Derby Thai St Kilda

Really disappointed. The satay chicken is deep fried. The rice is clumpy and all stuck together and the meat in the beef massaman is the poorest quality meat I have ever tasted in Thai cooking. I've eaten half and thrown the rest out.

Really rude walked in at 9,20 to eat and they didn’t serve us, and saying it’s closing at 10pm on a Saturday- very rude -

I love Derby Thai it has been a fav for many years, although i would usually get my take away from Derby Thai near Caulfield station. We got some take away from the one on Fitzroy St St Kilda
Thai fried rice (spicy) with chicken and the chicken and cashew nut dish. So yummy.the food is good quality fresh ingredients decent serves and very well priced. I also have to say after ordering take away from Derby Thai for years, they never make mistakes with the order. Dine in option available

Excellent food and nice service. First time trying Thai food. Very reasonable price and quantity. Pad Thai was really delicious. Must try if you are around St Kilda and looking for Thai food.

Absolutely exceptional. Really won't go wrong with this place. The flavours are incredible. Coming from someone who has frequented Thailand, these guys are as authentic as it gets.

Very disappointed with the food from StKilda derby Thai, have had the Caulfield take away and it doesn’t compare. Food was bland and not Thai style, more like Chinese.

Excellent Thai w fast service. I had the red duck curry w lychee. It used to be super spicy but they have tempered it down. Duck, rice and roti for $21bucks satisfied my craving.

Very disappointed, I used to order from you frequently when you were in St Kilda. Potatoes in curry were barely cooked, inedible, food was barely warm, there was more onion than protein, satay and main was watery and lacked flavor. Delivery bag was soaked through with sauce and so broken, poor presentation. I won’t be back. Not worth my money.

I had a red curry beef with rice today for $8.50. Fantastic value and so fresh. Took off one star as the red curry gravy was just a little watery. But I would give these guys 9/10 all day long. Worth a visit for sure!

Ordered again. Their red duck curry with lychee is amazing! Drove us crazy!

We ordered pad king, green curry, tom yum soup and pad see ew. The soup was fantastic. Green curry was good as it should be. Pad king and pad see ew were simple stir fries but surprisingly tasty. Enjoyed the meal. Will definitely order again.

Yummy authentic Thai food. Simple and unassuming restaurant. Great for family's, great service. Definitely a satisfying meal.

In the tradition of it's big sister restaurant in Caulfield, the cosy Derby kitchen turns out some of the very best authentic Thai food that Melbourne has to offer at a realistic price.

Derby Thai recently opened up at this location as they were recently on Grey Street (near corner of Barkly Street). Venue is much more pleasant now inside, with a ton of seating room and a nice bar you can sit at as well. I recommend trying the Pad See Ew but do add some of the chilli that's available on the table as it's not spicy.

Ordered a pad Thai through ubereats. Food was nice, not overly greasy or sweet. The portion was generous and reasonably priced. Delivery was on time. Great experience and will order again!

This is my favourite Thai place ever. There's not much else to say. The food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly we went back three times in one week.

Love the new look of St Kilda Derby Thai. Food is fresher than ever. Great decor and space. Good prices. BYO wine available also. Very happy. Great job team!

Great little Thai restaurant on Fitzroy! Extremely busy with diners, take away and ubers even on a Thursday night.

Prices very affordable for the area and will definitely be visiting again!

Best Thai food in St. Kilda, they now have the looks of a modern upmarket restaurant in their new place. Value for money, generous serving and fresh food. They are now a fully licensed restaurant, BYO is accepted as well. If you are in a mood to eat Thai and are around about St. Kilda go there and dine.

Quite a nice place which serves good and affordable Thai food. I was there on a Thursday and it was quite busy. Went there again but we were late by 5 mins. Though it says 10pm, they take their last orders at 9.20pm. Takeaways are accepted till 9.45
