Table of 8. Food was coming out over 45 min from the first dish to the last. Food was as usual, but service was lame.

Overpriced Mexican food and terrible service. Main meals were brought out so far apart it was pointless heading out to eat together.

Last night my friend hosted an Engagement party at Fonda on Chapel St on their beautiful rooftop bar. This hidden gem is a beautiful cozy, casual and fun place for an event. The event coordinator Lauren was exceptional to deal without throughout the event organizing process and excellent help on the day and the morning after with clean up. She was accommodating, professional and lead an excellent bar team who were slinging delicious drinks for the guests all night and serving fun and flavoursome finger food. We were able to bring our own desserts and cake which they served for us at no extra cost. It has a retractable roof which makes it all-weather friendly. I’d highly recommend Fonda Windsor for an event

The dining environment was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and they came in good portions. I really loved their house made strawberry mint soda and quesadilla!

Nachos came in different colours. The purple ones were super yummy!

Sides came out way before food. And everyone’s food came out at such different times. Bland

Enjoyed delicious food and beverages in a relaxed environment. Staff were friendly and accommodating (especially with my toddler) and bonus is there are so many gluten free options available. Will be back!

Feeling curious about this place since long time ago, when i finally tried It, i thought. Place looks nice, presentation is ok, service ok, but. The flavour? The food is very average i must say, 19$ for quesadillas than tasted like Frozen food. Dont take me wrong, the place is nice, also the service, they were very friendly, we ordered loaded nachos, tacos, chips, and quesadillas, and the best between all of them were the chips. Total 66$ for this meal. I wont recommend this place. Is missing the real latin flavour right here. Hope the owner read this, amigo.there is something called 'sofrito'. Google It, and try in your recetas.

First time and really enjoyed the good, service and staff were very friendly. Would go back.

I went to Fonda last weekend for a function on their rooftop bar. It was an amazing atmosphere and the girls behind the bar Lauren, Fleur and Ava were absolutely amazing. They delt with all the guests beautifully and made the experience ten times better. Thanks guys would 100% recommend Fonda and them.

Went for lunch. It was very quiet! We didn't mind, but I imagine when it's busy it would be very different.
Shared bowls, tacos and sweety potato chips and churros. ALL were great! So were the margaritas. Will be back

Modern Mexican. Perfect food. Tasty we'll put together and not overly messy!
Loved the atmosphere. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us and we're attentive enough.

Great place to catch up with friends. Busy atmosphere on a Saturday night so booking a must. Easy to order and pay individually by scanning menu. Delicious and reasonable priced food and drinks.

We had to change venues last minute due to the weather and i'm so glad we found Fonda! Ilana was so kind and helpful in finding us an appropriate venue and i'm so thankful to her. The staff at Windsor we're absolutely amazing! They kept checking in and making sure we were ok throughout. Took time to take some photos of us too. The food was amazing too! Thank you so much to all the staff We had an amazing time! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to do an event

The location is very cute and one of the drinks we ordered was quite nice. However the food was quite average.
In addition there was a really strong fish smell while we were there which put off my vegetarian partner.
If you’re not vegetarian and only going for drinks it might be a good place to grab a margarita.

Fonda folks are fantastic!

This weekend I had a booking for my partner's birthday Pokemon Party, and the Fonda staff could not have been any more accomodating or supportive!

Tayla and Dan were on the bar for our booking and they could not have been more considerate!
They were completely aware of our dietary requirements for nut allergies, every single bit of food the came out (which was delicious!) came with a beautiful run through of what-was-what and safe for who, with not a nut to be found anywhere!

Every single guest was thrilled with the spread and amazed at the quality of food.

Needless to say, Fonda made our day amazing!

Thanks again Tayla and Dan, you guys were fantastic, and thank you for take such great care of Tonya's brithday cake.

We all whole-heartedly recommend Fonda to anyone looking for great food, staff, enviroment and consideration at a venue.

Great food, especially the chicken salad bowl, though I felt it needed a bit more actual chicken! Disappointed that there was no coffee available to have with churros for afters. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. The staff were nice though and meals were served quickly.

Ordered a couple of burritos and nachos. Nachos came without any sauces even when I ordered extra sauces. And the last few times, the burritos have been undercooked. This time I was eating undercooked rice and almost broke my tooth. I don't have dental insurance man!

Disappointing! Gotta find a new Mexican Joint! ;)

Way too much spinach in the burrito. One half had no beef in it at all and was just spinach and beans. Very disappointed especially considering how expensive it is. My partner had the sweet potato burrito bowl and was really disappointed that there was barely any sweet potato in it. To top off the night when the server was clearing our table she splashed aloili all over my partners face and clothes and didn't apologise or even say anything and then we had to wait 30 mins for a takeaway container because all the servers seems to interested in talking to each other and laughing at the bar

Food was mid, not great, not very atuthentic. Do not recommend drinks here, it's better to have a drink on a near by bar.

Fonda used to have my favourite quesadillas but after tonight I doubt if I ever come back again. If you guys changed recipe, please bring the old one back
