Very poor customer service, taking covid measures to the extreme with zero consideration to customers. Originally l was sold a faulty product, l received an SMS yesterday to say it was ready for pickup. I went there straight after work arriving around 5pm. There was a queue of 10 people before me, starting at the door leading into the carpark. A guy came out, got details of their click and collect, for me he took my repair docket, he then went back inside and gathered everyone's items and brought them to a table set up just in side the door, then we went in 1 by 1 to finish our business, this took about1/2 of lining up outside in the freezing cold, although l had a thick coat on with a hood l (like everyone else) was freezing, my hands were blue by the time l got in there. There were at least 3 other people inside, why couldn't they get the items for this guy hence reducing the wait time, he had no assistance from the others. Also this is a very large store/building, they could easily re-arrange things so as business can be conducted inside whilst still being covid safe making it better for their clients. As for my repair, l was unable to get a repair report, the guy wrote down an email address for me to request one, which l tried this morning but it bounced as the address he wrote down is incorrect, so l tried to ring this morning but they don't open till 10am. Very slack, l will try never to go back there.

Disgusting customer service received from this business. I Purchased an ASUS z490-e which returned an error 55 and ran on multiple test benches. Was advised by ASUS to return the board as this was apparently a common issue with these boards. Centre com refused to test the board with the same build in order to recreate the issue. Claiming that my request for return was due to change of mind and not in alignment with their returns policy.
Would not recommend purchasing from this business in the future if you wish to be guaranteed on the parts purchased.

Placed an order online the card verification system hasn't worked. They refuse to ring to help me sort it out.
Customer service is an absolute joke.

Purchased item which was later confirmed faulty by manufacturer who instructed me to return to place of purchase for refund/exchange.

Made the 3/4 hr drive during working hours (as they do not process warranties on weekends at all.) only to be told there was nothing wrong, and refusing further assistance.

Contact via their website was much more helpful, informing me to (once again) return it to the store. Posted item. Fault confirmed. Refund via bank deposit offered, only to be rescinded and store credit given.

I informed them I was after a refund, and they told me I'd have to make the 3/4 hour drive (each way) to process it in the branch. No bank deposit. No card refund over the phone.

Meanwhile a replacement (on a relatively cheap item) would've sorted it out on the spot on my first visit.

Avoid these guys like the plague. Anti-consumer behaviour. No help when things go wrong.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - BUY FROM HERE WITH CAUTION!

Took my monitor in for warranty issues, came back with now Back light bleeding and random tearing here and there.

Sent off to manifacturer but to come back with no fault.

When i dropped off the monitor the box and everything in the box was all there and perfectly fine.
When i was told it was ready to be picked back up.

The box was fully damaged dropped on all of its corners and ripped and just taped up like nothing happened.

As i inspected the box i was missing Power cords/panels to the back of the screen / manuals / receipts all missing, Its been months and i was told by a guy name Ian at the front desk he will get onto it, I was been given the run around each time i try to contact them and that theyll put me onto someone. All bloody useless, At this point i dont even care about the missing parts anymore, NEVER AGAIN, will i buy from Here!
Ive spent countless dollars here but never will i shop here again, If i could put -5 Stars i would.

They just take your money and dont take care of you afterwards. SO BUY FROM HERE WITH CAUTION.

Awful experience. I paid online for a laptop an it asked for verification of my card by drawing a small amount from it and asking me to enter this amount. I did that and it didn’t work. Then I had to cancel the order.

All phone support is stopped because of the restrictions. Can only send a ticket online.

I then ordered a pick and collect from sunshine and paid for it (pay pal this time) and arrived there two hours later to be told order is on hold. The people at the counter were not helpful. Then I raised an online ticket to expedite and I got an email saying that I need to send a copy of my license.

I don’t think I will be returning to centre com again!

Cashier was disinterested and the ridiculous nature of having to literally turn around to show my invoice and be ask did you just buy this from the security guard takes away from the customer experience in an otherwise value-driven business.

It should be a 3 star but the floor staff who helped we're really customer-driven and provided great service which deserves an extra star.

Laptop started flickering and color temperature keep on changing after less than a month of use. Was told to send back to check on the issue and make repairs. Came back to pickup the laptop and to check if the issue still persists and it still persists. The service center guy was very understanding and nice, he went through the laptop to verify the issue and indeed it is still happening. Promptly given the refund without any further questions, service was top-notch and fast. Highly recommend this place for any type of electronics as customer service was excellent.

Horrible service- Would give zero stars if I could. Went in for a phone battery replacement. Booked online thru Apple, then called store to confirm it would take 1hr. Structured the rest of my day around that. When I dropped off the phone they said 4 hours.
Whats the point of having an online booking service with scheduled times if you cant stick to it? Storepersons response was "go to Apple Highpoint". Well maybe well all should and this crowd can close their doors.
Poor service and bad representation of the Apple brand.

Would not recommend at all! Had my PC fixed at the repair centre earlier this year and now there is the same fault with the computer. This is the second time that I am having to go and take it to be repaired. And mind you they charge $55 diagnosis fee which has added up for me $110 for the two repairs. They take a long time to finish the job too. It took them 3 weeks to repair mine and they said it would only take a few days.

Extremely poor customer service. Stay clear. The few dollars you might save in short term aren't worth the trouble in the long term. Warranty service is unprofessional, slow and don't follow consumer law. This is not to mention the poor quality PC building service. No testing of the build before shipping causing hassles and avoidable returns.

I've had inconsistent experiences here. I just got off the phone to the store and was told to 'be quick' as the store is busy. The phone service is weird and really bad. I thought it was pretty rude as I am a customer looking to spend money and am now considering taking my business elsewhere. With the vibe I got off the gentlemen on the phone, I don't think they would care anyway!

Can't say I've had an amazing experience - ordered a laptop 3 weeks ago. Was shipped express, didn't arrive due to an issue with address. There was then issues back and forth between Centrecom and Auspost. I've paid for express shipping again and its now ben 2 weeks since then to today where i've discovered its been sent back to sender. All in all, the guys at Centrecom provide good service but waiting 3+ weeks for something ive paid express shipping on twice is unacceptable.

Had to go around to 3 different desks only to be told that they wouldn't accept a return on a PSU because it came from a different centrecom store. Very average experience and staff could have been better about it

Had to cancel my order because the product I ordered was out of stock. 3 days and still no refund. They even charge you handling fee for paypal. Avoid at all costs. It takes not more than a minute to refund from their paypal account.

Stock here is often very expensive compared to other computer stores. However employees are very friendly and willing to help.
