Giant Invitations

I just wanted to say that as you can imagine working with Giant Invitations I was anxious as I was working via phone calls and emails to get the perfect wedding invitation (I live in WA). I wanted a particular style and finish that was a little different to what thay had sent in samples, so was relying on the fact that Giant Invitations understood my vision and what we I was wanting through these calls and texts.

When the invites arrived again was a little anxious and to be honest did not tell my daughter (who's wedding it is) that they had arrived, but when I opened the box and saw the invitations I was thrilled, Giant Invitations were able to produce what it was we were wanting. The invitations are absolutely beautiful and my daughter is so happy with them,

Horrible experience with this company. Their website promises a quick turn around, yet it took 6 weeks for the invitations to be sent out. This was due to their ridiculous editing process where you can send in changes to be made, though don’t be fooled because for the most part whoever is on the other side can’t follow simple instructions meaning you go back and forth with them for days until they eventually get it right. Then once this tedious process is over, you get a call from the owner a day before they’re to be sent out saying that the set you ordered don’t match at all. Though since it took 6 weeks for these invitations to be made, you don’t have the time to go through the process again so you have to put up with it. Then when you demand a refund, you’re offered 30% but instead of this being processed when offered you’re still waiting after 9 weeks for it to arrive in your bank account. Every time you try to call they say ‘we will call back’ and then never return the call, or when asking for the owner he’s conveniently not available. Do not waste your money on this company, they will amplify your pre-wedding stress by a thousand!

Ordered some wedding invitations from Giant Invitations recently. The invitations came really fast and the editing process was super speedy and effective. They look stunning. The quality is also great for the price you pay its really great. I would order again and recommend if you are wanting beautiful expensive looking invitations at a great price point. Thank you:)!

I ordered our wedding invitations and was so happy with the service and quick turn around even during Victoria's lockdown! Any amendments were made quickly and the invitations are beyond beautiful! I have received so many compliments! Definitely would order again!

I've emailed your customer service twice and no response.you actually replied to my review before responding to my emails. ORDER NUMBER 52015 - if you don't resend it today just issue a refund.

Ordered a sample three weeks ago, still nothing, and no communication. The only positive thing to come of this is that we now know NOT to use this company for the real invitations.

Really lovely design and quality. I was thrilled with the invitations for my daughter's christening.

Do not waste your time & money on wedding invites at Giant Invitations. Our wedding invites were not ready by the set time they had promised. When they finally arrived we were missing half the order. They forget to send us our RSVP cards & wishing wells. The next mistake was sending us wrong sized envelopes. Our RSVP cards were all cut crooked and most of responses have been lost in the mail, due to cards being printed in very small & faint ink. I would NOT recommend using Giant Invitations due to their poor service & sloppy printing of cards.

Ordered my wedding invites here and will never be using this business again. Received zero communication when my order was delayed, had to call myself to be told it hadn’t even been started yet. I was then promised it would be done in a week, a week later I have to call again, to be told they were not able to get it done as they had promised. Whole process took over a month though “speedy service” was advertised. No professionalism, carelessness and mistakes with spelling of our names, owner is arrogant and did not accept any responsibility when this was raised. Simply kept putting me on hold to accept new business calls. Couldnt complete my order on time and barely had the resources to do it as the ink I ordered was not available for weeks but didn’t have a problem taking new business on as he only cares about the money. An example of a business that puts quantity of orders before quality of orders.

Amazing experience with Giant invitations. Attila and Katerina were amazing and super responsive. My wedding invitations needed to be changed multiple times and they were happy to change it every single time. Amazing service + very responsive. Not to mention the invitations were great quality. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunate experience.

We experienced a series of disappointing mishaps with the team at Giant that have ultimately resulted in them keeping our money without delivering a product to us. I'm sure there is a word for that.

We loved the sample pack and fact that you could apply that purchase to your ultimate order. After a bit of back and forth with the designer we arrived at a lovely design, only to discover when we printed a test that the text would be unreadable at the suggested size. The manager to his credit was quick to fix the sizing and off we went with our order (Save the Dates and Printed Envelopes). A couple of weeks later we collected the invite only to discover that the printed card was a different colour to our approved proof and the sample that we had really liked. We live interstate but are regularly in Melbourne so we visited the showroom to discuss, again to the managers credit he was quick to recognise the error and offer to reprint.

A couple of weeks passed and the delivery of new invites arrived (remember previously we had purchased printed matching envelopes) - when this batch arrived they had been cut incorrectly and didn't fit in the envelopes. Seriously. At this point the level of service shifted dramatically, the manager asked my partner 'what would you like me to do? Fire my staff? '. The manager seemed unable to understand why we were upset that the product was incorrect (again!), noting that it had taken around 2 months to get to this point. As you may imagine we lost confidence in Giant at this point and did not want to be committed to them for further wedding stationary so requested a refund. The refund was agreed in writing (although the manager later emailed me to tell me he would be subtracting design costs) and we agreed to return the invitations. With a lack of trust at this point I was sure to use a tracked courier delivery. As I'm not at the other end of the delivery I'm not too sure how they never got delivered, but at last check they are still sitting at a local delivery point not collected. The manager stopped returning calls and emails, choosing instead to ignore me.

Unfortunately soon after this COVID-19 caused most things to grind to a halt and I sympathise with the business generally, but remain disappointed at our treatment. We've since gone with a small independent printer and have been well looked after. Giant invitations kept our money, I guess I just have to consider it a charitable donation at this point and wish them all the best.

My fiancee bought our wedding invitations from Giant Invitations on the 13th of February. We bought one of their most expensive invitation packages available and we were told it be about 8 - 10 days to receive the invitations.

2 weeks later and we hadn't heard anything, so I had to contact the owner only to be told there were delays as it was a busy time of the year. So I accepted that and moved on.

However there kept being more and more delays, and then when the invitations did arrive to them, they had ordered the wrong colour! The owner blamed it on the printer's which I thought was wrong - as the owner, he should take the responsibility.

After a number of fairly strongly worded emails from me, they were finally delivered out to my fiancee 27 days after we had ordered them. On their website it says they have "speedy delivery", that certainly wasn't our experience.

However, the invitations themselves looked beautiful and we were really happy with the end result!

They just needed to communicate better with us and given the number of bungles that were made, I expected we may get a slight discount to make up for it, but instead we were offered a 10% discount on any other additional items we bought with Giant Invitations which was just laughable.

So maybe we were just unlucky and they are much better than what we experienced, however the owner needs to handle situations like these much better, with more communication and also not using an offensive "buy more stuff from us and we'll give you 10% off" as a remedy for all the mistakes and delays.

I don't usually like writing negative reviews about businesses, and I'm sure they're all nice people but in this case I had to make an exception as we expected much better for the amount of money we paid.

Quite simply the best invitations you will ever find. Do not waste your time, go straight to Giant Invitations. The quality, prices and uniqueness of their products are unparalleled.

Our invitations are beautiful. The process to select, edit and review was effortless. I made changes after I had already submitted my order (adding RSVP cards and printing addresses on the envelopes) and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the final product was exactly what I had envisioned. Easy to deal with and turned out exceptional.
