Fedele's Ristorante Italiano

Went to this restaurant on Friday 8th December for lunch with family and a friend which was a group of 5.
The service we received was absolutely atrocious and took 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our drinks order.
When asked why, the waiter replied I was just wandering around, not a good start.
We all then proceeded to order our mains and two hours later
we had still not received them after enquiring numerous times
where they were.
We also noticed that there was a bus group who were situated in the function room and obviously they seemed to get priority over everyone else in the main dining room, hence our very long delay.
We have been to this restaurant many times but what we experienced on this day was completely unacceptable as the food quality with all our meals was also way below the standard you would expect from a upper price restaurant.
We arrived at the restaurant at 12.15pm and left straight away after our main meal at 2.42pm.
We did not even contemplate ordering dessert as we didn't want to wait another hour to receive this.
Unfortunately for this restaurant the standards have dropped enormously both on food quality and service and we won't be
coming back.

Overpriced and underwhelming. The food was average, weird tasting arancini with a soy and mayo sauce - I love fusion but these were just wrong.
We had to send some dishes back that were cooked poorly and the chef and waitresses response was that it seemed fine - and that’s the problem, rubbery duck and mushy gnocchi, and a chef who thinks that’s acceptable. You can get better Italian food for better prices in better locations.
Not the place it used to be, don’t bother!

Family of 4 had dinner in Nov and we loved all the dishes. Kid friendly food offering exceptional value. Waiter Will was friendly and checked the gluten free options for us. I also tried 2 Italian wines and was exceptionally impressed. Thank you for a great experience.

Food is alright. Pity the wait time is horrendous and the servers didn't bother to update us when we asked them!

A fantastic restaurant with excellent staff! I went there alone for the first time being in an Italian restaurant. They keep checking on you and make you feel so comfortable:) thanks

Been here a couple times now with my partner. She absolutely loves the gnocchi. I've tried the steak, pasta, salmon, and lamb here and it's always delicious. There's a wide variety of entrees as well.

The menu is done very well. To the point every time I come back I find myself having a different but also consistently amazing experience.

All good but feel like bit overpriced. Good range for drinks nice atmosphere but food choices are limited.

Food takes forever to come
And the serving’s isn’t worth the price.
Customer service is pretty average since some servers can’t serve if that’s not their allocation during their shift.

New menu is delicious must try the swordfish, two tiny pieces but the flavour is there. Many fun cocktails to choose from

We came here for a date night really hoping to like it since it’s our closest Italian restaurant. However, there were several off-putting things about our meal which, combined, means we won’t be back:
1) None of the wait staff were wearing masks and our waiter was actually coughing while taking our order.
2) I ordered my steak medium and it most definitely came out rare.
3) The mixed veggies were too crisp and not cooked enough.
4) I found a hair in my food.
5) The waiter made a comment when I declined to order an alcoholic beverage which I found totally uncalled for.

A few good things:
1) Oysters were fresh and delicious.
2) The gnocchi was great.
3) Food arrived quite quickly (though possibly because some of it was undercooked!)

If you're a lover of Italian food like l am this is the perfect place to enjoy a perfect delicious meal with friends or just the two of you.

No toilet facilities on the premises. Ignored us for 5 minutes when we entered the restaurant. Waitress was unable to take our wine order as under age but then waited a further 8 minutes to get an order in. Had 2 lunch specials and ordered one. They came back 5 minutes later and said run out. Finished lunch but never got any service or asked if we wanted coffee or cake. Completely ignored by staff. Food was average and the staff non friendly

Food was nice, slow service for a lunch time, especially if you need to get back to the office.

We always enjoy visiting Fedele’s. The staff are friendly and the food choices are all delicious! Thank you team.

Great service, good wine and tasty food. Pricey but not outrageous, good sized portions meant we didn't have to visit macas on the way home.

Slow and inattentive staff. High prices not justified by small, dry portions. If you have money to burn then, by all means, throw it away here. But if you want value for money, give this place a miss. Not recommended.

Unfortunately not a good experience last night. We ordered entree but hadn’t yet decided on mains because we hadn’t caught up in a while and was enjoying chatting. We were promptly told by the female waiter that the kitchen prefers all the orders in at once so she will come back in two minutes and take our entire order. We then reiterated that we would like to just order the entree at that time. The male waiter was extremely loud and unfortunately smelt very heavily of cigarette smoke. He was serving clients behind us and they ordered or asked for the vegan options and he said no we don’t have any. He then told the clients unfortunately when people ring they get told there are vegan options but they’re actually isn’t any or very fee. We ordered our mains and the food was okay, nothing like the previous owners from quite a few years ago. We then waited more than half an hour for someone to take our desert order we had to flag a waitress down to do so. It is unfortunate that the waiting service let the restaurant down

We had pasta last night, it was salty, sour and not a good experience. Felt sick. All the starters were excellent. Staff were fantastic.
