Chai 'N' Chilli reviews
74 Always look forward to our visits to Chai n Chilli! The food is absolutely yummy. Personal favourites are the Sabudana Vada and Dabeli, although everything is exceptional! It’s always our first choice when craving home food!
We had also approached Sonali for catering for a home event, and the food did not disappoint! It was beautifully prepared and all our guests loved it. Thanks team Chai n Chilli!
Excellent food. Chai and chilli provides you with the authentic Marathi style food alongside following all street foods if you are craving to have Indian masaaledaar food then must visit Chai and chili for sure. The new recent dish they have added is Ragada Pani- Puri the essence that

Nothing beats the authentic misal pav and vada pav Mumbai style

Excellent Maharashtrian Mumbai food in Melbourne with the most phenomenal team. Thank you so much for the most delicious food that fulfilled our cravings after a long time.
Authentic Indian flavours, just had our first order yesterday and I must say of all the Indian food I ever had outside of India, this place is a real chartbuster. Batata Vada, the best I ever had. Dabeli was also full of flavours. Too bad this place is not open on weekends: (
Thumbs Up. - Nish
The food was amazing Authentic India taste. Reminded me of my home. The Aamras puri and the Sabudana wada are a must try. The staff is very friendly and accommodated to all our requests. Will definitely visit again.
Amazing and authentic Maharashtrian food. The Misal Pav is a must try along with the Mumbai Bhel and the Poori Bhaaji Aamras and Shrikhand.
Tried the sabudana wada and wada paav and was not disappointed. Probably the best ones I've tried in Australia. It is a little bit on the spicier side though! The paav served was not hot, though, but I personally didn't mind it as the wada was hot enough. Service was quick and efficient. Very reasonably priced too, with good quality. Thanks for bringing the delight of Maharashtrian food, which is not as highly represented in Indian restaurants in Aus.
Amazing food and a beautiful story behind the food you taste there, do take the time to speak to the owner of the place.
Vada pav is amazing and will definitely go there again and again and again.
It's ok ok.had great expectations but all are shattered.thought they have proper indian foods especially from Mumbai Pune but no.vada pav which you served is not fresh the one we get in Mumbai is freshly made.misal was all water I had Misal from Nasik Mumbai Pune Kolhapur. Tea was also pre made and re heated
All items were just awesomely tasty.had Vadapav, Masala Pav, Paneer wrap, Dabeli and Chai.
At our request they specially made sugar free Chai.
Was in a rush as I couldn't find a nearby parking spot. The owner was assistive and helped us have some items dine-in whilst some provided as takeaway. Thank You!
Service was swift too.
So many delicacies left to taste yet.
Will definitely visit again with more time to spare: D
If you love indian street food then this is the place to visit! Wide range of chat items with amazing taste that will definitely remind you of home. Pity that it's not open during the weekends but I sure am a loyal fan now!

Delicious Maharashtrian food. Has excellent vada pavs, chai and thalipeeth. Probably the only worthwhile indian restaurant in Melbourne
I got curious about Vada Pav and made a search on where to get it near Docklands. Luckily Chai 'N' Chilli is open and I got to order my first Vada Pav there. There Vada Pav is delicious and tasty and I will go back there again for more.
The food is extremely authentic, Reminds us of the homely Marathi food of the Marathis in Mumbai. Very proud of these people who brought and are promoting marathi food culture in Australia. The only cafe that serves indian morning breakfast which is super delicious.
Well done, keep up the great cooking.
We ordered misal pav, thalpith and vada pav. It was delicious. Owner is very kind, as soon as she noticed misal had access salt, she replaced the dish immediatly. It was a good experience.
My go to place for chai and samosa. Poha and Veg cutlets are awesome. Finally an indian place for chai and samosa.
