Fast Mexican food. We came here on a weekday night and our food was brought out to us within 15 minutes of ordering. The shop uses a QR code to access the menu, order your food and to pay. Food was of good quality.

It was so delicious dinner and drinks for my friends and I.
The atmosphere of the music and the lights was spectacular.

My first time here, and I was very satisfied with the service and the food and drinks are so delish

Food was great but service was terrible. Had to follow-up for our food to come out. Waited 50 minutes for the last 2 dishes to come out. Dine in was mostly empty. Clearly prioritzing take away. Impressed by the how the store manager handled the situation who did offered a refund.

The quality of the food and service here is always consistent. Not expensive, fast service and a broad menu of Mexican staples. Good fit out - light and bright with plenty of booths

A decent place for mexican food. Enjoyed my prawn taco but personally think that the crispy cauliflower one was a little bit lacking of flavours. Quesadilla was decent. The star of the night for me was watermelon juice with lime - so gooooood! I will definitely come back just for this drink.

Truly recommend this restaurant, the food it’s really nice and the cocktails are awesome, I recommend coconut margarita the best one. Such a nice service, they are really kind, and faster. The Mannager was really good with us.

I had an amazing time eating at Fonda, starting from the amazing customer service from Sary and Jin, the ladies were lovely and very helpful at all times, their suggestions from the menu were on point.
The food was also beautiful, we had the pulled pork quesadilla and the prawns tacos in addition to the most amazing chili mango margarita. Popping with lots of flavour. Possibly the best drink I have ever had.

Nice casual experience, food came out very quickly, hot and tasty. Good value too.
The frozen cocktail wasn't that great but the margarita tasting flight was excellent. Ambience is like a fun diner with Formica tables etc.
Our table was at 8: 15 but they stopped taking orders through the app at 9pm which meant we couldn't have more than 1 drink. Wish they were open later!

I’ve had food from here so many times. Recently the service and food has been lacking, and my last experience, especially, was not a good one.

We placed an order for delivery and paid extra for one item to be made gluten free.

The order was delivered but the gluten free item was not labelled and so we couldn’t tell the gluten free item apart from the others. We tried calling the restaurant several times but phone kept ringing out.

We were extremely disappointed because one of us had no meal to enjoy.

A bit of attention to detail goes a long way.

An extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. There's not much wrong with the food but the ordering and payment system is designed to make the experience as difficult as possible for the customer. No cash, no split bills and ordering individually via your phone.

Was ok, place was clean and friendly, service was quick. Food was fresh, and flavour was ok, food just felt a little cold and personally I like a bit more spice and chilli.

We were a party of multiple people. Staff did their absolute best to accommodate us.

Food came out hot and fresh.
Fish tacos, chicken tacos and fried Cauliflower were great.
Quesadilla was amazing, burrito was not the best I had before.

Definitely recommend trying out some of the amazing cocktails on offer. Mango lime chilli was the best.

Amazing as always! I have been eating here for years now and its always delicious! Good vegetarian options too. Highly recommended!

My partner and I really enjoyed our experience. The lady that greeted us was very kind and we enjoyed the QR ordering system especially being able to see the pictures of each item. The cauliflower burrito, corn, and quesadillas were delicious and fresh. The beef brisket taco was a real highlight - out of this world!

Sary is the best employee in that place ever! Was an delicious lunch, accompanied with a couple of fantastic cocktails! And a great company? , thanks so much guys for such amazing service, THANKS HEAPS GUYS!

In the Melbourne Concierge community we uphold very high the tips and rumors of places to recommend. Upon a tip, I was told to check out 'La Fonda Mexican Restaurant on Smith St, Collingwood. Surely I tell you. I walk out of that restaurant very pleasingly pleased, the menu selection is huge, the drinks and cocktails are absolutely wonderful. I would like to add the personal touch of the staff. La Fonda is now among the best 10 restaurants to visit outside the CBD.

So, you like visitors. Okay, you Skype come here for the best nutritious, bad none. The cocktails are also nice.

Good Mexican food except they cancelled a similar second order which was served only after rest of table had finished their meal. And it wasn't even busy!
