KFC Thornbury

Worse fries ever! Large serve not even filled properly and I would not consider that as a large serve. Very soggy and didn't taste good at all.

The weather was very hot, when I want in the KFC to buy my food inside, the air-con wasn't working so it was very hot to seat and eat inside. I felt sorry for employees who work in the kitchen

The most consistently inconsistent KFC in Australia, perhaps worldwide. If you ordered a large, you will get a small. Drink in the bag, you bet it's in the fridge. Crispy wicked wings, more like stodgy. Supercharged sauce in the burger, it's still in the kitchen!
I keep going back though. 5 stars for the mysterious and intangible reason why I return. Damn you! But thank you.

Ordered a zinger box and asked for tender strips instead of wicked wings and only received ONE MEASLY TENDER THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be bringing my family back to this establishment. Good service

Realyy bad food and very overpriced, got food poisoned once and the ambulance had to rush me to hospital

Would be 5 stars if they hadn't discontinued the $10 popcorn chicken box. The vegetarian options are also appetising although I have personally never tried them.

The food is tasty but the service is appalling. Every time I go, I'm surprised at how bad it is, even when I'm expecting it to be bad.

We had to wait half an hour for our order. I will never visit again. The management lack structure and a sense of urgency. I feel sorry for staff who work here.

My friend and I decided to pick up our dinner at KFC Thornbury early Saturday evening. We ordered a regular Zinger burger, a bacon and cheese zinger burger without mayo and a bunch of other stuff take away. When we received our food, I decided to check the burgers before we left and sure enough, they were both wrong. The regular zinger had no mayo, and the bacon and cheese had mayo which is not what we ordered so I went back to the counter and advised the staff and they informed me that they would fix it. Great, thats the outcome I was looking for so I waited. Waited about 5 minutes whilst our other food got cold. Eventually I got the burgers and walked to the car and left for home, I was confident that the staff wouldn't get the order wrong twice so we went home to eat. WRONG, I was so wrong. They got the burger wrong AGAIN. This time they forgot the cheese, but at least it was without mayo. I decided to call the store, this turned out to be another disappointment, the male staff member I spoke to disputed my claims of missing cheese. He was certain there was cheese in it. 100% certain and we went on and on for a minute or so until I decided to take a photo and email it to him because he was so certain blah blah blah. So I know he'll probably delete the email and nothing will be done about his terrible customer service and the management will never see my email so here it is, my complaint and proof that they didn't put cheese in the burger the second time.

Pretty good Chuck fried establishment. Not as good as the Bendigo CBD or Echuca KFCs obviously but they’re country and this is city.this one is a lot better than most metro KFCs. Order yourself some extra salt on the chips and you’ll be satisfied. Always decent customer service here too

The crown jewel of Thornbury. I'm 100% sure that 40% of the chicken is, in fact, ibis. Delicious though. Will return.

I don't usually write reviews, but i had to, i was taken back by the level of customer service going through the drive through on a recent visit, the girl that served me i think her name was suhur. (please forgive the spelling) she just went above and beyond with a smile and such helpfulness to some fussy eaters on cold miserable melbourne day when there wasn't a smile in the city, it was very much appreciated please say thank you for me and kudos to whoever is training the brilliant staff there.thank you

Why oh WHY don't they remember to salt their chips? ! Besides that, service and speed of service was good. But the salted fries? !

A few times, they have had no chicken. Several times, I have arrived home without this KFC putting items I ordered in the bag.

The food is fresh and way tastier than the KFC’s in the metro area. Very fast drive through service as well. Thanks.

Food is just normal quick food. I give 1 star due to the environment. Rubbish on floor, desks and chairs.

Horribly slow. Three times I’ve come and it’s taken 15 minutes each if not more. Staffs are obviously new every time and has no idea what is going on until they see a line. What is the management doing?
