I was after a particular brand binoculars and Akshay helped me choose the best one. He was absolute professional in explaining all specifications and pricing. We went ahead and enquired with other branches to find the right one. Good work mate …. Am definitely seeing you again

Came here because I used to go to Decathlon back in France & was always very satisfied by the good service and decent prices. Unfortunately it’s hard to say the same for this store; I was shocked to see that when I got to the checkout I was forced to either log in or create an account in order to pay. I asked one of the staff how could I just pay for the product & they said that I had no choice but to have an account. This is extremely worrying and quite frankly should not be legal. I sincerely hope they change this policy

Was there at 7.58 pm. Knew Exactly what I wanted. Doors aready closed. No one would meet my gaze.

First time shopping at Decathlon.
Went to pay for for my goods. At the checkout it said sign in as member or sign up to be a member to complete Thr purchase. No option to just pay for the goods and leave. So basically you are forced to hand over your information and become a member. I think this should be illeagle. You are a retail store. Customers should be able to shop, pay and leave.

These practices are not right. It's simply data be bought and sold.

Ordered a balance board never heard from it. Ordered some bike grease was told that I'll be contacted shortly after 3 days still no call or email. Never order from Box Hill store because customer service do not exist! This my order #113832 #249446

The west needs a store too! Essendon is a great location for it. Around Dfo? Airport? Oh do please open one on this side too!

If certain stock is only available for sale online it should be marked as such, stop wasting your customers time

Not the best Decathlon store. Visit the Knox one, bigger and with much wider choice of products.

Really friendly staff here, and they had really great prices on air mattresses and sports clothes. Will be shopping here again.

Kinda like Aldi and Costco getting it on in a tent. Prices for apparel are very reasonable. Gear selection is ok but mostly unheard of brands (read: Chinese rip off). The range here is solid though. If you are on a budget, take a look.
PS. It's one of those membership (Costco) kind of arrangements, so play dumb and the stsff will ring it up if you are nice.

Ordered an item from them to be picked up from their pop up store in South Morang. They sent out an email to say that the item is available to be picked up from Mon-Sun 9: 00-5: 30pm. When I went to the store at 5: 10pm, it was already closed. I contacted their customer service, and was told that their hours have been changed. One hour of driving just to pick up the order was wasted.

They don't even sell hurdles or a javelin so why call themselves decathlon if I can't get decathlon stuff here. Should be called triathlon cos they've got running, swimming, cycling only! What triathlon stuff they have is weird Frenchy branded gear but good.

Bought the ski equipment from this store today. Went with a friend and needed the ski gear for both of us. There was a massive 50% discount. Would like to mention the staff member Akshay for his patience and help he offered to find the right gear with the knowledge he had about this sport. He stayed with us all the way through and helped us pick the right size and even helped us at the checkout.

Would also be good if someone with detailed ski knowledge is available as it would be helpful for beginners to choose the right equipment. Also a ski fitting and boot mounting service would be additionally beneficial.

Don't order from Decathlon online and have it sent to one of their 'Click and Collect' locations. I live an hour north of Melbourne, so the closest 'Click and Collect' was in Fitzroy - still 50 mins drive. A few days after ordering we received an email stating that the order was ready for collection. Having driven to the 'click and collect' location, the order wasn't there and the lady was incredibly rude. After many phone calls between the Decathlon Box Hill warehouse and this location, I had to wait 3hrs for the package to be sent across. Terrible customer service all around and their system should not generate confirmation emails when the product had never shipped. There's too many alternative stores to buy from in Australia to waste time and money with Decathlon.

Great store to buy sporting, gym and outdoor equipments. Have a nice play area to play table tennis. Reasonable priced with several options.

A shop assistant of South Asian ethnicity was incredibly helpful, taking the trouble to assist me in looking for items I saw in the Web. Very much appreciated.

Spent an hour in store testing bikes, balance bikes and wave board. Staff didn't mind at all and offered to teach while we were there! Lovely place to shop and great prices.

Decathlon is enough for all sports needs. Very helpful and courteous staff. Love the overall experience.

Bought an indoor table tennis table online a few weeks back. When picking it up at the Box Hill shop, a friendly staff helped me carry the (heavy) table into the car. Thumbs up for the service.

Reasonably priced active/outdoor gear shop. Shop is well presented and found the gear I was after.
