Called to check stock on an amp I was interested in & spoke to Isabella, she checked for me & I went in later that day to pick it up, met Isabella & she was great, pulled the amp from the storeroom for me, paid & was on my way

Super helpful. I'm returning to gigging after taking 15 years off, and I needed a lot of catching up with my gear knowledge. They patiently answered everything.

We came in to buy my daughter’s first electric guitar and the service we received from Maz was outstanding. She totally got where my daughter was coming from and sorted her out with everything she needed; even found a spare bag out the back and gave us a tip on a girls rock program. In fact everyone we interacted with that day was great.

Really glad I bought my guitar from here. Excellent service and communication and fast delivery. They even converted the guitar to left handed. Highly recommend Macron Music.

Fantastic service by Luc. She was knowledgeable and even help demo the guitar even though we were not buying an expensive one.

Went in intending to buy a Roland F-140R. The rep (Emmanuel, with my permission) upsold me to a Roland F701 in the same colour (white, which is somewhat hard to find) which cost marginally more but had way more features, better sounds and was much easier to drive. The rep also gave me a good deal on it after looking up what they were going for online.

The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The shop is quite well stocked, considering we're in the middle of a pandemic. Definitely would consider again for a major music purchase.

Recently bought an amp at Macron Music, fantastic range of gear. Anthony was fantastic in allowing us to feel comfortable and never pressured when trying out gear. Looking forward to the next visit, thanks!

1st time- I online shopped with delivery.fantastic prices, free delivery and overnight postage. Awesome service.
2nd time: click and collect so I could check the shop out. Awesome, what a range of music gear, especially drum stuff. If only had the spare 17k for that rare DW set. Excellent service.

Friendly, helpful staff with wide knowledge. Took my guitars in to get restrung but will probably be heading back to buy some mics in the near future.

Hate to be the guy that leaves bad reviews online but this has left me sour:

Purchased guitar Sunday night, website said it was in stock.
Called Monday about a case, and the salesman said they'd have the guitar in the mail that afternoon.
Got a call Tuesday afternoon saying that they'd sold the guitar in store at the same time as I bought it, which is impossible seeing as I bought it late Sunday night and they aren't even open then.

Seems like too many music stores are doing this and it needs to stop.
If you have something advertised as in stock, have it in stock.
If someone has bought something that isn't in stock because of a system error, DON'T WAIT 48 HOURS TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER.

I'll never know the real story behind it but I suspect something like they sold the guitar on Monday, as the timelines just don't add up.

You're right, it's hard to believe you when you've told me a lot of misinformation:
Sunday the website saying the guitar was in stock
Monday your employee saying they're sending the guitar that day
Tuesday first employee saying they sold the guitar in store as I bought it

I should have been contacted Monday morning when you realised the item wasn't in stock. Now I have a case coming that I bought after Monday's confirmation that the item was coming in the mail.

First of all I would have given GH/Macron music a 5 stars.the instrument I purchased was set up beautifully and packaging was immaculate. The 2 star deduction was for the rooting around at Tullamarine Startrack depot.its like someone kicking you in the balls. Also salepersons need to understand that this.oh its not my responsibility Startrack is a third party attitude doesnt cut it. Unfortunately as a vendor it is your responsibility. Thanks

Best music store I've ever been to! Such brilliant service - I particularly love that they have women working on the floor, as you don't often see that in music retail. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Drove 2 hours out of my way to buy an accoustic guitar from this store, best decision I ever made, great staff, very friendly! Great quality instruments, huge array of choices.
