Comedy Theatre reviews
74 Great atmosphere, great production, very comfortable seats.
Only one downside the stage lights were way too bright.
We got here for A Christmas Carol. I love the leather seat. The venue are also spacious, so it’s easy to go in and out. Bathroom are clean and also a lot available for use. Staffs are friendly. Such a nice theatre!
Saw Tom Gleeson, absolutely perfect! Great venue seats were so comfy and easy to get in and out
Wonderful place to go with great comedy, was very very warm in there with the usual 50 dollars for a small drink but you have to do what you have to do. Never the less it's a good laugh
Great venue. It is probably not massive like some fo the other venues around the city but have all the features needed. I went for Drumming Queens show and they even had floating stages and a brilliant creative lightings to go with the show. There are options to buy a drink before you go in and you can take the drinks inside. The bubbles were nice. That was my first time to this venue from memory and will be back!
Lovely theatre. Had to lean a bit to the left to see the stage properly, I was on the end of row Q in the stalls.
The play was absolutely amazing.
Incredible how a story so good could come from such a tragic action.
The actors were brilliant and a credit to their profession. Such a joy, great to have our theatres open again.
An old theatre but seating is comfortable with good visibility. Forget Covid. We were seated cheek by jowl and if you had a drink - no mask!
Lovely little venue. Great atmosphere and architecture. Very much of an era, as it reminded me of the Princess Theatre when I saw a show there. Lovely staff and customer service at the venue, can highly recommend
Show was great but theater showing its age and has anything being done since 1928
Seats narrow had lady beside me half on me
So many great comedians have come through here. The place has a great atmosphere and there are lots of bars to get your refreshments.
A Melbourne icon that overflows with character and historic charm. But let's be honest, it's the performance that matters here.
Wonderful show, would recommend it. Very quick access to theatre & seats & we could quickly leave after show. Unfortunately got freezing cold from air conditioning
An ornate and quite beautiful theatre. Professional staff and Covid arrangements in place and well done. Certainly worth 'a night at the theatre'.
Come From Away is one of the stages most heartfelt productions. Filled with great music and production, nothibg distracts the audience from the truth of it's beautiful story. Brilliantly cast with performers and musicians. Melbourne will miss you.
Now this was my first time at a theatre
I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but once the music started I got chills up my neck.
I really enjoyed the show and how they take a few people and a few props and make a great show
The atmosphere is great
Thank you for a great night out.
And thanks to my lovely partner for making it happen
Tom Gleeson. You are an extremely funny man. Good luck in your quest for a second Logie. Shhhhh sorry that was to remain a secret. What a wonderful show to go to. A great laugh and a chance to remember and appreciate how life was before Cov19. Venue is perfect for this type of event.
Great place, second visit. Front row of the dress circle for Tommy Little was a great view. Facilities clean. Bar and food available. Comfy seating and temperature was also comfortable. Plenty of parking nearby and great dining options for a pre show meal.
Loved the show, Come from away.
Only problem is the old seats not that comfortable for the average Aussie male.
