DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I've had multiple issues that they refuse to fix and say it's not under warranty when its clearly a manufacturing issue.

Had all my windows replaced today best thing l have ever done. Was really concerned when l spent over $30000 on windows but now there finished, money well spent. The best experience was the fit out these blokes we’re the most professional tradesmen l have dealt with

I got my window about a year ago and am happy as my house is quieter and sealed from the noise and weather.
The guys came back today and cleaned and checked their work, made sure everything was up to scratch. I like the service and feel safe with these guys.
Happy with their work.

We signed up to have 3 windows replaced with Double Glazing in June 2023. We then waited for things to go wrong. I am happy to report that things did not go wrong. We were advised that some one would contact us shortly for an onsite survey to finalise the measurements. They did and the person attended on 23rd June.
We were advised that after the survey report it would take 20 - 30 weeks for manufacturing to take place and we would be given a date for the works. Here Ecostar did not live up to expectations. Rather than take 20 - 30 weeks they advised in a little under 15 weeks that installation would be done on 5th October.
On the 5th October Mal and Matt turned up at a couple of minutes after 8: 00am and worked their backsides off such that the installation was completed by about 2: 45pm. They were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them.
So if you want Double Glazing and you want an unprofessional organisation with workers who don't know what they are doing and timelines just keep moving out DON'T go to Ecostar. You would only go to them if want a thoroughly professional team who actually do what they say they are going to do and who give you an amazing product. We live on a busy road with much traffic noise. Since installation we have noticed how quiet it is. This was underlined when we had our weekly garbage pick up which has routinely woken me up for about 40+ years. This time no noise and I slept soundly through it.
In summary I RECOMMEND ECOSTAR TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A GREAT PRODUCT AND WHO ARE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH.

Company refused to provide any quote or price guidance without a site visit. Immediately leaning into high pressure sales tactics.

Our second lot of installation from Ecostar. Great product has made a big difference to our energy efficiency and reduced noise. Installation team was fantastic.

The sales guy was lovely but service was absolutely disgusting. No communication between staff when I had to change the date for the assessor, so when he turned up and we weren't home, he called and verbally abused me! Would not touch them with a ten foot pole.

Had them booked in to give a quote. They phoned the day before to confirm the appointment and to check that both my wife and I would be present. When I told them that it "may" only be 1 of us home, they refused to come out until I could guarantee a time when we were both there. Very condescending. All I wanted was a quote for double glazing.

Terrible service booked a slot, rearranged my day and worked from home. Called them up 30 minutes before the appointment to find out nobody was coming.

Steve and Peter changed all the windows in my house. They were really competent and very friendly
I was very worried as I have a concrete walls with embedded steel window frames but they were very reassuring and made everything look easy.
They cleaned as they went so living in the house as the windows were changed was not a problem

The windows look amazing and I swear that the house feels warmer all ready
I recommend eco star unreservedly especially Steve and Peter. Thank you my winter is looking toasty thanks to you all.

Hours long sales pitch in which you’re given condescending questions, forced to listen to more info than needed or discuss your personal life with the sales person while the long quote is taking place on the spot. As others have mentioned a quote is given after all this misery and then when declined it can come down over thousands to half price with ‘calls to a manager’ then those offers are declined they become optional and you can just have the discount if you do it now. The mood shifts and your wants as the customer are not considered no matter how many times you try and questions you have regarding anything about the install process etc are glazed over. I honestly was pretty happy with the product but completely put off by the sales tactics and every minute the appointment continued I became more adamant out of principle that if this is the representation of their business and how desperate they are for money not integrity, I don’t want it and lost faith in the product. Would recommend paying a bit extra for the honesty and time taken for the quote as other companies have done and save a few hours of your life.

Utterly appalled! Asked these people to do a quote to replace some windows and they insisted that my husband be home at the time. They would not allow me, a woman, to get a quote or order window replacements on my home without my husband present! Are you kidding me? This is not the 1950s nor is it the Middle East. Totally disrespectful!

Stay away from this company! Totally obnoxious and breeching my privacy. Cancelled an appointment to quote because I would not guarantee my partner would be present. I own the home and make the final decision. 4 other companies have quoted without such ridiculous and out of line request! Who are they to dictate my partner, who doesn't live with me be present.

I cancelled my appointment after being told my partner had to be present. I explained my wife could not be present due to medical issues and that I was solely responsible for the project and payments. They said no partner no quote.typically tactics used by pressure sales organisation

Didn't really like the sales tactics. Lots of red flags during the sales pitch:
1. Repeatedly asking for the couple to be home.
2. No professional photographs of the work done before. If you've done 50,000+ houses, then some professional photos are expected.
3.6+ months wait time - that's a long commitment.
4. We need to do painting on the timber frame by ourselves, remove blinds pre-work and install after its done. These windows cost $50k+, and these should be included in the service.
5. Calling themselves eco-friendly, but printing out a 20+ page quote using a portable printer. It's 2023, just email the quote.
6. Straightaway giving random discounts.
7. Salesman approaching with a torn, faded and outdated brochure.

We live in a block of 2 storey townhouses and we got our entire house done including the front and back doors. We felt the difference overnight after they were installed. They looked better than expected. The installers arrived on time and no time was wasted, all done in just over 2 days. The house feels brand new. The product itself was expensive but so well worth it, now we know! All the existing rubbish was collected and cleaned up superbly. No paint damage at all!
Negative - Contract was all signed up and we later discovered we could not have the public facing doors and windows in white instead should match strata colour scheme! The sales person should have mentioned this to us, to ensure we got the the approval but no he did not. As a business they have an obligation to let us know these things you would think? It cost us an additional whopping $6000 to have them in a colour that matched the strata requirement.

Now they have a process in place to bring this sort of details to owners attention at the start (before signing contract). Too late for my family.

Pandemic and re-order set us back many months but cannot complain about how beautiful the product is and workmanship of the installation team.

Referral Bonus - I referred a neighbour and they got their windows done, I was promised a referral bonus. Work is complete and I was chasing up my referral bonus for over 6 months all I got was radio silence. Finally a lovely lady got on our case and got it sorted at lightning speed. For that I am grateful.

While we love the product there are things that you can improve on. Thank you and wish your team the very best, replacing one window and door at a time and changing the world with UPVC.

Took ages to organise a quote - then refused to give me a quote as my wife wasn't there as she was looking after our child. Then they wanted to measure then drive to where my wife and child were. Refused to then give a quote with just me present - very odd and the other window companies were more than happy to come and supply a quick quote

An enthusiastic salesman from Ecostar came to our home - measured windows and gave us a good quote. We asked for specific details about one aspect of the windows. That's the last we heard from Ecostar. Strange way to do business.

BEWARE! 2nd home now double glazed. This experience however, unlike the 1st was a huge costly time delayed mistake. $45K spent and treated appallingly by the inept management. Take my advice and shop elsewhere. Read the other poor reviews. Abandoned mid stream with no assistance. Pressurised sales, and zero communication then more pressure to spend even more with hidden costs after install.
Update-Wow!
Ecostar now threatening legal action against my personal opinion and experience with this company. Requesting I remove this review or else.
I’m posting this to warn others of my experience.

Ecostar are a very professional company to deal with and we had several windows installed by them this year. We have since ordered a further three windows from them. Their product is expensive, but we consider value for money.
