Returned a faulty 7900XTX last week to a gernerally rude and short tempered service counter. Provided a Video of the card crashing and an extensive list of troubleshooting steps I completed. Tried on two different machines, still crashing. Replaced the card with a RTX3080 and 1080Ti, no issues.

When I follow up, I'm told by Centrecom there's nothing wrong with the faulty card. I request further information on the testing process, but are denied any further information by Joey.

This is some of the worst customer service I have ever recieved. I will never purchase anything from Centrecom again. No wonder Centrecom Sunshine is the worst rated store they have.

This matter has now been escalated to the ACCC and Consumer Affairs.

Bought a $3000 computer in August 2021. Received the computer and after 5 months I sent it back as battery was lasting only 2 hours. Received it with new battery 1 month later and with no updates on the matter. July 2022 sent it back as screen wasn’t working, received it back after a month and with an email saying that the LCD Panel has a HAIR stuck inside since it was manufactured, so they will extend me warranty for 6 months, but I can’t ask neither for refund nor replacement of notebook. I have to send it back to get fix again and let’s see which is the next problem. Is this a joke or what? Worst shopping experience ever, worst customer service ever, will never recommend this place nor MSI brand. Find photos attached as how my screen fells down every time I open the notebook after they “fixed” this problem.

Tried to call centrecom to see if my click and collect that I ordered yesterday was ready, called at 10: 04am started off in position 4 in que and I hung up at 11: 22am in position 2 in que. In terms of customer service I wish I could rate it lower then one star. This is whilst advertising they have a 1 hour click and collect! Do yourself a favour and don't even waste your time calling this place.

Didn't get the name of who was serving me at the click and collect. After I stuffed up by not realising I didn't get a confirmation email yet pushed 3 orders asap just to get to mine. Carried the monitor from the back by himself and then even though it was not offered to drop it off in the car. Absolute legend.

I made two orders with Centre Com and each time I selected Australia Post delivery however Centre Com, without any consultation, used a service called "XpressToYou".

The first order I got multiple emails saying the package was out for delivery. Why? Because each day they tried delivering it they failed to find the address. The third time XpressToYou claimed it was signed by me and I only got told otherwise when I called them. XpressToYou doesn't notify you when your package is marked as delivered so I only found this out by chance by checking the tracking manually throughout the day. Turns out, at least Xpress to you claims, the delivery person accidentally entered my full name as the one signing and hit whatever button (s) on his tablet to mark it has delivered. They claimed the driver was unable to reach the address.

Kogan, Amazon, Australia Post, Door Dash, and more didn't have any problem getting to the address however apparently it was completely inaccessible and difficult to find for Xpress to you. Mwave delivered a package through Star Track fine, a small eBay seller for a heatsink delivered through Australia Post fine.

I got the first package eventually. The second? I probably never will. They delivered it to the house across despite house numbers being clear on the front door, the neighbours claimed they were me, signed for it, and now the police are involved because they won't give it back and essentially forged my signature. I'll likely never get my item back and I'm not on call with Centre Com requesting a refund.

At around 4: 45PM I was told the item was about 15-20 minutes away. At around 5PM the tracking number page updated and said it was delivered around 12: 30PM and signed by me. I wasn't even in the house at the time. I only found out my package was stolen and marked as delivered around 5PM when it happened around 12: 30PM because again you have to be checking the tracking manually. They don't notify you at all.

I didn't want XpressToYou to deliver especially after the first time and despite both times selecting Australia Post as delivery they chose to use them.

Such a shame. The products are quality and good price and yet they cheap out on delivery even if you spend more for free delivery with Australia Post.

The person on the phone was beyond incompetent. He claimed Centre Com uses Xpress to you because Australia Post has had delays. In a time where online shopping is at an all time high and we're near Christmas of course I know this. I don't care. He claims Australia Post has had delays around 3-7 days. Xpress to you has had delays around the same however with my package being stolen I think I would have preferred it being a little late.

I selected Australia Post and I know the pros and cons of selecting Australia Post. I chose Centre Com because my order would have free delivery with them making them about $10-15 cheaper then other sites that would charge for the items delivery. I, the customer paid, for Australia Post not Xpress to you and now my item is stolen.

I just want a refund. I don't care if MWave, Scorptech, New Egg, etc charge delivery at least they won't pull something like this.

