In the 13 years I've been coming here I swear the prices have never increased. My local! Tasty food, the home made beef sausage rolls are number 1 in Melbourne! Cake and delicious coffee. Also vegan/paleo/gluten and vegetarian options!

A great variety of cakes and muffins and savoury, all very reasonably priced. Because they are so busy, coffee is hit and miss. I asked for extra hot coffee and the order was not passed onto the barister. He offered to make another coffee and it was also lukewarm just like the original one. They don't always get the order correct.

Omg I absolutely love their Passionfruit sponge cake and the tomato & prosciutto frittata ️ Unfortunately I prefer to order rather than going there as it is always so busy. Well done guys!

Is this a not for profit organisation? I don't understand how it's so cheap! I can get 2 courses and a coffee cheaper than 1 meal elsewhere!

I love the cakes here! There are so many options, and everything I’ve tried is delicious. The savoury options are great too, I can’t wait for lockdown to end so I can come back in to dine in. The place is quite small and it can be a bit tricky to choose what you’d like especially since people line up in front of the food window.

Been ordering pies and coffee from here for years, amazing service and tasty food. Highly recommend the chicken and leak pie, the salmon quiche or really anything out of the cabinet. A brunswick icon!

Food is good and cheap, but the coffee is mediocre and the service is PAINFULLY slow. Be prepared to wait a long time for the simplest of orders.

Such a lovely place. Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely staff. Might be a little cramped for some but we enjoyed it.

We ordered the steak pie and the burger on the specials menu.

The pie was ok on its own but delicious with the tomato relish. The burger was good but overdone. A slightly thinner burger that wasn't overcooked would have been much better. Good fixin's on the burger.

We'll be coming back and trying more things so I'll update after.

I had a Benny burger and banana milk shake, both were extremely delicious and staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately very busy for breakfast but worth the wait.

Tasty homemade food and pastry, smells amazing as soon as I walk in the cafe, not a lot of cafes do frittata.

Their homemade cakes pies, pastries salads and lasagna are made with love. Always very busy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Always a favourite of mine

I love the vegan options, especially salads and muffins. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone; worth it!

Great environment, cakes are fairly overrated though. Sickeningly sweet. Service is great and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Haven't tried the coffee yet- will update when I do.

I usually by food to take away and you can just tell it's always made with dedication and good quality ingredients.
They have a wide range of options in their menu and everything I have had has been great, salads are definitely worth a try.
I'd strongly recommend this place to enjoy a good book or a nice long chat lunch with a friend.
The space inside is cosy and has a "home" kinda vibe, although if it's sunny you'd definitely love a table outside in their green space.
I have stayed for lunch a couple of times, the first time they forgot my coffee and the second time they forgot to add chicken in my chicken salad but the chef and the staff sorted it all out in record time which was very much appreciated.
