Consistently delicious time and time again.
Plus the waiter that's always there is fantastic, breaks things down to anyone that is new to the cuisine.

Omg! Best Ramen ever! Didn't like ramen before I went here. My friend intiruduced me. Have taken other people here and they feel the same. I live so far away but I come here as often as I can because it's frekin worth it.

My first time here with a couple of mates.we stopped by because we heard great things about this place.the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was quite cosy and it was a good place to hang overall.

I'm not sure whether it was a bad day or not, but all four ramen ordered was not that great (compared to the other ramen restaurants I've reviewed).

Sure, the extra noodles was free but the broth was almost lukewarm. The only thing that was hot was the noodles and it didn't make sense.

When you think of ramen, you think of the broth - if the broth feels like it's been microwaved for 15 seconds, then the experience is ruined.

I might give this place another chance due to how it's highly regarded and give it the benefit of the doubt, we came on a bad day.

But until then, my rating will stay.

As someone who never ate ramen before they took the time to explain everything to us to make sure we make the right choice. The food was delicious and seemed of very good quality. We asked the waiter where we could find a shopping mall and she came up with a hand drawn map, that is real customer service! Beyond the food perfect, 5/5!

Been here many times over recent years.
Always fantastic flavoursome ramen. Get it just the way you like it. Friendly team. Weekend lunch is easy, no queues.

Ramen is one of my winter go-tos and I was looking to try somewhere new. I was excited to try Ikkoryu Fukuoka due to its high rating and good reviews however was a little disappointed. We walked in on a Friday night to a full restaurant and waited around 10 minutes for a table. We ordered by marking our pieces of paper with our selected dishes and cooking preferences. We both opted for the spicy ramen with pork belly and my boyfriend added the special meat dish with pork belly, slow cooked pork and pork ribs as well as a serve of gyoza. I enjoyed the gyoza, and loved the dipping sauce. The ramen however was disappointing. My “hard” noodles had the texture of being cooked in warm water for a long time so they were hard on the inside and mushy on the outside but tasted floury. I also wasn’t a fan of the broth. I did however like the bamboo shoots and the pork which were both marinated and had a sweet taste. The ribs served with the other ramen was very tasty although difficult to eat. The egg was also cooked to perfection. Overall the meal wasn’t satisfying and I wouldn’t be keen to line up again.

It is ok for a quick ramen fix. Still can't beat Momotaro rahmen on Bridge road Richmond.too bad they closed few years ago.

I think we all enjoyed the ramen and I asked them to change some things and they got it right. Ordering is easy as you simply circle what you would like on their paper menu. They have a good range on drinks but not a great range of types of alcoholic drinks if that is what you are looking for. Man downside was their bathrooms. They need to pay more attention to the condition of them through the night. All in all not a bad place but wouldn't rate it amoung the best Japanese place in the area and the bathrooms were a major let down.

Ramen was ok, but it took along time to arrive and the soup was warm. The chashu just didn't seem right. The egg was good.

It was bit expensive than other noodle house. And A black soup noodle was too garlicky - even I could not eat half of them.

Great little ramen place underground in the city. Simple menus that you fill in and give to the waiters. The ramen broths are amazing, the amount of flavour packed into them is awesome and you can taylor the ingredients to what you like. I can also recommend the plum wine taster

One of my favorite ramen places in the CBD. Food are great and quite authentic, staffs are super friendly.

And hey chilli lovers, you can't go wrong with this place, there are 7 levels of spiciness for you to challenge. I have tried up to level 5, and it burned me inside out.

Black garlic ramen is very nice as well.

Be warned, the price is above average for a casual lunch, but it is worthy.

A decent fukuoka ramen restaurant set in the CBD near Russell street and Flinders lane. I chose a black garlic ramen with egg and pork slices. Tasty broth with black oil. Ramen bowl plus egg is around $19. Slightly more formal setting than your typical ramen bar. Waiter was friendly unfortunately did get my order wrong but the Ramen was good

That's some spicy ramen. I love my chilli but this place is hot. Very tasty ramen though and highly recommended. Quick, friendly service.

Their belly is legit! Melt in the mouth, fatty goodness! The broth is ok, not as good as Hakata Gensuke but a fair substitute if you really can’t be bothered lining up but need your ramen hit.

Some brilliant ramen, good for ramen beginers and those udon masters.
The staff are polite, there are private rooms, and the sake is plentiful.

Ramen was average taste, but they gave 4-5 slices of pork so compared to other ramen shops it’s prety generous) you get to choose broth, noodle, extra etc. Soup was not enough though.asked for extra soup but apparently they charge for it. Also ordered ox tongue.a bit pricy for the size IMO.

Tucked away downstairs, offers great ramen done to your taste - can make as individual as you like it. Mr Three loved the broth and fried yam chips.
