Went in to check out steam cleaners, a very lovely lady call Trish helped me, she explained each cleaner, if she couldn’t answer the question she researched it. I got my cleaner and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping trip. I did previously go to Good Guys and got no help do good on you Harvey Norman for having valued well trained caring staff.

My partner and I have had a great experience dealing with Ben in computers. He went above and beyond helping us decide on our nbn and mobile phone requirements. He spent a lot of time giving us all the information and answered all our questions we had. We'll definitely be back there to use Harvey Norman again all due to the great service we got from Ben. Give him a raise as he definitely deserves it!

Had a problem with a microwave I bought in store, went back & Rosie helped us out with purchasing another one great customer service she was very helpful & went out of her way to please us. Also like to thank the young guy think his name was Clayton in the pick up area he was very nice & helpful. Thanks to them both. Happy New Year!

My experience in this store was in the photo printing area.
I've gone to a store closer but there is always issues with the photo service equipment.
The service was helpful, kind and for me who can be a bit slow on the take they were patient, I was shown options to what I wanted and visually show not just push this go there.
Ill travel from 3214 to get here because good service is everything.

We went in to Harvey Norman Waurn Ponds today to purchase a television. We browsed the furniture section first which had lovely staff members available to help if we needed. When entering the electronics section of the store, the staff were all gathered around the back of the store, watching the Grand Final game on the televisions, which were turned up very loud as staff sang and danced around. We continued to look at the televisions and took a long time to decide on what we wanted. Throughout this time we were offered assistance multiple times by staff, however we were there to make our own minds up and needed some space to do so. After a long period of time deciding on our preferred television, we picked one and had some questions for a staff member. When asking a staff member about our questions, they tried to upsell us on a different television. We were asking for reassurance that the television we were buying would be fit for our purpose and that we would be able to do something if it wasn't, all because they didn't (and wouldn't) show it being used for our intended purpose. When asking a staff member for assistance, and expressing our concerns, we were continuously told, "well, my recommendation is. (that you don't buy this tv and you buy another more expensive one) " He had no respect for our budget or for simply answering our questions, instead, he avoided answering us and tried to upsell. My partner informed him that while we appreciated his opinion, we are paying for a television and we wanted reassurance that it will do what we wanted it to do. The sales person called another staff member over who didn't offer further help, and instead, told us that if other reviews online said it was fit for the purpose we wanted it for, then it must be. We ended up leaving without purchasing the television, receiving a clear answer from them was like drawing blood from a stone. We will now be purchasing our television elsewhere. If the staff members were as interested in answering our questions and concerns clearly and respectfully, as they were in the grand final, they may have received another sale today.

We have recently built a new home and purchased all our appliances through Frank. He was incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond for us. Fantastic customer service from both Frank and Amy and they were so helpful answering all our questions.

Don't expect they will adhere to the 2-5 day business delivery time stated on the website during checkout. I am currently on day 9 business day and was never contacted or informed of any delay until I called the store in which the item was in stock at to find out what was going on with my order a week and a half after my purchase. I was told that it is "a busy time for stock take" which honestly is not my problem, you state 2-5 days for delivery during checkout you expect a delivery in 2-5 days. No compensation or free delivery offered. Poor service and weak excuses over the phone. Will think twice before I order here again.

We went in to buy a vacuum. We were ambushed by an over zealous sales person and after several “no thank you” “we’re just browsing” “we’re not interested” conversations we left. We went to JB Hi-Fi across the road and purchased the same model there. Maybe your sales people could used some social etiquette training.

We went into Waurn Pomds Harvey Norman to purchase some items today. We had a issue with a gift card that we should have received from the Ballarat store. I cannot thank Trish and Skyla in electrical enough for going above and beyond to help us. You two ladies were amazing, thank you.

Took our coffee machine in for warranty, the ladies were very helpful and assisted us so that it could be sent away and be attended to. Great after sales service you don't see often!

Id like to leave a 5 star or even 10 star review if I could for one of your employees Kiana @ your waurn ponds store who was a absolute delight who gave me 110% customer care service today. Her patients, understanding, in helping me produce a Photo book in store today as a B’Day gift for my son. We worked together preparing the photo book & also assisted me in lay outs & “this photo look great Full Page” “let’s pop these 2 together”, she even took the extra time more than once double checking with me & how it would look like once printed. I’m am So So pleased with how it’s turned out.
Her customer service was exemplary, not a lot of that around during these Tuff times of late.

I’m based in Melbourne, but nonetheless I always call Rosie in kitchens WaurnPonds whenever I need anything from Harvey Norman. She offers the best service, great prices and a hassle free experience - even organising cheap delivery to Melbourne. Do yourself a favour and deal with Rosie for any of your needs - you won’t be disappointed. She is a superstar.
