Went there 9: 00 and were told to pick up by the end of the day. I said I can’t leave the car and wait in the shopping town for a whole day. I have plenty of things to do, that’s why we make booking. The manager had a very long face and rude. No greeting, no sorry, Don’t even want to explain. And later on said no stock in shop? If you don’t have the tyre in store, why ask me to leave the car there for a whole day? After i made complaints through the phone to their head office. He was very unhappy and checked again, said the tyre might be delivered 16: 00. I had no choice and said Ok. Let me know when it’s in and i will Comeback. Wait until end of the day, he said still no in stock. Still no apologies, sounds like it’s my fault!
Lucky i didn’t leave the car there and waiting in the shopping town for a whole day! This person is not responsible for his job and rude to client. I will Never go back again!

Michael has gone above and beyond my expectations for my service & new tyre change on my vehicle recommend anyone very pleased.

I booked my car for logbook service through their website and I chose premium service and paid for $296 plus $350+ on cleaning, replacing the filter of the A/C. All the while I thought that service covers everything. But to my surprise when my husband collected the car and showed me the receipt, that price was just the labour and he had to pay the difference. Very deceiving.

Thanks for the worst customer experience I have had in a while Michael.

My partner called to book in for a rotation and balance, Michael was very interested in why the car was not getting a wheel alignment and where it was going for a wheel alignment.

After over a 2 hour wait the car was returned and my partner invoiced for a wheel alignment with the rotation and balance done at no charge. This is not what we asked for.

To top really top it off they didn't even balance all the wheels. As you can see in the photos the rear weights are dirty and old. This was the only thing we wanted done and it wasn't even done right.

So after the worst conversation I have had this year with Michael who just denied everything and blamed my partner for requesting a wheel alignment I have had a wonderful conversation with a customer service representative at head office who will help us follow up on this extremely poor service.

I have to ask Michael, if I a man dropped the car off would you have still pulled the same stunt?

DISHONEST, DODGY.

Car had starting issues, battery was flat.

MyCar (Doncaster) replaced battery, and that was fine.

But I was also told the alternator needed replacing as the battery was not charging.

Luckily, my neighbour's handy multi-meter proved otherwise.

Battery was charging fine, alternator did NOT need replacing.

Been driving around for months with no issues.

Did not appreciate the DISHONESTY just to try and get an up-sell.

I recently had a punctured tire. Michael was so accommodating, gave an excellent quality tire at a fair price, worked around my schedule and rotated my tyres. Best customer service at my car - I’m now booking all my cars in there for a service too.

I took my car in for a log book service. I was assured that a log book service would be conducted according to the manufacturer’s specifications. I received a call midway through the service suggesting I needed a combustion chamber clean due to a build up of carbon on one of the cylinder heads. This is certainly not part of the manufacturer’s service schedule! Why they would open up the engine to supposedly check this? I told the mechanic on the phone not to proceed with this clean to which he agreed.

Upon collection of the car I found they still went ahead with it and that I had to pay for the clean because the invoice had been finalised and there was nothing they could do and that my car could not leave until it was paid. We got into a big argument with me saying there had to be a way to reverse that charge, and it was a very embarrassing situation to be in with other customers in the store. When I said I would contact head office he surprisingly found a way to waive the charge.

Upon enquiring with the car dealership, a combustion chamber clean is a lengthy process costing $1500-$2000, so what was the $105 MyCar was trying to charge me all about? Were they just trying to get a bit extra out of me? To open up the engine head would have taken a lot of their time which I am sure would not have simply cost me $105.00 if it was legitimate!
I have since been experiencing a fault message appearing on the dash that reads “Engine System Service Required” which is not the usual “Regular Service Due” message. I will now need to go to the dealership to hook up their diagnostic system to interpret the fault code.

They should never have tampered with the combustion chamber without prior consent (if at all they did), and then try and charge me for it.

This has been a very poor experience with MyCar, and what's worse it's been over a week and MyCar have not bothered replying to my written complaint.

I have a ford focus 2013 model and its air con stopped cooling. I have asked a local mechanic and said no pressure in the air con and need to be filled. I have called mycar service and they said it cost $193 for full fillment. But if there is a leak it depends on the problem. And for today morning, I booked service in doncaster shopping center mycar service. In the morning, i explained the possible issues and the new manager said, i will call an air conditioner technician and will fix. And he asked me, “do you want me to fix air con issue”. I said “yes”. I left my car at 8: 15 and got a call at 11: 00 and the guy said. We fixed your issue and it cost $1285. I was shocked asked a couple of times. This is the first time, I have not get informed for a repairing. Did not expect this much cost. I asked what they have done in service. The guy said, the condenser is changed. I called another air con expert how much can costthis service and changing the the condenser and he said up to $750. So, all I can say, this is really unfair trading if I have get informed for the costs I could save at least $500. I have 2 family cars and I will never be at that service again. I put a photo of 2 hours labour $935 and spare part is $350.

Service was very straightforward and easy. All the services done for my car were properly explained to me. This includes the additional services that had to be done after the inspection. I will definitely go back here to get my car serviced next time.

I bought 4 tires during Black Friday sales. When I sent my car to Mycar this morning, I was informed by the manager that the tires I had ordered were not there. However the manager tried his best effort and managed to sort out the problem within the day. He got the 4 tires and called me to return to the Mycar service center and fixed the new 4 tires for me. Kudos to the manager and everything is okay now. Will definitely go back again!

Amazing service, I had a flat battery in the shopping Centre car park, the team where fantastic and jump started my car, and replaced my battery even had to send a team member to there other store to get the right battery. Can’t thank you enough Peter and team

Peter & his team were incredible! I turned up @ 3.30pm with a punctured tyre. Peter ordered the tyre from another store, fitted, rotated & balanced all wheels in record time. All this while they still had 4 other jobs to complete for the day. Unbelievable customer service. I could not recommend them more highly.

Amazing service and very friendly! They went the extra mile to ensure I got the car back as soon as possible as there were some unexpected repairs. I was kept up to date and was informed immediately when the car was ready. Definitely recommend!
