Chips were delicious
Calarmari however could not be eaten. Its been cooked then cooked again. Severaly overcooked and the batter was so hard you could hardly bite through it. Not good enough.
Also charge $1.50 for a sauce that is enough for 2 calamaries.

Very Tasty! Didnt have to wait long. Best Fish n Chips i've had in a long time, definitely keen to buy some fresh seafood from these guys!

Great quality fish but don’t rate the experience. Part of order missed and two burgers undercooked. Called and explained and told to return in 10 minutes to collect new burgers but on arrival was told they had changed their mind and the burgers are meant to be served that way (cold in the middle and gooey) and then offered to reheat our partially eaten burger on the grill which they did. #sharing-germs-is-caring

Quality fresh fish at a reasonable price. Customer satisfaction is their first priority and is appreciated by many locals.

The best. Loved my flake & the calamari is amazing. Orders 20 calamari rings & loved the tartare dipping sauce. Addicted. The oil they use is amazing.

Always fresh fish and never disappointed. The chips are tasty. I would love if there is a choice of salads. The first grill order was too salty. The second order of grilled fish was less salty.

Fresh fish fresh chips great batter, nice and crunchy. Try to put in a phone order because if it looks empty, it's actually still really busy (and for good reason).

We may be tourists but we are not animals, our fish and chips was not what we expected, tiny scallops, fish was thin as and undercooked, our South Melbourne DimDim’s were so over cooked a dog wouldn’t eat them, not being harsh just honest - very disappointed, for the price you pay - not worth it, keep walking down to the next fish and chips shop

Fabulous fish & chips & fantastic fast service. This is one busy shop & I can’t believe how fast they move through the orders. I had the salmon some chips & delicious scallops. This is real Australia fresh seafood. The scallops are delicious & from Bass Straight, gotta love local. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Rye & try something else. Five stars guys.

Best experience at the shop today, never disappoints. The only fresh fish and chip shop on the peninsula if you have a fresh and expensive taste rather than a frozen acquired taste you receive at all other fish and chip shops, then this is the place to go. The staff always look after you asking if you want msauces drinks or lemons. Feels great to be able to support a local business that is hard working and over all a positive environment to be a customer in. Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic quality and service. Really enjoyed the moist flake with light batter and crunchy chips. Excellent selection of fish and otherwise all the usual fare. I felt real care was taken preparing the food and was really enjoyable to eat down at the Rye foreshore. Highly recommended!

Delicious fresh fish (grilled and fried). Not greasy food. Very impressed and would recommend. Friendly staff and seemed like a well organised shop.

Calamari was shocking potato cakes had a nice surprise in them a fly and tasted horrible! Just because there is a high foot traffic In summer doesn’t mean you can provide less than edible food to your customers. Never again!

Great serving of Flake and some of the best chips I have ever had. This is THE place for F&C’s on the Pennisular. Place is spotless and the staff are friendly. Great place!

Food was nice as it always is, i live local and go here fairly often. Although last time i went i was over charged nearly $10 as they increased there prices but didnt update the online menu. I called and got a sorry and no offer of a refund. Not great business.

Food was o’kay, but not enought sault, but what was better, was the lady taking the orders and barking instructions. Customer service? Not sure, but funny. Also, potato cakes nice, but very small for the price.
