Chai 'N' Chilli reviews
74 Amazing Maharashtrian food!
Lovely customer service.
A place to visit when in the city!
I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by its cleanliness and tidiness. The diverse menus set it apart from other establishments, offering a unique selection that stands out.
A highlight is the signature Maharashtrayan cuisine, featuring must-try dishes like Kothimbir Wadi and Maharashtrian Misal.
The owner's friendly and caring adds a personal touch to the dining experience. A must-visit place for those seeking a delightful culinary adventure.
Overpriced comparing the quantity they serve.some items are highly overpriced like the Kothimbir vadi and few others.
Amazing food and great service. The Zhunka Bhakri was my favourite. If you are after that spicy (zhanzhanit) missal then do try that out as well.
Delicious Food. Authentic Taste of Indian Food. Donmeet the owner he is so friendly and welcoming fet like home.
If you are a Mumbaikar and in Melbourne, this is the place for you to savour your favourite Maharashtrian dishes.i tried Chole Kulcha, Sabudhana Vada, Sabudhana Kichdi and Thali Peeth. Kiran and his team were fantastic.highly recommended.
We were in search of tangy and spicy veg restaurant and went to c&c.owner is agujju bhai poses as maharastrian dishes are contrast to restaurant name. Over all service is good, food is average.
If you like the hot and spicy Maharashtrian food in Melbourne, then Chai 'N' Chilli is a place for you!
From 'Zalzalit' misal to yummy vadapav and kothambir vadi they have everything!
Went there first time and ordered Misal pav.
It was too hot for my liking. The hotness of the chilli was so overpowering that I could not taste any other flavours. Plus I expected ‘pohe’ in the mix of misal which was missing.
I’m sure the other items would be amazing and I’ll go there again to try other items.
Best place to satisfy your Bombay street food urge. Authentic taste, superior service and a very warm staff. Vada pav, dabeli and sev puri are a must try.
IT'S ALL VEGETARIAN. ALL OF IT.
The food is absolutely amazing and full of flavor; was blown away considering it's a tiny, out of the way place. Genuinely worth a trip.
The Ragda Patties are really good if you're not adventurous and want something sweet and super flavorful. But the staff will happily help you and give advice!
I ordered Samosa Chat and Chai. The chai was very ordinary and the samosa chat was bland. No spice, less salt and no yogurt.
Finally authentic Mumbai street food in Melbourne. Excellent service by Kiran and tasty food by Sonali. Please maintain or up this standard.
Finally authentic Mumbai street food. Kiran's service with a smile and tasty food by Sonali. Ekdum mast.
Bloody fantastic food. Wada pav n pav bhaji oooooh to die for.
Kiran Joshi wonderful customer service with a smile
I love the food and the dishes are truly authentic to the Maharashtrian cuisine, which is my go to restaurant whenever I crave some Bombay/Pune food. But I don’t know why their opening hours are so weird and whenever I look up to order from them, it’s closed! They just open from Monday to Wednesday and evenings only? I have no idea what business model they have in mind but I’m pretty sure it would be a win-win situation for the owners and the customers if they keep it open at least for the weekends.
I’d surely give 5 stars if they listen to this feedback
Best Indian street style food I have ever tatsed in Melbourne. Fabulous authentic maharasthrian taste. Owner (Kiran Joshi) bhau…lai majja ali.
Amazing food, if you are craving to have pure maharashtrian or mumbai food, this is the place to visit. The food and drinks are as amazing as the chef/owners who cooks them. Love this place.
This place is prity good, good decent taist, great staf and reasonable price. Should try it once. Have their Bombay sandwich? The best.
One of my friends told me about this place and since then I have visited this place quite a few times. The owner/host is absolutely sweet and friendly. You can always experience a warm welcome. It is open for limited hours. Great authentic Maharashtrian food. Love the sabudana vada and dabeli. 100% recommended
