Great service from the salesman (Fab). However, the store requires a complete revamp and retraining of admin staff. Lack of communication. Firstly, the installer didn't turn up for the final measurement (apparently someone rubbed off my name from their board). Secondly, the installer couldn't finish other jobs and had to cancel mine, and I was not contacted for an alternative installation date.

Fab did a fantastic job chasing up the store to organise an installation date. But, his colleagues led him down again. Guess what, my installation appointment again "disappeared" from their board.

My doors finally got installed after my hissy fit. The installer did a good job. But I never received any explanation or apology from the store manager/admin staff as to what happened with "disappearance" of my appointments.

My advice is.avoid this particular store, if you can. The products are fine and installer was good at his job. But the management and client service is a complete mess.

This would be a one star review except that the guy who installed our door was actually quite fabulous. That aside, we waited five long months for a very basic back door to arrive and be installed. Absolutely terrible service where they completely forgot to organise installation, we had to contact them multiple times and also it was very expensive.

I ordered a door to replace a damaged door, regular width single door but higher than stocked doors. I paid a deposit on 2nd December 2020, they kept fobbing me off saying it was nearly ready, then finally in May 2021 said it was ready, they would phone me to install the following week. They continued to fob me off when I phoned. Then when I phoned again on 11th June one of their employees actually checked and phoned me back to say they have not started making the door. It seems they were too incompetent to put through the credit card transaction for 80% payment they required. I have now asked for a full refund after waiting more than 6 months for a simple door. Doors Plus Mitcham is a dishonest, incompetent, lazy business. Avoid them.

Great experience in-store, then the door installer, Matt, was awesome. Talked me through everything, was super friendly and super professional! Definitely recommend!

Most companies nowadays have cottoned onto the fact that customer service is everything. I have not actually experienced worse customer service than I have from Doors Plus Mitcham. The staff on duty weren't interested in talking to us (despite a couple of them not being with other customers). Eventually I got a written quote, which I followed up with on the phone 2 days later to confirm availability; I was told "you will have to come in so we can check our warehouse. ". Clearly I didn't and went to Bunnings Ringwood special orders instead for amazing service and cheaper doors!

The team have provided an excellent product and service. Grant, the installer, is a very experienced and diligent carpenter, leaving nothing to chance and ensuring a quality installation on all fronts. Highly recommend the service!

Andrew at Mitcham commumicated well and efficiently organisedmy orders. The prices were very good. The tradesman fitting the doors took great care.

Came in at God forbid 1720 after work, bloke didn't want to deal with me and when I told him I needed a external door, pointed at one and said it was $1200 with fitting made no effort to show options or discuss. Was then told they where shutting. No interest in me as a potential customer. Will spend my cash at Bunnings. They should call this place Doors Plus Rudeness and Some should re-evaluate their career choices.

Shut the door on this bunch!

The owner replied and said the '15% cancellation fee' was mentioned in the term and conditions of the tax invoice.

Trying to post my tax invoice here but somehow failed - I receive only 1 page invoice! 'Page 1 of 1'! - NO 'Term & Conditions', NO signature!

Nobody ask me to sign any paperwork;
Nobody went through the Term & Condition with me;
Nobody issue me the Term & Condition along with the tax invoice;
Nobody advised the 15% cancellation fee before & after place the order.

Not recommend DoorsPlus Mitcham!

We placed an order with this store, then it became very difficult to contact them to follow-up the order, after about 2 weeks we decided to cancel the order as we completely lose confidence with this store.

The manager doesn't care the problem from their service, he just want to charge 15% cancellation fee, which never been explained to us before & after we place the order.

Fair Trading advise us to raise this issue to VCAT, before we do this, we wrote to customer service email but no response from them, in this case we will have to escalate this issue to VCAT.

Never imagined a happy deal could turns to a nightmare, very shock and very disappointed with their customer service!

