Reception staff is so horrible.few doctors are really good thats why go there otherwise management is also not good.

Took them three visits and two bloodtests to still not be able to diagnose a simple skin condition that another GP diagnosed in 2 seconds of looking at.
I came back today cause I need a referral, figured even they couldn't screw that up. But I was wrong, they made me wait for almost an hour, then when I asked how much longer it'd be they said the doctor was probably out to lunch and they weren't sure.
I don't like complaining on the internet, but I genuinely hope you do not go here, for your own sake.

Dr Maher Luka is an absolutely wonderful Dr who has been looking after me for many many years. He goes above and beyond to assist me when I am ill and is very thorough during my consultation. Regardless of how busy the clinic is, he never makes me feel rushed. He never hesitates to write me a referral or send me for tests if they are required. He is also a really lovely person who is easy to talk to and, is genuinely passionate and invested in obtaining good health outcomes for his patients. I can't recommend him highly enough!

The clinic is excellent is giving you walk in appointment almost all year along. But this comes at a price: poor practitioners who often make poor diagnosis. I have learned this by experience over my previous few visits.

Dr Maher Luka is very experienced, precise and friendly. The good thing Iike about this clinic is it is open until 11 with friendly staff.

I have never left a bad review before but felt I needed to as a duty of care to anyone who might see Dr Alfy Habib. My first visit to Coburg Family Medical Center I met with Dr Habib for what was the worst doctors appointment I have ever had. During the appointment he was demeaning and uninterested. He totally neglected to inform me of my options and possible avenues of treatment. Treatments which I have later found out are extremely common and the industry standard.

Today I returned to Coburg Family Medical Center for a different reason and when booking my appointment neglected to ask to not see Dr Habib, which was my own fault. He was condescending, rude and then when confronted with my feedback from my last visit with him, he simply did not respond and then made snide comments regarding the feedback before totally neglecting to ask about or check any of my symptoms.

When booking your appointment make a point to ask not to see Dr Habib and If you have seen Dr Habib in the past I strongly urge you to seek a second opinion.

All other staff I have encountered here are professional and polite.

Bad customer service.i waited for 45 min for a doctor that is not in clinic and found out that he is off duty

Very poorly managed, waiting period very very high; if you are looking speedy and cooperative service, avoid this one.

Really this place is pretty awful and only good for for doctors signatures on paper, or in other words secretarial services from ppl professing to be medical professionals. If you actually need proper medical advice, forget it. And even then they fail miserably at being secretaries.

Been coming for various pregnancy referalls for my wife (actual advice comes from elsewhere) and it's breathtaking how bad the doctors are. They forget or won't add things to the paperwork. I have to tell them what to write down because they are so incompetent. Imagine a pregnant woman having to go back again and again cos of this. Latest is Dr Habib not even bothering to write the address of our referral hospital, leaving me a blank referall form that took hours to sort out on my own.

I will say that 100% of doctors are from overseas and trained overseas (maybe 80%+ of patients are too) and I question enormously how they happen to end up in their positions (fake degrees?).

Additional points: receptionists are helpful but very young, waiting rooms are small, cramped and unpleasant. You will often be forgot about and need to chase up if you are on the waiting list.

Please be aware and informed.

The doctors don’t listen or care. It’s great they have extensive opening hours but sadly the service & treatment provided is terrible.

DONOT go to Dr. HABIB. Don’t why the practice still has him regardless of so many compliants. He will not take your problem seriously and would say it is temporary just give it time and it will settle down. I had asthma for 3 weeks and asked if he could gave me a strong inhaler and he said no need for that just take some time and it will go off eventually. I mean how irresponsible he is. I couldn’t sleep at night and had this cough and difficulty in breathing and he is telling me it will settle itself instead of giving me the treatment. He will actually make fun of you by laughing. He said you are too bit concerned about your health and that’s what your problem is. You ask for different opinions and taking it too seriously.
I mean Wow. Looks like he is just there to do his shift and take money home. No concers about patients health. Dr. I hope you read this and think before you speak.
If i were incharge i would fire you and wouldn’t let the you play with patients life.

Dr. Saman Tariq has been our family doctor for over an year she deals us very professionally and courtesly. She understands families and people from our culture in a much better way than other doctors we have seen in Melbourne. Thank you for your care would highly recommend

The majority of the doctors at this practice are arrogant and incompetent. At least on three occasions I have been prescribed the wrong dosage to a prescription. Another time I was prescribed medication that interacted negatively to a prescribed medication I was taking. I believe the main interest of this practice is getting through as many patients as possible for the money. Please don't go there if you are sick.

I visited two days ago. I saw a doctor and showed my problem. He called his fellow doctor and said it was because of the insect bite. I told them it was not. They tried to convince me and prescribed one medicine. I applied the medicine but it had 0 effect on me. Next day, I went there again and visited a lady doctor (Asian). She observed properly and told it was not due to insect bite. She prescribed some medicine which cured my health problem. The other two guys gave me wrong treatment.

Dr. Saman tariq is the best GP i found in coburg family medical centre. I always go to her for consultation. Simply she is the best. She listens me very well, understand and explain everything in a perfect manner. Moreover her advice always works in a best way. Highly recommended if u r looking for best GP.

Very disappointing - Paid for my private service and waited for around 1hr while the doctor was busy with his private calls etc even though I PAID for my service and sick like anything. The doctor I saw today was rubbish and doesn't care about patients but just keen on making money off people. The other doctor had time to view 6 patients while this one was doing his private calls and I waited.

Very worst customer service. The Indian woman in the reception doesn’t know how to behave with customer. Keep the patients waiting rather than helping

So dirtey! Someone need to paint the walls is no good very old doctor is never clean the bed no wipe nothing people stink too much. Me never coming back it make me more sick. No one clean this dactur clinic no clean inside or outside

Appalling customer service. I called to see how busy they were, they put me on hold for over 15 minutes without even asking what l was calling for. By the time they answered, my wife had driven there and was seeing a Doctor and the desk staff admitted it was "quiet". Disgusting service by a medical center.
