Crowne Plaza Melbourne

Quality hotel in a good spot. Was a bit worried that we would be out of the action, but the hotel was in a great spot to get around the city with the tram stop just out the front. Had a great stay with no complaints, staff were helpful and professional and facilities were tasteful and well maintained.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is conveniently located on the western fringe of the Melbourne CBD on the north bank of the Yarra River. Rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. Some rooms have river views. There is a restaurant & bar on site.

Have just checked into Crowne Plaza. It is inot the room I booked as pictured on Expedia. The room I booked had a beautiful large window with a view and a bath. The bath was the thing I was most looking forward to. Very disappointed Crowne. Also it is now $35 cheaper.

Service was good. Menu was quite extensive and steak was well cooked. Needs a cheesecake for dessert.

Good location, upgraded rooms make the overnight stay almost perfect, if it wasn't for the barely frosted glass separating the main room to the bathroom.normally not an issue i am sure. But when sharing a room with a work colleague? Nope.not good.

Had a quick breakfast at the restaurant and were really disappoint with the quality of food and coffee!

We had a river front view on the 4th floor and the view was amazing. It was a very pleasant experience.

Very helpful staff, great checkin experience. We were in a newly renovated room which was spacious and comfortable.

The rooms are very modern and clean, sporting a great view of the Melbourne CBD. Was here for a conference over a weekend and it was a short walk to the MCEC. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Didn't get to use the facilities as it was a short stay, however everything I needed was in the room. Would stay again and recommend the Crowne plaza for others visiting the MCEC.

Reception staff were lovely and very polite. The room itself has a good view, large clean and comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with the necessary amenities.

By the river and close to south bank. Perfect location. The rooms with 2 beds are really spacious and great for families.

This place has had a makeover and is pretty decent. Nice rooms although detest shower curtains. Bar is also really reasonably priced drinks and food and generally fairly populated so a decent atmosphere.
