63 It has been very slow and frustrating start for the restoration of my hallway which was water damaged by broken gravity hot water system in the ceiling. It took more than 2 months for the work to be completed. Partially due to JP Flynn engaging another company to deal with the mould remediation of the walls and ceiling. The dehumidifier machine installed by Ststematic has been running here 24/7 for 21 days without achieving any results
Once the machine was removed and the repair work commenced, it progressed quickly and the result is good. All work done by the tradesman was done well and I’m pleased with the final outcome.
Again, i thought i must post my frustration regarding this company as it has taken way too long to get a simple insurance job fixed. Its taken over 2 months to get a ceiling removed and repainted and im still waiting for a window frame which has taken almost 4 months and counting. I have had nothing but constant dramas with JP Flynn. Communication has been a major issue. I have been told numerous things from different people with no results. I have been given the runaround every single time i call and trust me i have called.
The trades we have received have been quiet good though in terms of dealing with this company has been nothing but dreadful.
Update: Spoke to Sarah, who was quiet helpful and stated the job will be completed in 10 days time. Will post an update once the job gets completed.
If your insurance company assigns JP Flynn Builders to undertake your insurance repair job insist you do not want them! Avoid at all costs! We are currently approaching 11 months into our insurance repair work to an external wall of a two bedroom unit. During this time four separate project administrators have been assigned to our file! CGU insurance company why you have these builders assigned to your customers beggars belief! They are incompetent, never return your calls, unprofessional. The negative reviews across numerous media platforms clearly illustrates the frustration clients have endured with this company!
