Hamid did an amazing job on a pair of boots that I purchased but couldn't wear because they were too tight in the calf. He added a strip of leather to the inside and they are now perfect and look like they were purchased that way.

Great service! I took a leather tote bag in with damaged leather straps and asked about getting the straps replaced (straps are detachable). Hamid was so lovely and said he could replace the straps, but recommended repairing the existing straps was an option that was far less expensive and would still give a great outcome. He did a great job - very good service and I was really happy to get a recommendation on a much less expensive option, thankyou!

I've been to Hamid Zapatero store twice in the past couple of months to fix my Acne boots and Pas Normal Studio Gloves and I've walked out more than satisfied with his service. Hamid is a first rate shoe maker. His work is precise, careful, beautiful and functional. His craftsmanship is faultless because of his attention to detail. He does not cut corners. He takes pride in his work, as he rightly should. He recently restored my favourite pair of boots and altered a new pair that I wouldn’t otherwise have been able to wear. I will return to him without hesitation for future work.

Excellent craftsmanship - two pairs of leather shoes were reconditioned including resoling, new leather heel inserts, new laces just the right length, and a thorough polish. He also sells adjustable shoe trees which are very easy to use and effective in keeping the shoes in shape. I highly recommend Hamid, especially if you have repairable leather shoes that you want to maintain and extend their lifespan.

I have been to Hamid three times and I can attest that he can turn his hand (capability) to almost anything - and successfully. The first thing I gave him was a pair of shoes naturally and he "recovered " my favourite pair of shows. Next he fixed the clasp on a bracelet of my sons. Then, I gave him my outdoor setting cover and you can see the results attached - brilliant job. If you need almost anything with stitching, or fixing of shoes, go and see Hamid, I can't recommend highly enough - he is a master craftsmen!

I brought in some light brown shoes stained with red wine. They had been that way for nearly two years, so I didn’t hold much hope they could be fixed. Hamid expertly washed and polished to a darker tone, so the stains have effectively vanished! I don’t wear formal shoes often so it was great to be able to get these fixed rather than have to buy a new pair. The reviews were right, and I would definitely return for any shoe repair job.
