DC Dumpling

Pathetic food!
I heard highly of this restaurant by a friend. I decided to give it a try and ordered via UberEats. We ended up having insects in our food. With a big beetle and small insects, our dinner got ruined. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Being to this place with 2 different owners, last owner is slightly better, this owner still get 3.5 star.

When you say no see food it will send you to hospital most places listen not at David & Camy they really don't care. So try avoid.

My go to dumpling place in Box Hill, always a good experience. Great tasting food and fantastic portion size!

After arriving at 12pm i was still waiting for my food until after 1pm while watching people who walked in after us, come and go. The waiters would refuse to gain eye contact with me, after having to get up to talk to them. I was still treated poorly and disrespected. Its a shame that they have lost a customer

Used to be a favourite and all time classic of Box Hill however the quality of the food has deteriorated a lot. The dumplings are terribly salty and the service has taken a nose dive. It appears now that turning customers over is more of a priority than what is was traditionally known for.

Saying that for the price you pay you don't really expect 5 star service do you?

My favourite dumplings place to eat in Box-Hill! We walked in and was greeted by a waitress. They sat us down and was very quick to take our order. I must say, they were very quick and very ATTENTIVE! It's very rare to have the service that we got!

No service, found hairs in the noodles, used to be a nice place but oh well not coming back again

They appear to have had a change in ownership, the food and service have gone down significantly since.

The dishes are much more salty and oily than in the past, and don't taste as fresh.

An order of fried pork ribs was served more as a plate of fried bones with no meat attached. Unfortunately we had to return the dish and will not be returning until the quality improves and the new owner stops cutting corners.

If you are a Box Hill diner and you haven't been to DC Dumpling then you should do yourself a favour and try it out.you won't be disappointed, Uncle Albert and his wife operate the best Dumping restaurant in Town.

Have eaten here dozens of times and am constantly amazed by the price to quality ratio. Highly recommended for those looking for cheap, filling meals in the Box Hill area, especially for those might otherwise feel intimidated by a more unfamiliar menu. Highly recommend the Shanghai fried noodles.

If you get takeaway, then you'd better have your own cutlary and napkins. They don't give you that. $12 for a bland meal and no way to eat it

Used to be good, always had rude staff but the food made up for it but they seem to have changed owners/ management recently and the food went down hill so much.

I personally think DC dumplings is over hyped, the service is friendly and prompt but the food isn't worth what you're paying for it. Lu Yang's dumpling house down the street has better dumplings at a cheaper price.

$13 for dumplings is ok but the quality was suspect. I suffered stomach and bottom problemsthe next day.

Food was not the best. Poor customer service, especially the young girl who served us. Her customer sevice skills were horrible, extremely rude! Wouldnt recommend this palce to anyone.

Worst food and service ever.

1. Food was way below average. Tastes bad and small portion;
2. Waitress was rude and kinda discrimative;
3. Not worth for what you’ll get.

Ordered dumpling noodle soup, chicken and pan fried dumplings. Staff was very friendly, prices were reasonably good and their opening hours are amazing. We were craving dumplings at 11 pm and were delighted to stumble upon DC dumings. Since then we have been back 3 times we enjoyed it so much

Best dumplings? Gets busy but it’s worth hanging around and stuffing your face. Great friendly service and vibe as well!
