Harvey Norman Waurn Ponds

It took almost 12 months to get a $120 refund for uncompleted harvey Norman contractors work, paid in advance.
It took dozens of phone calls, lies, promises to finally conclude this episode.
Never use their contractors

Ended up walking out as woman who was meant to be serving me was 'busy' on the phone on a personal call, bad customer service

Spoke with a gentleman in computers. Very knowledgeable. Knew what I needed and gave me all the assistance I needed. Seem less transaction. Pity I can't say the same for the team at furniture here.

Had carpets and flooring installed this week.installers did an amazing job, cannot fault. The house looks great thanks to you guys.

Excellent customer service with Peter the IT person that help me with my Laptop. Very grateful for helping solve my email problem. Many thanks again.

Not a lot of staff at the moment but they were very helpful bought a great carpet shampooer.got a great deal abd the young lady who served me was very nice

I visited this store on 15-July-2020. I recevied an excellent service by a staff member named Rex.

I purchased the last available Samsung Q90r soundbar from that model in the store and he did a good service by explaining the technical side of the product and gave me a comparison of the products in the same range according to my requirement. With his help I think I purchased the most suitable product for myself. As a result I am highly statisfied with what I have purchased.

This is not the first time, all the time I get a great service from the staff in Waurnponds store. Please encourage and mortivate them to keep this up.

This is a big showroom offering most things for the home. Due to the size of this shop there is plenty of space to observe social distancing. There is ample parking out the front, whilst the pick-up point is at the rear of the building.

Don't buy a adjustable bed from them they sell you it with a mattress that doesn't go with it and won't listen when i returned to the store to let them know they just said they know there mattress and it fit it just has to be worn in yet mattress will not fold when you ajust the bed. Spent around 1800 dollars for the mattress just to have to throw it out.then Spent another 2000 dollars for new mattress that goes with a adjustable bed.

Horrible shopping experience due to degrading and strange staff behaviour.
I accompanied my mother to this store at around 6pm today as she wanted to purchase herself a new fridge and a new computer, she wasn’t quite sure what she was after so was looking for staff expertise and the staff couldn’t care less.
The first salesman wandered over and took us straight to the most expensive fridge, upon us asking what brands he recommended he said “they are basically all the same” then just walked off seemingly giving up on us think he wouldn’t make a big commission.
He then returned five minutes later eating and asked with his mouthfull what suburb we lived in to see if we were worth trying to sell to!

After finally getting help from a saleslady for the fridge she said she would compleat the sale after we had picked out our computer. She passed us over to a young salesman who couldn’t have cared less about selling to us, didn’t recommend anything and outright said he didn’t want to deal with the paperwork of making a sale this late at night, eventually mum decided she just wouldn’t get a computer and went to find the woman about the fridge.
Turn out she had gone home, and after being passed around to three more people who each once they found out the paperwork hadn’t been started yet all “had a customer they had to get back to” or just outright walked off and never came back.
The paperwork was finally completed by a nice young woman who seemed to be the only staff member left for us to get to actually finalise the sale.
Mum left the store upset and wishing she had taken her money elsewhere.

Staff were rude, unhelpful, and disgustingly judgemental, the young computer salesman and fridge sales woman continuously spoke directly to me even though we made it clear MUM was the one buying the produces yet they continued to ignore her.
When signing the paperwork the first rude salesman was talking to a man telling him how he doesn’t bother trying to sell to people if he doesn’t think they look like they have the money!

The whole experience was appalling and I wouldn’t recommend this store or it’s employees “services” to my worst enemy!

Extremely knowledgeable and very helpful salesman (Allan). We were shopping for a new TV and thought we knew what we wanted, but our thoughts were wrong/incomplete in regards to our needs.
Allan was very patient and provided heaps of advice and suggestions with ZERO pushiness to actually cajole us into buying. He advised, left us alone to talk, recommended things we might like as well as things we didn't need (even though we thought we did!).
A real asset to the department.
And yes, we did buy a TV with a few bells and whistles and a good price!

Did a click and collect order, straight forward process and the girls serving in-store were friendly and efficient. Will be buying my appliances from here from now on.

Tristan the manager is single handedly the best manager I've had the privilege of meeting, him along with the rest of the staff have been more than helpful and understanding multiple times without fail, if you can go to this Harvey Norman specifically I implore you to do so.

We can't thank Tristan and Peter from the computer section enough! Our Three week old surface pro was accidentally knelt on, and they have gone above and beyond to help us out! We have made several purchases through Tristan, and he has always been knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend them. Thanks again for everything!

We went to buy a new bed and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They answered all questions we had without any pushing for any sales. We did try the other home shops near by but ended up coming back and buying the bed from here because of the service and pricing.

Trish was amazingly helpful when showing us around the coffee machines today - she even took the time to make us a coffee! Very pleased with our new purchase! Thanks Trish ️

Harvey norman is were it is ladys and gents the one stop shop for furniture and electronic stuff.

Only problem is always very busy and long waits.
