82Needed a door to match others previously purchased from Doors Plus. Wayne was very helpful, and when there was a small problem with delivery, sorted that out as well.
DOORS PLUS MITCHAM ~Wanted to share an update from January 2021. Yes I’m so disappointed that I want to share, so no one has to go through what I’m still experiencing! My door cost me over $4000 and I’m still dealing with the useless door plus! After numerous and I mean numerous conversations, Doorplus said they will give me a new door if I remove my first review. It then took them another 8 months to bring me a new door and imagine my surprise when guess what, the door didn’t fit. Two weeks ago the door arrived to be installed and it did not fit. So not only do I have a useless $4000 door but now I have another $4000 door sitting in my garage. I have once again had no phone call from Mitcham door plus to explain or fix the problem. I have never received such bad service! Do yourself a favour do NOT go to doors plus.

Sorry Gus but I have a $4000 door in my garage doing nothing surely you don’t have that many Nikki’s that you have given such terrible customer service too! Or do you?
Don't pay properly, fire you without actual cause. I tried to deal with this privately but I have been blocked by the one number I still had in Charley who refused to give me relevant numbers. Gave this store everything, for nothing but a kick in the guts in return, I really didn't wanna have to be petty and post it in their socials but they owe me like 2 grand.
If this is still up you can assume I still haven't been paid I will remove it once they do what they legally have to do. I'd rather cleanly break ties but they've chosen to be difficult.
Never ever will I trust this company again. A damaged front door with a split and chunk out from a workman checking the split. Handle keeps jamming. They refused to replace or fix it. Not hung properly, closes on you as you walk through it. Worse service and product. Ended up at VCAT!
After two measure and quote appointment no-shows with no call or email to advise they weren’t attending, instead of trying to remedy the situation this store instead wanted to charge me an additional $240 on top of the quote they had already given me because they did not want to undertake a job out of town. They also misquoted on the type of installation which would have been an overcharge had I gone ahead with the job. Complete disrespect for my time and lack of integrity in follow-up and meeting commitments. Their internal appointment and customer management systems do not support good customer service and their management is inexperienced and juvenile. I do not recommend this company.
Good value overall. The installation was very good and the carpenter was very professional and knowledgeable.
Do not use this company. Doors poorly installed. Handles not working properly, tradesman had to come back three times. I've had to call them on multiple occasions to book in the tradesman or get an update on doors because it's been 8 weeks since the order. Extremely unhappy.
Door Plus Mitcham Delays and No Work Guaranteed, ordered 3 external and security doors, waited for measurement for more than 7 weeks. Given 2 hours notice for first measurement with no show or call. Next appointment no show and no follow up, when finally got email confirmation booked for measurement, still no shows and no call. At this stage we don’t even sure if we will get the doors installed or even getting a refund! Avoid at all cost and don’t bother wasting time with Door Plus Mitcham!
I ordered a door at the beginning of November. I was told it could be installed early December so I took the day off work (no pay that day). The installer arrived and discovered that he had somebody else's door. 'Another week', he said. Around mid December I called, and was told mid January. After Mid-January I called again, 'It has arrived on a pallet, and I will personally be checking every order - you are prioritised'. I called a week later, 'The order is still on a pallet and you'll get a call later in the week' - later in the week came and went and I'm still waiting. Been 13 weeks now.
I want the product that I have paid for.
We had a dreadful experience with Doors Plus in Mitcham, VIC, I’m sad to say. We had dealt with them for years successfully and their reputation has since plummeted downhill. This manager was extremely rude and made no attempt to even listen to how shoddy the materials and fitting was when we went in. Still no resolution months later. Appalling lack of professionalism and decency.
A terrible, overpriced, incompetent company with poor customer service who have wasted months of our time.

I walked in, no one greeting. Two staff are just sitting behind their computer, trying hard to avoid interact with customers.
I finally got one staff asking for price. The whole conversation was so unwelcome. I went out and make a phone call, came back again. Then guess what happened? Another staff gave me a different price for the same door. Really?
We had the doors we purchased from Doors Plus Mitcham installed today. From the beginning the experience has been excellent, from the sales lady and supervisor/manager in the store to the installer. Grant, the installer was exceptional, his work ethic and manner was great and the job was completed exceptionally well. Thank you for the hard work.
Gus I see you deleted my negative reviews as you don't want future customers to see just how bad your service is. This was not one order it was 3 we spent almost $6000 with you and we are disgusted with the hopeless customer service.

Doors Plus Mitcham deserves 0 stars. I ordered a front door as well as a completely new frame. Firstly, door was installed 5 months after purchase. Once the door was installed, we noticed the external and internal door framing was made of several small pieces of finger joined timber (all different colours as seen in images). I had advised the company that the door would NOT be stained and only have a clear varnished. We paid $2,500 and were not happy with the extremely patchy finish, we went into the store and the Manager was extremely rude, aggressive and unhelpful. He refused to listen to our concerns. I have truly never experienced worse customer service. Please do not purchase anything through Doors Plus Mitcham. I have wasted a lot of money and time with no resolution.
Terrible service! Ordered doors in June. Had all but one door installed in August. Wrong parts given to installer. Last door still not installed. Rang in Nov and was assured we would be called to arrange installation of last door. Four weeks later haven’t heard anything and when I called today they can’t even be bothered to answer the phone. Zero stars!
A testament to the quality of the service received at Doors Plus Mitcham is its personable and friendly staff. Jeremy stood out to me as being highly knowledgeable, with an affinity for engaging with customers and making their experience worthwhile and enjoyable. I highly recommend this store!
Poor service, signed up for new front and rear doors, 10 week delivery status.took a phone call after 14 weeks before they finally can out to install, ordered crim safe security doors at the same time, still waiting now after 6 months, they were meant to come out after door install to take final measurements within a week then it would be 5 to 6 weeks before they would arrive, still haven't seen them and don't answer phone calls even after leaving messages.and the job on the doors wasn't good either, ordered doors that are pre coated in white for extra protection due to not being undercover, front door didn't fit so they trimmed it back removing that seal and smooth finish. NOT HAPPY
I went to get a quote on a new door, the sales person was rude and just seemed uninterested to help. Just before I was served, I heard some staff making rude comments about a previous customer. I am not going back!
Six months ago we went and purchased a brand new door, a little more than we expected to pay but Mandy the store manager did a good job selling it to us. He even came to our place the same day to make sure it was the right fit. That’s where the service stopped! We spent over $4000 to get a door that does not work properly. I have had made numerous requests to have this fixed. Mandy does not reply to any messages and when he does he promises every time that it will be fixed. He has sent out a staff member who has has spent over 10 hours on numerous attempts to fix it which he hasn’t been able to do. I am still waiting 6 months to have MANDY come and actually look at why it’s not working, but apparently he must be to busy as I haven’t heard from him. I do not recommend buying from Doors Plus!
