The room service food was quick and convenient. In the nicest way, the standard of the food could improve. Great location. Thanks for having us:)

Rooms were not 4 star as suggested on review platforms, 3 at most. Rooms were clean, although not well appointed. Concierge did he best to provide service, however let down by the Rooms and Decor. Disappointed, better around for the price. Air conditioning unit defective, moved to another room at 330am, this was no better.

Our only purpose to stay at this hotel was to be close to Urbnsurf. The pictures from their website looks 10 times better than what the hotel actually looks like. The food was mostly Asian cuisine so we ate all meals at Urbnsurf across the road. Asked if we could have some more shampoo and conditioner sent up to the room but we were told to come down to the reception to get it ourselves because this was only a 3 1/2 star hotel.

After a day of cancelled flights. I was a little disappointed with the in room entertainment. Signage and brochures advertised Foxtel. Yet only had a dvd player, a small library of outdated DVDs and free to air. But apart from that. The rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable and allowed for a great night's sleep. Also great shuttle service to and from Melbourne airport. Special mention goes out to the bar staff that hooked me up with a monster chicken parmigiana.

I spoke on the phone with a lady (Sun 14: 00) who hung up before I could finish asking my questions regarding making a booking.
I told her I have some questions, asked about the shuttle service and after she answered, she quickly said thankyou bye and hung up.
Very rude considering I was waiting on hold for around 10 minutes to ask 2 simple questions.
Because of this I've decided to book elsewhere.

I had to book a night in Melbourne because Virgin cancelled my return flight from Perth, so missed my connection, booked a standard room last minute and when I arrived at 1am at Ciloms, they had given me an upgrade OMG super happy after my day, staff very friendly considering the time have stayed here many times and have had good and bad experiences, but this one was awesome and has me well and truly back on board as a Ciloms loyal guest

Excellent location close to airport, free airport shuttle- very quick, so convenient, close to urban surf outdoor wave pool & 3 ducks cafe, comfy beds, swimming pool & spa- bardic but sufficient for overnight stay

Great location for the airport and the wave park. Comfortable for a nights stay. Has an onsite bar and bistro which is handy. And vending machines

Booking this hotel literally saved the day after my flight to Sydney got canceled and it was the last of the night. The room was very nice and the front desk members were beyond friendly and their service went above and beyond my expectations. They even had arranged a free shuttle for me to get back to the airport at 4: 00am, and we took off on-time! I’m so grateful that I chose to stay here and for the impeccable hospitality of the front desk.

The guy with the thick accent on the front reception was hostile and rude. The manifest hostility was so bad, I am reporting him to the police. His behaviour was very suspicious and people like this, taking advantage of our beautiful country and everything that it has to offer, have to be called out for their double standards. I checked in around 2: 30 in the morning, very tired. The man was rude, arrogant and then literally threw the room key at me. I had no idea which way to go to find the room, etc. This is unacceptable, and I say, he has to be called out and held accountable by being on the radar of the authorities.

Average and dated hotel. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Cleanliness was ok but needs attention to detail, eg remote control was caked in crud. The chain lock on door was broken and staff could be friendlier and more welcoming

We stayed here 2 times; both just laying a day over after long flight. Although great location next to Urbnsurf and close to airport with good airport shuttle, we feel really mistreated by the fact that both times the gym and sauna were closed; both times they tried to lay it off with the excuse "last week it got ruined by other guests". The first time you got our sympathy, but using it again, not mentioning or knowing the other "breakdown" is just falsely. Also, the wifi was down and instead of getting technician or resetting the router, they simply blamed it on our devices.how can that be counted for any service? Aircon sticky and not working properly. Never coming back again.

We are repeated customer of this lodge. The spa bath and the fact that this is close to the airport is very convenient. They have a van exclusively for their customers checking in and dropping us off from the airport which is a big plus.

A convenient stay, we flew in late to Tullamarine - it was easy to find. Upon entering the room, it had a strong smell but everything was clean and tidy. Good for a short overnight stay.

These people know there business and it shows. We, like many other have stayed here before. Great meals served well. Unfortunately the buffet is not yet reopen post COVID. Quiet, serviceable rooms, long term parking, airport transfers 24/7.

Great service. Coming in from Ballarat for a very early flight, the stay, park and shuttle bus combo was super quick and easy.

Brilliant place to stay and so close to the airport, free shuttle bus, rooms large, clean and very well stocked.

Management was unhelpful and rude. They took an extra $200 from me. Not staying there ever again.

Traveling by myself, there was a mistake with my booking through expedia (who tried to help) which meant 2 rooms were booked instead of 1.

I only was made aware of this the night I got there because no 2nd comfirmation was sent to me but I was charged 2x on my credit card.

When I contacted expedia to get a refund for the room I didn't use or need, they explained refunds had to go througg the hotel. So they got in touch with Ciloms who said NO to the refund.

I contacted Cilom and the person who answered was rude, unhelpful and just wanted to get me off the phone. She honestly sounded annoyed that I even called the hotel.

They said to contact expedia again during 9-5, i did that and told them the issue again, they contacted Ciloms again and again said no without reason why.

Even the expedia staff said they were surprised and felt bad about the situation however they were unable to do anything.

So in the end.

The room was fine. BUT 1-star because:

1. Paying double for it (like $400) due to not getting the refund for the unused room/booking mistake.

2. Having to deal with the day manager like that with her attitude and phone manner.

= No way am I ever staying or recommending that hotel after that experience.

We stayed the night before a flight out of Melbourne. The room was very clean, bed comfortable with the room rather small, yet all we needed. The staff happily booked our shuttle bus for early hours if the morning together with a wake up call. Great value for money and would stay again for the same reasons.
