I bought a Dal Rossi backgammon set on the 18th December for a Christmas present and it arrived super fast. Over moon happy with their service, communication and the securer packaging the item arrived in. I would definitely recommend shopping with Hearns Hobbies.

Paid express post next day delivery ($20). Package didn’t arrive so after 7 days emailed the company and package was sent the next day. Bit disappointed it took me reaching out and no refund of express post fee or anything.

Product itself is good quality and reasonably priced. Maybe I’ll just go back to shopping in person

Great place to get your hobby fix. Staff very helpful and you can tell they at least build kits themselves which goes a long way when they recommend. Spoke to BJ and he is super helpful and knowledgeable on stuff. Is a good person to speak to if you are a beginner. Closed on Sundays so take note

Worst posting experience I have ever had. I bought some thin long tubing from them and they decided to pack it in a flat cardboard (not a tube) like it should have been. It then was delivered and was all bent on delivery then they blamed Australia post for the damage instead of taking the responsibility of the terrible packs that really should not have been that hard to work out that it would have bent with the slightest movement of the flat pack. They then didn’t offer me a full refund they went on to explain I should have taken insurance on a $35 purchase which is ridiculous. Now I have no item that is usable and no refund as they don’t offer a full refund even though it was their fault for terrible packaging. After 4 phone calls following up my damaged item or any type of refund they then only offered $10 refund which was basically the cost of the postage and not the item. They were rude on the phone and short with me and unfortunately this is why customer service is absolutely terrible these days as most people have no people skills and they all blames everyone but themselves for the damage that could have been avoided if they just packaged it right the first time. Pretty poor
