Ghazal Indian Buffet & Bar Tarneit, Wyndham Vale & Point Cook - Takeaway, Pickup or Online order

We made a reservation via "FORK" reservation site to celebrate our 10th anniversary today over lunch. Upon reservation i received a confirmation email in return. When arrived at the restaurant the lady waitress informed its a private function today and not open to public. After sighting my Confirmed reservation email - She offered us to dine however at the times of the private function. 12.30pm the entree's and 2pm the lunch. Our party comprised of 2 under 5 and a 70 year old. It was rather disappointing Restaurant wasn't managing their reservations via other sites and have no control over confirmations. We ended up having lunch at a different restaurant as we were not ready to wait till 2pm for mains.

We made a booking and we were not told the place was booked out for a birthday party. Which is not a problem, however within 20 mins of us arriving the venue started playing blaring music that was so loud we could hardly hardly hear each otter talk. The restaurant should have told us about the boking beforehand. We had to leave without finishing our food as it was unbearable and had to pay the whole bill even though we had not eaten our main courses. Very poor indeed and the front staff were not at all friendly even after we complained about the situation.

Very bad service food was ok we attended a party there on 1st of may 2021 there was a 1 lady she was very rude with kids didn’t like her behaviour at all. If she has problem with kids then she should write down on door that kids are not allowed in restaurant, very tight sitting too much chairs and less space cant walk around, that’s ok but we can’t go this kind of restaurant where they are very rude with kids.

Did online table booking.got confirmation by mail but when reached there was no booking and they don't book online. Nd they don't even care to remove from online.
I choose wrong place for my special day.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been in Melbourne. Gazal has become our monthly outing. It is the one of the few Indian buffet restaurants in Melbourne.

Horrible Experience! Pathetic & Inedible Food

We called to enquire about timings and good offered in buffet. We are promised Chilli Chicken and chicken Tikka apart from other vegetarian starters. We are told to be there by 8: 30 at restaurant since it was supposed to be closed by 10: 00 PM.
We were there by 8: 30. First order was served by 9 and was only vegetarian starters. We were informed that there is only one Chicken starter. When it was finally served at around 9: 30. It was smelling and was inedible. One of our friend almost puked by the smell.
Other dishes served as part of main course were also pathetic.

We left hungry and frustrated. What we understand from waitress is Chef (insult to the word itself) was not ready to accept and said it is good chicken and there is nothing wrong with it.

There were only 2 group sitting time entire evening in weekday and both returned dishes. Desert was supposed to be served after 10 PM, which we never got. In all honest, we were told to the desert was about to be served but we were impatient to get out since it was already 10: 10 PM.

Worst experience ever in Melbourne!

I am a foodie. Few weeks ago I had my worst food and service experience at Ghazal.

Its a shame that in such competitive environment you have a restaurant that operates at this level.

Better to spend on food truck than this so called fine dining restaurant.

Came first time here for dinner, it was good time with friends. Ambience is good, hospitality was superb, Quantity of dishes was mind blowing, Goat curry was great chicken drumsticks was above average.

Worst experience ever.the staff is worst chef is even worse.they tell initially one menu and change the menu as there wish for the buffet.dont even care for there customers

Buffet is good and the waitresses on the floor are very responsive, and efficient, though they were very busy considering the crowd. Highly recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff. Yummy food. Great variety in buffet. Make sure u bring an appetite to make your $$ worth.

Visited after 8 months after lockdown to support a local business but entre werent prepared. Staff handled it very well being just by themselve.
Unfortunately this will be our last visit to this place. It used to be amazing with always happy staff but something is amiss.

Total waste of money. The food was horrible. We ordered chole bhature, lacha paratha, tandoori roti and kadai paneer. Lacha paratha was raw dough and not properly cooked. The kadai paneer was watery and tasted like a pressure cooker cooked indian vegetable curry. Chole were undercooked as well. The food didn't have any richness of taste and flavour which north Indian food is famous for. I have the pics of the food in case you need it.

The only half decent thing were the bhaturas. Chutney and pickle were good. Will never order from here nor will refer it to anyone. PLEASE HIRE A CHEF!

Went here few years ago, the food was great.
But went here to a party. The food was terrible and disgusting. Cold and tasteless food. Had stomach ache after eating.
They are serving last nights buffet leftovers to the party.
I was amazed how come they can serve 8 entree and 8 mains at a price of 3 (overview from other Indian restaurants), now i got my answer!
The floor is not safe for kids, they have stairs up and down, which makes very unsafe for everyone.
Never going here again.

Complete wastage of money
I have been thinking about trying this restaurant and it was my bad luck I selected my birthday for this terrible mistake.
They dont know the difference between starters and indian street food. Starters were samosa, pakoda, papdi and aloo tikki. Everything oily and taste less.
In mains Daal was good. Malai kofta and paneer was below average.
Gajar Halwa in literal words were boiled carrots with sugar. No khoya and dry fruits at all. Kheer was ok. Gulabjamun was fine.

Delicious Chicken Curry! Great chicken Curry and Nan bread. Popular for local Indians. Price is reasonable too. Recommend.

I have literally fallen in love with this place I think it is a great place prices are very reasonable I will definitely come here again I think that it is a place that I will always come to

Had a bad experience yesterday we ordered 3 curries and roti but roti was not up to the mark as it became so hard that we even can't eat and chicken curry was filled with water no taste indeed. It is a total waste of money.

Goat curry and butter chicken was taste less and Sweet like honey
