Fantastic Services

I unfortunately had a bad experience with this company. They arrived and after looking around for a minute, decided that the apartment was too dirty and needed an extra $200 or they were walking out. All 8 people that helped move us out thought that was rediculous. I had no choice because we had to give the keys back the next day and I didn't have time to do it myself, having two children.
What's worse is that they did a terrible job and now I have to go back today and finish what I paid $600 for as the real estate wasn't happy, and we were told we would get no guarantee because it was too dirty.
This has been so stressful and despite our best efforts they refuse to acknowledge what we say when we send them a message, just deflecting around the issue.
I feel like this whole thing was a scam and so I am posting my first 1 star review.

Horrible experience - Use your real estates recommended cleaners instead!

**Edit 9/11/21 - The saga with this unprofessional company continues. We are now at 114 messages, they have low balled the cost of the repairs that I've had to pay, seemingly pulling a random number out of their minds twice. Despite providing them with a breakdown of the costs charged to me by a tradesmen to fix the wall they damaged.

I know I've already said do not use this company, but god help you if you do and experience a problem. This company's "customer service" will continually move the goal posts, change the information they want and conveniently ignore the information you provide them with.

I cannot begin to put into words how unpleasant the entire experience I have had with Fantastic services has been, from the cleaning all the way through to their "Customer service". I engaged Fantastic services to clean a property that I was renting. They charged $707 for an end of lease clean and spent over 8 hours cleaning the property. During this time the following issues occurred:
1) They damaged the wall in one of the bedrooms
2) They appear to have mopped the floor with dirty water as the floor was not cleaned and covered in dirty streak marks
3) They left streak marks on nearly every wall that they "Cleaned" to the point I believe they added more marks than were actually removed
4) Upon entry to the property the cleaner immediately told me that they couldn't guarantee my bond back due to the carpets age (the house is only a few years old) and the carpets were in fine condition during every inspection.
5) They ignored multiple sections of the house, including the Laundry, door frames & Skirting boards.

If the above wasn't bad enough, trying to actually get any help from their customer service team is a nightmare. They do not have a direct line you can call to speak to someone, you have to either use their App or email them. It has taken me over a month and 100 messages back and forth to even begin to get a resolution to this problem.

Their first resolution was to re-send the same cleaning team (only one of them turned up) after they had been "re-trained". The re-cleaning of the property only lasted 2 hours and none of the issues raised by my property agent or myself were actually addressed. Despite providing them with photographic evidence of the damage their cleaners caused, their resolution was to offer me a $30 voucher for future cleaning? !

Dealing with them has been so unpleasant, I really cannot express how much I would not recommend these cleaners to anyone. If you are moving out, use one of the cleaners that your property agents recommend. The ones my real-estate had to re-send (at an out of pocket cost to myself) were $500 cheaper than Fantastic Services and they actually cleaned the property to a level were it would pass an inspection (Fantastic services cleaning & re-cleaning failed two inspections with my real estate).

Absolutely over the moon with my beautiful clean oven and cooktop. Highly recommend Fantastic Ovens and Eranda who was very polite and happy. Janet Sth Melb.

Had my carpets cleaned by Shah which hadn't been done since moving in. He was polite and friendly. The appointment was scheduled at 1pm, but company informed me if it could be made earlier at 12 due to last minute unforeseen changes which was fine. He informed me he was running late, so ended up being at 1240. Communication was excellent. All good. Carpets came out looking fresh and clean.

Shah did a good job with our carpet and couch clean. Took his time and was very thorough. He was very polite and accommodating. Thank you.

Booked in for 2 hours of gardening. Booked for 8am. Received call at 5: 30pm is it still OK to come and asking what to do. Advised we just wanted to hours worth of maintenance. The gardener arrived and said the job was too big (not sure how, we just wanted two hours of work) and that we needed to pay for 3 hours minimum. The gardener left and we have been charged for a service not provided. I've tried several times to get the fee refunded and to cancel membership, but can only leave voice mails and no one will call back.: (

A great service and professional cleaning of windows! I highly recommended Fantastic Services. Eranda, the cleaner, was friendly and highly efficient.

DE ALVIS EDIRISINGHE and DINETH NURASHA were total pros and super polite the entire time they were here. Our lawn was totally overgrown and they had it looking better than it ever has in under two hours. Very efficient and informative the entire time, would definitely hire these two again!

Shah was great. He arrived on time, was courteous, efficient & did a great job on 3 carpets, sofa cleaning & my oven. He even cleaned the rug under the sofa for me that wasn’t on the list. I would be happy to have him come & clean again for me.

Worst ever cleaning service.cancelled the services 15 minutes before they were due to arrive.and now i have guests coming tomorrow and a dirty home.extremely poor and not recommended. Wish there would be a 0 star and i would happily give it to them.

Absolutely percent fabulous job very pleasant and polite, worked very hard with our oven, its like brand new. Carpets have come up great, smelling really fresh, would highly recommend Eranda, and will be a returning customer, thank you.

Ernda did an incredible job! He was so lovely this afternoon and even did an extra job on a space that I hadn't asked for. He also wiped down everything after and did all around a great job! Would definitely book him again if needed.

I requested handyman services late one day for early the next day, for an urgent furniture assembly job. The service was efficient and professional; the job was completed super quickly. Fantastic indeed!

Dineth was punctual, courteous and went above my expectations. He worked solidly for 2 hours and did not leave any litter behind. I highly recommend him and will be hiring his services in the future. Thank you so much for getting my garden ready for spring!

The pest control seemed to go alright initially with an explanation of what was done and what else needs to be done (i.e. Rodent exclusion). Was told a follow-up email would come with further steps but the email never came (I was told it would cost extra and even mentioned immediately I was willing to pay that and lock in the time as well). Found this pretty poor given the price paid is on the higher end for rodent eradication.
I later found out most companies include the rodent proofing/exclusion (if works are relatively minor) with the initial cost as well (this is on me as I didnt thoroughly research given I wanted to rid the problem). The company was quick to invoice but failed to follow-up.

Very disappointed with this service. $600+ for an end of lease clean for a 3 bedroom house, job not done sufficiently so had to arrange for them to return, looked like they hadn't even cleaned it, then informed we had to pay more for dishwasher to be cleaned on top of what we had already paid. To have to pay extra for all these add ons is ridiculous. An end of lease clean should include everything. Will not be using this service again.

Terrible service and customer service. Fantastic Services had to clean our apartment twice for end of lease cleaning; both times they did not meet their promised cleaning standard. Instead of fixing the problem or offering a refund, they have argued semantics and tried to bully us into giving up. I have just opened a consumer affairs dispute. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
