EcoStar double glazing double glazed all the Windows in my house. They were incredibly efficient and the windows not only look fantastic, they have also blocked out a vast majority of the street noise I was getting and helped the house keep an even temperature. I highly recommend them!

The windows look fantastic and the windows are better than I expected. The Ecostar Glazing team of people booked ahead of time and arrived when booked. They were thorough and completed tasks as estimated, and no rework. They were helpful. It was a very good experience.

You just couldn't do better: the quality of the windows is superb, they look and feel great and work wonderfully. The service, from the agent who comes to quote, arrives on time and really knows the product, to the follow-up communication, to the installation team, could not be more professional.

This is a terrific company with amazing products. Nothing is too difficult for their staff. They walk you through all of the products, match the compatibility of the products to your home and your needs.after double glazing our home we feel so comfortable and warm and an added bonus was the huge noise reduction. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The installers were excellent. Cleaned up the place. Walked through all the issues. Two parts were damaged during installation and orders placed for them before we noticed. One was corrected quickly the other required parts from the UK.

Now we want to replace all doors and windows with Double Glazing.

Great product, efficient installation, friendly staff. Recommend also arranging fly screens to line up for a measure near installation. We had installation lined up and had to pull the pin with little notice due to being in “COVID-19 Home Isolation”, which turned out to be negative but meant no access - the rescheduled us to the first possible “window” (boom boom) to get us finished as soon as possible. The product is great - we had torrential rains, freezing winds, icy mornings and the house is holding temp amazingly and with the bonus of quietness.

I had to replace a timber 3 m x 2.1 m timber sliding door to the patio. My plan is to replace windows with double-glazing as they become old and rotten for reasons of thermal efficiency as climate change closes in on us. I chose Ecostar because the PVC frame meant no more painting (yay!) and the window is manufactured in the UK which has a lot of expertise in double-glazing. Ecostar’s quoting process is somewhat bizarre and takes about 2 hours plus more if you decide to go ahead, so be patient! Feel free to bargain. They instruct you in all the documentation, guarantees, technical specifications, colour options, installation procedures and so on. My parents had double-glazing put in many years ago and I always thought it was ugly, but I was very impressed with the new flat profile. The doors look very stylish and I am very happy with them. The double-glazing is a piece of engineering with almost unbreakable glass and impenetrable locks. I was a bit worried that this marvel of engineering would fail at the installation phase depending on the contractor, but Ecostar seem to use their own people. The installation was completely painless and the guys did a fantastic and professional job and cleaned up everything, taking just 3 hours. I think it was a pretty straightforward install. I made an effort to remove everything from the room and outside to make life easy for them. One downside you might need to consider is the fly screen. I rarely open the sliding door and don’t need one. However, if I wanted a screen I would need a retractable screen across the whole 3 m width and these are very expensive. Since everything has gone well for me so far (the install was about 3 months ago), I have not had to ring Ecostar about any problems, so I can’t comment on their customer service. All in all, I am very pleased with the new patio window and will use Ecostar for my next window that needs replacing.

Have used Ecostar on three occasions now and they have been great. Cost and delivery as well as instillation as promised. Better still your energy cost nose dive in both summer and winter. Great look and better results with so many positive comments.

2 (very uncomfortable) hours of my life I’ll never get back. Honestly, that information could have been provided in an email. Shame on you and your archaic sales tactics. And stop wasting paper printing out your wildly overpriced quotes.

I wish I'd read these reviews before wasting my time contacting Ecostar. I can confirm the absurd policies this business operates by, specifically the wife/husband partner must be present policy. Despite advising them that there was no design decisions to be made, it was to be a straight up like for like (but double glazed) replacement job (and my partner did not even want to be there), they would not budge, even when I asked to speak to a manager, which was a very unpleasant experience.

Have been getting Ecostar double glazing a bit/side of house at a time. Found them to be extremely reliable. Had double glazing in UK and missed it when I emigrated. Recently took delivery of front door - what a door! Can’t stop looking at it, as do other people who are constantly commenting on what a fabulous piece of furniture it is. Expecting third delivery shortly and are getting excited as the day nears. Fitters do a great job too when pieces arrive - what workmanship, SO precise. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Quality Windows

Good strength

95% maintenance free. Just give it a rub down every now and then.

Excellent from a thermal perspective. Noise reduction good. Australian standards are 3 mil glass, 10 mil gap and then 3 mil glass. The Ecostar one with 4 mil glass, 20 mil space and 4 mil is suitable for Australian standards.

I saw Ecostar at the shopping centre in Endeavour Hills. Office were fine. Quote process with Jared was fine. Fully explanatory. Laid out clearly what you are getting.

The entire quoting process took 3.5 hours. Yes 3.5 hours to quote for 4 bedrooms, 1 laundry, 1 kitchen, 1 front door and 2 french doors. The total price was 80k. Whilst I understand the gentleman was only doing his job with the hard sales pitch, first impressions count! And sorry to say no matter how good your product is your first impression was insincere, heavily scripted and pushy!

They won't come quote unless both partners are at home because they don't want you to use the excuse, "I need to discuss this over with my partner. " There was a hard push to have us discuss it right there and then if we wanted to have the job done or not.

So why did it take so long? Because they make you sit through 1. Sales pitch 2. Watch promotional company videos 3. Read customer reviews 4. Watch demonstration 5. Have a long discussion about their company, why they're the best, why people book them why they are expensive, listen to them relay what customers have said about them.

After entering all the measurements, setting up a printer and printing out their quote which felt like 30 minutes they said it came to 80k, but if we booked in today they'll give us a discount, 70k if we booked. When we said we need to think this over the man rang his boss to ask if he can give a further discount. I was thinking, "Is this a joke? This is so patronising. " He seemed quite chuffed to say he could give us another discount and we only need to pay 68k if we booked today. It was already 3.5 hours and I was tired and just had enough. He packed up and left.

After all that you know what was bizzare.he took the quote he printed with him. The quote he took 3.5 hours to give. I only realised after he left.

Anyway, to give everyone an idea. I had another company quote. Quality of windows is the same, double glazed Upvc for one of the bedrooms. Ecostar quoted 5k, this other company quoted 2.5k.

A total bunch of scam artists. They promise a "quick, obligation, free quote". Which took almost 3 hours. The salesman was rude, and disrespectful. He quoted a ridiculously high price of 45 Grand, then tried softening us up with discount after discount on the condition that we HAD TO SIGN UP RIGHT NOW. After we told him we would "think about it", he called his manager in front of us, to tell him "that he would be going home now". This could easily be done from his car, we had no idea why he was making these calls in front of us. (Maybe to try guilt us into signing up straight away hmmmm)

After we told the Salesman to leave our house, he made a racially offensive comment. This companies sales tactics are shady and disgraceful. Salesmans name was Con Kalpakidis. I have a quotation supply + fit form here and will provide photographic evidence as proof.

Time wasters with illogical company policies. The call centre sales team don't listen and successfully alienate potential customers. Callbacks don't happen, either. Perhaps the product is good, but the sales/ customer service certainly aren't!

Installed our windows in November 2018 and over the past two years have seen a marked improvement in both the comfort in living at home as well as a reduction in gas and electricity usage. The windows have also improved the aesthetics of our house and increased the natural lighting. We live on a busy road with a bus stop directly out the front and rarely notice the traffic noise now.

The installation process and the follow up service calls were simple and efficient. The staff at EcoStar are always friendly and helpful.

Can recommend highly.
