We have taken so many shoes to Hamid to be repaired and soled, he does an incredible job every time! He is so accomodating and all of his work is done to perfection in efficient time. Would highly recommend his services to everyone.

I took my well worn RM's that haven't had a service in 4 years for a freshen up and Hamid restored my Chinchilla's back to brand new. Can't speak any more highly of the craftsmanship from Hamid, they came out looking amazing. Fiancé even commented they look better than out of the shop! Will be back regularly.

Had the most amazing experience with Hamid!
Bought a pair of heels around 2016 that in the store fitted perfectly. I was just some seconds with the shoes on! But as soon as I took home and had to wear it for a party, I realized the shoes started to flap from my foot when I walked and I couldn't wear it at all! And the shoes was there in my closed, unused.
Until I decided to find someone to custom made ankle stripes so, this way I could wear without problem! And than I found Hamid!
He was beyond my expectation! Looked like I bought the shoes already with the ankle stripes! So, so perfect and flawless job!

Truely wonderful service, I brought in a balenciaga belt to get more holes added in. He showed me the size of the hole before doing the belt, truely great craftsmanship and care with doing his work.
Highly recommend! I trust him to do repairs on any of my designer items. He didn’t charge me for the belt.

I've been taking my shoes to Hamid for a little while now, and he's the best around. He knows what he's about, always does an outstanding job, and is happy to talk about what you need. Don't go anywhere else, Hamid is the man - reasonable prices, excellent service, and always quick too.

I had a great experience with Hamid. Brought in an old pair of RM Williams boots that I'd picked up from a second-hand shop and he was able to tell me much about the shoe's history, how to look after them, how great a deal I'd gotten originally purchasing the shoe as well as restoring them to a brilliant condition. I have used Hamid multiple times, from repairing dress shoes to stretching work boots and the latest work was repairing & modifying some scuba diving boots. I work just a few shops down from this wonderful shop and have been in a few times to have little things done here and there such as changing a battery in my car key, adjusting belts and asking questions about repairing shoes. I have always been met with great service and great advice!

Hamid's work is excellent. Over the last 2 days he's repaired shoes and a dog collar for us. Repair of the shoes exceeded expectations as Hamid, in addition to doing the work we agreed to, also proactively managed to get rid of a crease that had formed across the front of one of the shoes.
We got the shoes back in perfect shape - like new. The dog collar was also like new. It was in pieces when we dropped it off. Our dog had been wearing the Masai beaded collar for 12 years and Hamid managed to fit a whole new backing to it. He also died the leather to match the beading. It's better now than when we bought it.

Hamid rescued a pair of leather shoes which I had nearly spoiled with a chemical spill which left ugly marks. He restored the leather perfectly so that there are no signs left of my silly accident. He also took the time to give me other advice about caring for leather shoes in general. Thank you Hamid for your expertise and fantastic customer service!

Hamid is not just a master cobbler, he is a wizard. I have a pair of RM Williams boots that lasted all of 29 days before I put a large knick in the leather. I sent them to RM Williams for fixing and they did a botched job, looked awful. They didn't charge me but they arguably made it more difficult for Hamid. Took them to Mr Zapatero and the fix is almost invisible. You wouldn't know it was there unless I told you. Will be bringing him all my leather goods from now on, he loves a challenge!

I brought my YSL sandals to get fixed as the strap broke and Hamid put fixed them, put soles on them and polished them. They look like brand new again!

I took a well worn pair of RM Williams to be re-heeled. I expected to be without them for a week or so, however Hamid managed to have them repaired and polished in half a day! I am delighted with the boots, they look brand new. Hamid is a very friendly gentleman. I would be glad to give him my business again and I will be recommending him to family & friends.

Hamid is an exceptional, old-school, craftsman, and a lovely human being. He repaired our classic Tessa leather sofa cushion and transformed what looked like hopeless damage (not only torn along the line of stitching but also torn diagonally across the face of the cushion) into an almost invisible repair. From very positive past experience I knew that the repair would be excellent but it was even better than I expected! Hamid goes above and beyond in his work, gives thoughtful and honest advice, and is a real pleasure to engage with - a true mensch!
