Fedele's Ristorante Italiano

We were disappointed having not been to Fedeles since white cloths on tables and divine service from Italian waiters. Our waiter tonight was polite. The food and the menu was average. We think the owners need to take a trip down the road to Sette Bella for Italian food, service and quality. Fedeles has turned into an average family restaurant that has lost its polish and prices do not reflect the current standard.

Excellent food but they were late giving other people at out table their salmon dish. It was sitting there waiting for a while. We couldn't wait any longer as our food getting cold.
Otherwise extremely good food.

We had a work Christmas lunch at the restaurant. Was very noisy couldn't hear a thing, not much space at the table, so literally we were squashed (12 of us), food was fine, some of my colleagues had a mains to heavy on a garlic, but overall was good. If you never been to Italy, you would enjoy

24 Dec. The experience was the not the usual standard. Actually has been declining over the past year... Think its time for a revamp getting a bit tied and shabby. Food Quality was below standard... Service has also been on the decline. Doesn.t seem to be keeping up with surrounding Resturants offering better Food /Service for a more reasonable price.

This is not a fine dining restaurant although it acts like it is. Menu is very limited and the quality did not deliver to our expectations. All the mains were over seasoned. No pizza option which is surprising. Staff need to relax a bit more and be more personable i.e. It doesn't hurt to smile. There is a mismatch between what this place is trying to achieve and its execution.

Booked a table in advance for dinner, arrived only to find that they had neglected to actually write me in the reservation book. Fully booked and dimly lit when i got there.
Extra star because my date ended up being better because we went elsewhere.

Meals were okay, however not happy with their service, the food took one and half hour to come to our table, even though i booked the table in advance. I was expecting pepper and parmesan with my Risotto which was bland and kept waiting for it.

Service was poor. Food was tasteless or too salty. For an Italian restaurant, there is no pizza nor lasagna and the basic Italians foods.

Love the food here.good wine selection too, but not overly expensive. Great option for in the eastern suburbs

Food is nice. Only 1 waiter and 1 waitress. Waitress was attentive and busy but waiter seemed more interested in chatting with the waitress than actually providing service. Would be a great restaurant if it wasn't for the lacking service.

Worst food and worst staff ever, I would advise everyone to think tens of times before going there.

Have loved Fedeles in the past and have been going several times a year. Went there with friends last night and felt it had gone down hill. The waitress was polite however the food was very expensive and for the most part, far too rich. The lack of table clothes, lack of adequate heating and not even a complementary bread roll after spending $49 on 12 oysters which were far from appetising. The sauces were overkill and you couldn’t even taste the oysters. Would think twice before returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening st Fedele's. Staff were excellent and really gave us a lot of attention. Food was amazing, our table of four will certainly be returning to this restaurant.

Nice atmosphere for family. One dish was not likeable however the chef organised a replacement dish. Very considerate. Yummy food!

Not 100% happy with service my friends meal was cold and mine had more pasta than meat.
We were also neglected due to birthday parties

I have been here twice and can't say that the food was up to my expectation on both occasions. Service is OK. Its a licenced venue and there is ample room for a large party. Big car park outside is convenient too. Apart from that there is not much more that I can add.

Excellent food. Very good service even on a busy mother's day dinner. Had a minor issue which they rectified quickly. Will certainly return to this local favourite.

Incredible! I took my wife here for Mother's Day dinner, having never been here before. We absolutely loooooved our dinners. My wife got the rib eye and I got the totellini di Fedele. I would have to say that this was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten. Perfect in every way. Staff was very friendly and fun. Final bill came in around $50 than we would have expected. We cannot wait to come back!

Great restaurant in Glen Waverley service is good and so is the food
they changed hands a few years ago and now its better
we like going here would recommend

Subpar food with horrible service. We waited at least 20 minutes between each course and the food came out was barely palatable and in such small portions that we ended up going to Pancake Parlour afterwards for some real food. We also got no desserts. The people who waited on us were unfriendly and never eveb flashed a smile, speaking down to us when we asked questions about the menu, such as if we could substitute chips for mashed potato - a popular option that is available at any respectable restaurant, but not at Fedele's. Very disappointed with this restaurant, I'd never go back again.
