Wow.the serves were very small and so overpriced.food was lukewarm.so disappointed as we have always wanted to try Gaylords worried for the future of your business

Gaylord was a fantastic restaurant for a group function. Food was excellent, service was attentive and polite. Our whole group of 11 said we would book here again.

It's an average restaurant. Very clean and hygienic. Their food is good. The wait staff needs a bit more training. They always have ghevar listed on their menu we have been there thrice and on all these 3 occasions they did not have ghevar on all these 3 visits.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gaylord Indian Restaurant. To begin with the decor and ambience; It had a really casual yet neat vibe. Service was incredible with excellent staff welcoming us and checking on us throughout the night. Drinks were lovely and refreshing and had excellent presentation. Food was to-die-for and the presentation was superb. Would extremely recommend trying Gaylord's as it is a restaurant that I would absolutely return to.

The ambience and customer service is good. The drinks were amazing but the food not as good. The dungar chicken was hard and didn't have enough flavour but looked great. Naan breads were soft. Anjeer kofta and biryani were decent.

Visited them on a Valentine’s Day and was served with good food. Will go to them in future for sure. My partner is celiac, needed gluten free food and they took a good care of us, that is uncommon with certain ethnic restaurants.

Love Gaylord Indian Restaurant. Food is really good and presentation is superb! Friendly staff and grand atmosphere in the Grand Hotel.

The food, yummy. The decor, omg, love it so much. The colours, the velvet, the wall covering and pictures. Kitch and gorgeous. The service was great.

Such a lovely place

This was our fourth visit to our favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. It is perfect for a special occasion, with the beautiful and quite opulent dining room in one of Melbourne’s most magnificent old buildings (the former railway headquarters next try Southern Cross Station). The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable.

Below average service! Strictly okay food. Honestly keep low expectations. The manager was bit weird the way he dealt with our group. That is why we as a group won't be going to Gaylord again. Definitely will give this place a miss next time anyone suggests Gaylord

We ordered paneer starter with chicken and naan. Entree items are delicious whilst the curry didn’t really had the original taste. It’s has sweet flavour like butter chicken which wasn’t expected.
Cocktails weren’t upto the mark either.

Apart from that the staff and service is really good. The decor the place and the food presentation is 5/5.

Indian cuisine with a difference. Loved the flavours, the food and sweet dish was amazing. Excellent customer service! The chef ‍ knows what he is cooking not like any other curry house. Highly recommended and must visit restaurant in Melbourne CBD

A 2 min walk from Southern Cross, this restaurant is located at this really magnificent building. The ambience is wonderful, really gives a warm Indian feel. The food is yummm. Highly recommend the Kasundi fish entree. The service is prompt and top notch. The servers are polite and help you with the menu. Would definitely be visiting again!

Fantastic Indian food. Great flavours, high quality. Something for every dietary requirement, e.g. Gluten free, vegan, etc. Excellent service.
