Derby Thai St Kilda

Pretty basic, quick Thai food joint. Inexpensive and value for money. I did ask "what's the difference between red and green curry? " and they told me "it's the same, just a different colour", which I thought was odd!

I will say this is the best Thai food in Melbourne, from perspective of food taste, price or speed.
Cons: not a big space for group dinner. Better take away or come at not busy time!

Best pad see ew (stir fried wide rice noodles) around. Friendly and efficient service. They are also with ubereats, deliveroo and easi-eat melbourne for food delivery services. Definitely recommended!

Derby thai is the best! Its my go to on uber eats but am yet to actually see where the food comes from.

Cracking lunch at a really good price. My husband and I had a brilliant lunch there (jungle curry was to die for) and it cost us less than $20. Best Thai food we’ve had in ages. Highly recommended

Rang and basically told too bad so sad we cater for people living at home and using their own utensils.

I absolutely love this place and I eat here regularly. The staff are all so lovely, the food is delicious and they’re fast about it too! The prices are super affordable and they have awesome lunch deals. They’re always happy to customise a meal which is a bonus and they’re on delivery apps too. I’d definitely recommend them for a quick lunch either dine in or take-away.

Recently visited after hearing so much about it from a mate. So disappointed. I had a beef stirfry dish and told the girl behind the counter not too much rice just a little bit. This dish was mainly rice I have never been so ripped off in my life. I should’ve just ordered a bowl of rice would be cheaper. Also ordered satay chicken sticks and I’ve never tasted anything so salty in my life. I will never return here again And I should have never Tipped them either.

My favorite local restaurant, it has the price, quality and service that makes me continue to go back to them again and again. Thank you Derby Thai, you always make me feel at home.
