I would not recommend ghazal for anyone seeking a private function, especially for a special occasion. The lack of transparency and respect for our booking agreement significantly marred our experience.

Worst food ever, don’t waste your money on food, as per website 6 started when we enter it’s only salad, rice, 2 curry & halwa - seriously spend $26 on this, better have quality food somewhere with small portion. We had second time worst food experience so I decide to share this.
Better have food on small food stall which has better quality then this.
Butter Paneer - complete sweet & water
Kofta- not even stranded quality / my kid make better then this
Naan- all crispy & broken,
Rice - test old & cook since morning

I went to celebrate my anniversary there. That was the worst buffet I had in my life. Each and everything were tasteless flavour less, No wonder that restaurant was empty on Friday night, nobody want to waste there money and time. Never recommend to any Indian food lovers.

One of the much worst food we had in Melbourne. We wasted almost $70 for two people nothing is tasty, butter chicken is half cooked & over sweet, veg manchurian tastes like dough with veggies, gajjar halwa be like carrot and kowa without ghee and sugar. My hard earned got wasted without any food satisfaction. Don’t explore this restaurant at any cost unless you have more money to waste.

Food and service both are amazing. The place for dine in is very nice and quite. People will love to spend some quality time in there. Staff is also very nice

I wasn't too impressed that the website says theres 7 entrees, 8 curries and 3 desserts but there was nowhere near that amount of food on offer. Yet we still had to pay full price per person.
The food that was on offer was nice tho, would have liked a milder option of something. The younger kids found everything too spicy.
Website also states it's $24.90 to eat on a weeknight and $26.90 fri, sat, sun but theres a piece of paper on the door stating it's nearly $28 for a weeknight and more for the fri, sat and sun. Which wouldn't have been a problem if all the food advertised was on offer.

I was a regular customer pre covid and had previously given 5 stars. I went there again today and looks like its under new ownership. Buffet barely had any food. Rice ran out multiple times. The number of type of food was way less then pre covid. Starters were very blend. Only 1 desert option. Very very disappointing experience. Would not recommend at all.

There's meant to be 3 dessert but there was only one. There was nothing for the kids to eat because everything was spicy and chilli. And there was not much food there.

We have booked the table for 20people and everything was organised at the restaurant. As soon as we enter we found an engagement going on at the restaurant. It was very disappointing to see an event going on while we booked to have a private space and sadly it was my birthday. I felt very bad being in that situation, I was not at all informed about the engagement with the loud music. I could barely hear to anything that my friends talk. I can’t accept this kind of service atleast clear communication about the engagement would be appreciated.

Absolutely gutted and appalled by the quality of food they serve here. I don’t understand how the owners let the food quality deplete to this level. There were around the 8 of us and wanted to try the buffet, but we may as well have pooled our money and made a bonfire of it. Stale, tasteless chicken drumsticks, soggy chilli chicken, stale papdi chaat and the worst of it was the biryani. It was really fried rice with chicken that had almost gone off. Of course it was made with Shaan packaged masala and cheap quality ingredients! The butter chicken looked and tasted like my Fanta soda, the colour and taste was the same - extremely sweet and overpowering, was 100 percent made with some sort of a packaged curry sauce. Seriously guys up your game! Disgusting.

Brilliant! Excellent service, very helpful when we asked about gluten free food, place was tidy and food was hot. Never had an Indian buffet before but it was awesome! Loved the fish bites especially. My daughter loved the party that was on too and joined in with their dancing.

After booking for a group of 5 families a month in advance, they managed to send confirmation to a wrong number & just cancelled our booking without notice. Then they were completely rude & did not do anything to fix their mistake. We had to find another location in the last minute. Can’t recommend this place! Management needs to prioritise customer service given all the bad reviews.

If you looking to block a date for a function, and if they say yes they have blocked it for you, don’t trust them.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to, reservation was confirmed however when we went to the restaurant there was a birthday party and staff mentioned no reservation under my name. But later on they found out reservation was there. Music was too loud.
If you want to have a peaceful family outing dont ever go to this place. There is nothing good about this place. Worst food, staff, ambiance etc. Not recommending at all.

We had the buffet on Fri, but it seems the restaurant wasn't ready for more customers as there were variety of food but most of the food got finished when we came, and we were given fried chicken instead of tandoori. Would prefer next time, more snacks and preparation.

Best place to visit food is very good highly recommend lady (aman) at counter she is very nice and professional.

Yesterday we went to celebrate an occasion with 27 people by booking in advance. While we were enjoying our gathering and started with our dinner, restaurant started playing extremely loud music for some other group. The volume was extremely loud louder then any pubs & DJ parties we have ever been. We requested to turn the volume down but manageable kept on arguing with us.

The worst experience I've ever had with restaurants. We wanted to eat out after a long day and we called these guys to check if we could come in. We were told that it is buffet and we could come in after 7.30pm anytime. So we reached there with two young kids tired and sleeping. AND. TO OUR SURPRISEWE HEAR A VERY EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC FROM A PUNJABI PARTY. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE MANAGEMENT WERE SO INCONSIDERATE TOWARDS OTHER CUSTOMERS. The music was really loud and annoying. The management needs to think of other costumers else BE FRANK ENOUGH TO SAY "SORRY WE ARE BOOKED". Food wasn't great. Overall, I won't recommend such a place to ever again.
