A well laid attraction with plenty to look at. Very good value for money and would recommend to anyone to visit.

Very interesting, especially if you're into maritime things or general history. Good for photography.

Looks good considering it was built in the 70s. Would not recommend to anyone if there has been any rain, no matter how little. The cobble stone oaths you have to follow are slippery and there are no hand rails. They only other option is grass areas which are also slippery, especially those on a slope. This place is incredibly unsafe.

I took the family for the light show. I managed to book the 7 pm session. The show is decently good. It tells some maritime history and whale hunting stories around the Warrnambool area. The area is shaded so you do not need to worry about rain. The light show is decently good. It is a bit simple with a water fountain acts as the projector back drop. The history is very informative and educational. I think this is a decent place to visit.

Such a great place. I've been going there since I was a kid, and love it every time. I could easily spend most of a day there. There's so much history, and the people walking around in olden day clothes are so fun! Great place to go!

We didn't go into the "Village" its self as it is around $20 per adult. We thought that was a bit expensive. We looked around the gift shop where they had a balcony area that you can look over the Village.
We bought some lovely souvenirs, and the staff were very friendly.
It's a pity that there isn't a little coffee shop there.
It was a very windy day, glad that we had jackets with us.

After attending both a self guided walk through the village and the night show, I would not do the night show at all as it is a repeat of information viewed throughout the village. Also expected live show, not animated video and light show. Viewed the Coal River historical village and it was.much better and free.

Went with a group of friends and did not expect the night show to be that good to be honest. A lot of history behind Warrnambool and such a entertaining way to learn something new.

My kids love wandering around this place. Nice place to spend the day with fun activities for the kids to do and lots to learn and see. Nice tourist destination. If you are lucky you get to pat one of the Oddball type dogs.

We both really enjoyed the visit especially the old fortifications and the ability to go inside one of the lighthouses. We had plenty of time to walk around the village experiencing all that was on offer.

Well worth visiting when you're in Warrnambool, excellently presented sound and light show in the evening but one must book ahead, and be on time.
You get to wander through the village Area at night to go to the stage and it's Undercover.

We went during the week, great place to wander around but no one to ask questions about the various places. Only place manned was the lolly shop. Tea rooms also closed which was disappointing. Thankfully pippies next door was open for coffee. Possibly a place to visit on weekends or school holidays.

Really enjoyed the entry exhibition, artifacts and pictorial about the history of the shipwreck coast. The old village was well depicted of the time, not many visitors so we were able to read and delve into all that was on display and was fascinated at the crazy bravery of the old seafarers. Was however let down at the lack of working shops or people in period costume. This for me would have made Flagstaff hill feel like a real step back into old maritime warnambool.

Maree thank you for all your help today. You sent me in the right direction for tracing the Landmann family.

I use a walking stick, but still managed to see it all. Very Interesting and informative. Grandchildren loved it to. Well worth a visit

Our visit was lovely, grandchildren especially, loved feeding the ducks & turkey, little disappointed at the stock in gift shop, alot of generic souvenirs you can find elsewhere

Visited on a sunny winters day which was beautiful. We enjoyed perusing the displays, taking photos and learning about the rich maritime history of the area.
The sound and light display was good, however, we thoroughly recommend taking a cushion as the church pew style seating quickly gets very uncomfortable.

Really nice re-creation of life in the mid-1800s. The museum was great, with lots of artifacts. The mini workshops entertained lots of kids and was interactive. Cannons at the place were also quite interesting.
