Elgin Inn Hotel reviews
68Great place to spend quality time with family and friends, plenty of screens to watch the footy and but a bet on the dogs! Couldn’t recommend more!: P
Great local pub! Really nice vibes.
Has 2 areas downstairs and 2 upstairs, which are all useful depending on the occassion.
Good for large groups.
Nice atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff.
Good daily food specials.
Highly recommend the Elgin as a place to catch up for lunch with friends with babies as the manager was more than accommodating for our group! Plenty of space for prams, happy to provide hot water to warm bottles and there is baby changing facilities.
The food was a good pub feed with plenty of options for different tastes and the kitchen turned it around quickly which was great.
There are also several different areas so the noise from one group doesn't dominate the pub.
Beautiful venue, great food the staff do a amazing job on both occasions on the nights we went, it was really busy as hospitality worker's ourselfs we litrally saw a group of 20 pepole come up to the bar at one time but the bartender were amazing and she everyone got served in a reasonable time cocktails were great very impressive
Just improved their menu. Don't let downstairs fool you. Head upstairs for a fun bar to watch the footy or have a view of the city. Much different to downstairs.
It's basically what you'd expect from a country style pub. Not much more. Which is fine if that's what you're looking for.
Great place for a BUG meeting. This is a nice pub. Tough to get parking in peak hour but hey the food was good, the service was good and it is a popular place
Lamb back strap was nice, but a little small. The chutney they had with it was great. The pumpkin gnocchi was good however they used way way too much garlic which overpowered it and made it very difficult to eat. Not too bad, prices were a bit expensive and the portions were on the small side.