The doors are great, but everything else we experienced was not! We paid deposit on 3rd January and were told we'd get the doors in 6 weeks, then we were forgotten about. I waited and by Feb I tried calling and never got an answer so I tried emailing but was ignored, resulting in me having to bundle my kids in the car and do the hour round trip just to ask a question, and found out we weren't on their list. Once that was sorted we waited patiently and heard nothing. All emails and phone calls ignored again. We got our doors in May, damaged but they offered a discount that we accepted because we just wanted the experience over with.
Mitcham store needs to work on lots of things but mostly their communication.

Great quality and price. The installation was so precise and the installer, Henry was a fabulous tradesman and so polite and helpful.

The installation was very good and Terry who installed was very helpful and professional in not only installing but guiding us on care of the door and initially what handles to purchase. However, service at the shop was decidedly not as good. We felt that we were rushed through and the Manager was only interested in getting our money. Issues were rectified eventually but after a number of phone calls to clarify what was required, when the doors would eventually be installed and further clarity on what we could and couldn't purchase in regard to handles! It is to be noted we are still waiting for the installation of a flatscreen door purchased at the same time - we are now well over six weeks waiting for the order.

Would not recommend Doors Plus Mitchum to anyone. Appalling service and workmanship both to installation of front door and security door which we are still waiting to be fixed after almost 9months of purchasing. They take your money up front and no longer full fill their poor workmanship. I am furious!

The experience with the sales team left much to be desired but Matt the installer was great and kept me updated whilst installing about any slight detail I might not be happy with but he did a great job.

Doors Plus have been the least professional installation group I have had experience with in a long time. After a terrible sales experience at this showroom, Doors plus proceeded to mis-represent the door's ability to be installed at our home. As if canceling our confirmed appointment on the day it was scheduled and asking for the balance payment was not enough, the salesroom proceeded to say: "installing your door today will ruin our schedule for other customers" essentially stating that our installation was of less importance than others, even though our installation was booked over a month in advance. We were offered another installer, whom they said was incompetent and that if we decided to take this option, it was at our own risk if the installer did a shoddy job. We rescheduled installation, which was an ordeal on its own, and yet again on the day of installation, when the installer measured the opening, found that the door was too large for our opening even though 6 weeks earlier, one of their carpenters came to our house and measured the opening to ensure that the doors would fit. When asked what the solution would be we were advised that the door had to be cut down by 6 cm and again the installation had to be rescheduled. Still awaiting response for a refund and will keep the review updated. However, one thing is clear, DO NOT BUY DOORS FROM DOORS PLUS. If I could give them a 0 Star rating I would. They will over promise and under deliver and you will not get the product you purchased. Your time will be undervalued and after taking 2 days off work for installation, I am now 2 days of labour out of pocket.

Door installation went extremely smoothly and the old door was removed. The new DoorsPlus door is an excellent fit. Extremely pleased with the workmanship, door quality and value for money.

Door Plus at Mitcham have been a pleasure to deal with. Manny at the store was great and Dylan who install my doors today was very professional and a pleasure. The finished I am extremely happy with. All round a big gold star.

We were lucky to meet Igor and his suggestions were very helpful and we ended up choosing a door that we definitely loved. Dealing with the Mitcham team was a breeze and no hiccups. Understandably there were delays due to the pandemic. Grant who installed our door was a hardworking guy and the installation was spot on. Great job guys!

We were very happy with the service we received at Doors Plus in Stafford. We weren't entirely satisfied with the 3rd party installer, but we were happy with Doors plus products and services.

We have just had some new doors fitted in our house by Doors Plus Cannington to replace some that were literally falling apart. The service was quick and professional by Ralph who took our order, and Phillip who actually fitted the doors. He left no mess and even took the old doors away, which I wasn't expecting. He even renewed the knobs on all the other doors that didn't need replacing so everything matched up. And the whole process took less than a week! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doors Plus if you ever need new doors for your house.
