Fedele's Ristorante Italiano

Fedele’s Ristorante is without doubt the pinnacle of fine Italian cuisine and service. From the moment we enter we are greeted with a smile and genuinely welcomed to our table as though we were visiting a dear friend.

Our table of 8 were blown away by the extensive Italian dishes to choose from, so we order the antipasti while we decided.a wonderful choice while we decided on entree and mains.

Choosing a single dish is difficult as there are so many traditional Italian masterpieces to choose from.there are pasta’s, risotto, duck, premium steak just to mention a few. I ordered the duck breast.it was magnificent in every way!

Then came deserts.you can not go past the tiramisu.to say it is the most magical experience would be an understatement.wow!

The espresso coffee is to die for. I’ve tried many coffees in this coffee capital of Australia Melbourne, but this blend at Fedele’s is amazing.

Food was beautiful, but corkage $20 per bottle that’s disgusting! It didn’t even have a cork it was a screw top! I wouldn’t go back on principle

The tortellini is like.heaven! I have enjoyed everything we have tried. Service is usually good there. Don't BYO though, it's a $20 fee! But they have a good drinks menu, amazing number of wines, to suit all budgets and tastes)
We went pre-covid, then became home delivery regulars in lockdown, then been back in person since. In restaurant or home delivered, both experiences have been exceptional.

Such an amazing experience with the team at Fedele’s on Christmas Day. The service was immaculate, food delicious and drinks divine. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant for Christmas Day in future and definitely will be back throughout the year. Cheers!

On 6th November this year, I had lunch with work colleges for my birthday, particularly good Service from staff and very enjoyable meal. (I am GF).

On 16 December I returned for dinner with my work colleges.
Service was poor, long waiting times for drinks and food. My complaint is about service or lack of. Our waiter did not respect the fact that I was GF not like 6 Nov. Was not interested in helping choose what could be made GF. I had an entrée of Prawns that consisted of one prawn cut in half long ways and each half place on a lettuce leaf, drizzled with sauce costing $18 for half a small prawn and one little lettuce leaf. I could not believe what I saw and I ordered another one as I was so hungry, same again, I was embarrassed and did not want to cause a scene in front of people.
Main meal consisted of bowl potatoes and bowl green vegetables to share.
Sweet was out of the question and was told sorbet or Cheese board cheese only, as nothing was GF.
Extremely disappointed came home hungry and sad after we spent $703.00 for 5 people.

The service was excellent. Prompt and friendly. Sat right away, had water on the table - everything very clean. Food came out all at the same time and they remembered the fresh chili which we had asked for. (Often places forget and I need to remind them). Food was wonderful. A bit on the pricier side, but not overly so.

Would definately go again. All four of us really enjoyed the food and overall experience. Well done.

Just had our first takeaway delivery from Fedeles and we congratulate them on providing as appetising and delicious Italian fare as has been served inside this "local old favourite" for so many years. Best wishes to management and crew in these difficult times.

Home delivery almost as good as dinner in the restaurant.
Food arrives on time, hot, delicious and well packaged.
After 3 orders we are inclined to wish the service would continue once the world returns to "normal'

A nice Italian restaurant with friendly staff. The menu offered a small selection, but sufficient to cover the more popular staples.
The gnocchi was excellent, full of flavour and well prepared. The tortellini was tasty and tender with mild flavours. The spaghetti marinara had mild flavours of seafood - could be better.
Great coffee to finish.

The calamari starter was soft and tasty, the rib eye steak was chewy and the duck dish was slightly dry

Went here on valentines day and ordered few of our favs. Starters were good but after that everthing was disappointing.

1. Bruchetta -awesome
2. Gnocchi - so so
3. Steam baby potatoes with olives -totally bland
4. Valentines special - souffle was undercooked, we could see egg white floating in it

Not a good experience!

Dissapointing service- staff didnt seem like they wanted to be there.not what weve experienced in the past.

Was here as part of a corporate function. Food is pretty decent and quite filling. Function room probably fits 30 people comfortably with a screen projector

Food was great, service was a little off - my friend’s drink was forgotten and they skipped her when they went around with parmesan cheese.but overall good experience.

The food was okay, the service was also okay. The tiramisu was below average. Overall my meal was expensive for what it was.

We will definitely be back, the service was amazing and the food was even better than that. Thank you to everyone that served us tonight.

Service was so slow! Food was expensive and I found it difficult to find anything on the menu to order for my tastes.

I wasn't totally disappointed by the food, but not impressed either. It wasn't something that would fetch me to it again. I loved the bruchetta.pastas were nice.steamed veggies were no good and dessert was disappointing for sure.

Great suburban Italian restaurant. Customer service is great. I come here at least once a month and the service and food is always top notch. Good atmosphere also.

This has been a reliable place for a few years now but unfortunately has recently seemed to change for the worse. Lots of the traditional italian dishes and the way they are cooked have disappeared. Octopus entree was bland and was returned. Service was good and they did what they could to make up but we'll skip fedeles for a while until they return to what made them great in the first place.
