Comedy Theatre reviews
74 Staff are friendly and place has a lovely feel.
Seats are comfy and it has a great view.
Very organised and everything runs on time.
Great venue to see any act.
Great venue to see any act. Great views no matter where you sit. Old style but very comfortable seating
Great old building. Seats are a bit cozy and steep but that’s just a minor issue. Staff were friendly and place has a lovely feel
I have seen several shows here. But being able to see Wil Anderson finally talk about being arrested in Wogga Wogga was possibly the best $50 I have ever spent. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is always top notch and this was no exception. Thanks also to TOFOP entertainment (every one of you guys are brilliant in your roles) and the staff at the comedy theater. Brilliant night
Great place. Reminds me of grandma's lounge without the cookies and racist comments. Miss you grandma
Beautiful decor inside, staff were fantastic, great view from the top section just be prepared for the stairs!
Cosy venue, nice atmosphere, a bit hard to move around because the main entrance is too small for the total theatre capacity
Conveniently located.
Close to heaps of restaurants and bars for before or after show fun.
Great views from every seat.
Lovely atmosphere for shows of all types.
A beautiful venue, enjoyment is dependent on the act, they lined up people like cattle before opening entry, not good.
Been here many times. Old school theatre in the heart of Melbourne. Close to heaps of dinning and bars for before or after show fun.
A great but rarely used theatre, but try to get tickets to lower levels as the upper level view of the stage is at a weird angle as shown
Great atmosphere for shows of all types. Nice early 20th century look, but with full capacity for state of the art productions and performances.
The performance I saw at the time was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside are the seats which were plastic and hard.
Top class theatre! Green days American idiot was an entirely fantastic show and the staff are an absolute godsend (I lost my wallet and they got it back to me in less than 30mins)
