MAKE SURE TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING WHAT THEY SAYS YOU in VERBAL, that’s just to sell. Ones it’s comes to warranty, then they pull up company law books.

I originally went in to purchase a mobile phone since Harvey Norman were running a special deal with Samsung phones. The first sales person was not too familiar with the product but then the manager (Sasan) and another salesperson (Fadel) stepped in and were great with their expertise. Sasan sourced the phone that I was after from NSW and had it sent down at no extra cost. I also purchased another phone for my wife and also one for her mother. The other sales people (Ender and David) was so informative and helpful especially when it came to backing up and setting up the phones.
I will be going back there for any future mobile phone purchases.

Worst place to shop bad customer service & the store manager is a racist bogan very rude don't go to this place shop else where.

Came here interested in purchasing some kitchen items. Very difficult to find a staff member to assist. Felt lost and claustrophobic among the narrow isles of fridges that are so tightly put together. When we finally got the attention of staff, they didn't seem to have much knowledge on the products, however was able to find someone who did. Unfortunately lots of waiting around.
Just a very average experience

I went to Harvey Norman Thomastown to buy few items
Barbecue, small fridge, mini Fridge, pressure cooker and an iron.
60 months interest free, for every $1000 you spend you get $100 back.
After I selected my items through different sales staff and when I wanted to claim my rebate oh you can't get it because we are seperat businesses.
I said what do you mean I'm buying from Harvey Norman.
So I drove across the Road and bought my fridges from the Good Guys

Great customer service, very friendly, honest and did not try to pressure us into a sale. Very satisfied.

Ordered through Harvey Norman Thomastown because of a surprisingly lower price on the product I purchased. Unfortunately the customer service was not that great. I waited for 20 mins, tired after work, watched someone come & instantly get served halfway through my long wait (definitely clicked to say I arrived) and I was ignored. I had to ring to get an attendant, by the time they'd almost closed to finally receive my purchase.

I'd like to say a big thank you to firstly Vitto for selling me my Refrigerator, secondly a big thank you to Violet who went above and beyond to get the product to me sooner than promised, she did a fantastic job for me. I have purchased quite a lot from this store and would recommend it to anyone, the service is excellent, thank you, also a huge thank you to the delivery man Max, he was unbelievably kind and helpfull, thank you Max

The 2 guys I have seen in the hearing dept and fridge dept were fantastic. Took their time to completely explain things and made decisions easy. I was impressed with their efforts to answer even what most would consider silly questions. Good stuff.

Wanted a new fridge with warranty and delivery. Peter was superb. He was very helpful. To the point, no tricks and did a great deal. Thanks to Peter.

I got delivered a damaged dinning table, and after i spoke with him, he did the best, acted as a real manager and solved my problem asap by organizing a replacement.

Staff super friendly, was seen quickly and deferred to knowledgable staff in the area I needed. Knew their products, I trusted their opinion and the purchase was quick n easy.

I have had shopping there and the service was good, but once I was browsing in Electrical section, one staff approached me and wanted to help, but was not friendly at all.

I had to exchange a TV under warranty. When I went in to make the exchange the customer service was top notch. The process was easy and done very quickly and they carried the new tv to my car. Thanks.

I went in today to look at some dishwashers and noticed a Chinese lady who asked the sales assistant for help. The person was so rude to her, the tone and attitude of this person telling her that he is busy and will attend to her next. I did not appreciate witnessing this kind of behaviour. The sales assistant was of Indian heritage and wore glasses

I popped in to purchase a coffee table and from the get go Pav and Tony went above and beyond to help me find the right height, color and stock availability. They really showed that they care about customers satisfaction more than just a sale. Thanks so much guys!

Great variety of products, the service was slow, we had to wait 30 min before someone attended to us

Be careful when you go to buy electronic items from this store. Had a really bad experience a few days back. I went to buy a camera (Sony a6000). Just After made  the payment and i came out  from the shop and realised that the safety seal  of the camera box was broken, soon I went back to the store and asked the reason for that and they told me that they removed the seal to make sure all the items inside the box are available. Believing them I came out, Soon after got into the car, I checked the box to make sure everything is ok inside the package. Unfortunately I found that the battery of the camera is missing. Again I went to meet the sales person and asked what has happened to the battery. He got panicked and ran here and there to find new batterie. I told them I need a new package and they told me that's the only one camera left in the store and they promised me to provide a new battery for the camera. He went to the store room and came back with a small battery and he told me that this one is gonna fit my newly purchased camera. But it was not. That point I realised these people are using the accessory of the new electronic items and when they are going to sell those they do some tricky things to cover up those issues. There was one displayed item and he tried to remove the battery of that and tried to give me it.all this time i request a new camera or else i need my money back.then  this sales person said there is no refund facility on that day so no chance to return the money back.  I complained to his supervisor and he also tried to save him and finally he went away knowing that it's not gonna be an easy one.  These guys continuously asked me to  take that faulty camera with me, and refused to refund my money back.   So i went to meet the manager of the shop and explained what had happened.  After 20 minutes the manager came and agreed to return my money.  They ruined my entire day at this store. I went to buy a camera but not this kind of experience. These guys were so unprofessional and no one said sorry for their mistake.
Please be careful if you plan to buy any electronic items from this store.specially cameras.