The person on the phone did not get it so I had to put it in basic terms. I paid for one service, you gave me another that was far inferior, and now I don't want to do business with you.

It's the equivalent of saying "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" and the free item is different to what is advertised. It doesn't matter if you advertised it as free you still didn't give me what I paid for. I can't believe I had to explain this to him.

I've made a ACCC report because ironically days before this incident I opened a ticket with Centre Com why they use such a terrible delivery service and they didn't respond. Now my package is stolen and I'm waiting for Centre Com to call me back for an update.

Accidentally bought the wrong motherboard along with 5 other parts. Despite their policy on returns being very clear, I tried anyway and was pleasantly surprised by the process. Got great service today (even though they don't normally do these kinds of returns/warranty claims on weekends) and will buy from here again.

I previously gave them a 2 star review but this time they came up trumps. I purchased a computer, but didnt have hdmi or display port working, and they replaced it on the spot. 5 stars!

Bought one Sata and one M. 2 enclosure on Saturday. Installed Sata enclosure easily enough, but when tried the M. 2, it didn't fit because of differences in keys (notches) brought it back and hoping to get the right one. After spending 15mins waiting for technical support and another 10 for him to tell me to get the right one which double in price but then I was told he had to charge a 15% restocking fee because it was opened. My old Samsung 950 PRO M. 2 didn't say what key it was and without open the box then open the enclosure and try to insert it, you will never know whether it's going to fit or not. 15% for restocking is a bit much.have to think twice about buying things in here from now on.

Came here a few weeks back to buy parts for my PC build & honestly the sales attendant (initial's C. T) was great! He answered all my queries & the people there were great, would definitely come back again

Always have a bad experience here in terms of customer service and hoops I have to jump through to make a return. Would be nice if the service would make sure the product meets your needs before you leave the store. They aren't the cheapest compared to Scorptec and PC Case gear, so little more effort would be nice. Seriously have to put more effort into avoiding centrecom in the future.

One of the worst experiences i have had to date. Staff are rude and unpleasant. This is the worst IT shop in Australia. If you wish to be treated like cattle, then continue shopping here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and buy from Scorptec or somewhere else. DO NOT BUY FROM CENTRECOM SUNSHINE

I've dealt with Centre Com Sunshine a few times in the past and service has always been great, but I was extremely impressed recently when I was rounding up tax receipts to claim. I couldn't find a Tax Invoice for a complete desktop PC that was purchased months ago.

It was purchased instore, and all that I had were details from my credit card statement.

I sent an email just after closing time on Sunday, and was surprised to receive a response after hours from Jenjie M (Centre Com Online).
Jenjie tried to locate it but had no luck.

I thought that all hope was lost, until first thing on Monday morning, when store manager Denis emailed it across to me.

I know that it's only a small thing, and relatively easy for them to retrieve, but it's still first class 'after-sales' service like this that wins them repeat business!

Thanks heaps guys!:)

Been a customer of Centrecom for many years and spent thousands of dollars with them. Today's experience just awfull. Made an order for 1.7K, paid for next business day delivery. 3 weeks - nothing. Requested refund (were happy store credit, but half order is out of stock already) - rejected.
"Guys you will loose your customer" "Yeah that's OK we don't care". Awesome. Keep going same way guys.
Paypal will sot it out.

I do not know why I continue to shop with this company.

Customer service takes days to reply to emails, their phone system keeps you on hold for 30 minutes then hangs up when you get to the front of the que and getting anything sorted via warranty is a pain in the neck.

Spend a little more and go with PLE or somewhere reputable because these guys are a joke

*Update* - I replied to your 9: 10am email at 2: 32pm + sent a video link showing the faulty mouse (as you requested), that email was never replied to and the video hasn't been downloaded or viewed.

I sent a follow up email on 22/10 asking if the someone was monitoring the email thread to no response.

This is when I called but was disconnected after 30 minutes on hold.

I've checked spam and there's no lost emails

Thanks to the guy (British or American) who was kind enough to let us click and collect even though technically we couldn't. It was super urgent and we appreciate it so much!

Purchased a bunch of parts and after putting it all together it would not run. I sent it to the local PC store who told me it was a faulty ram card. I dropped it off at centrecom and within 1 hour, I was told it was not faulty after "extensive" testing. I spent more time driving too and from centrecom sunshine than they spent doing their testing. After complaining they said they would replace it but after picking up the ram cards the next day, its still not working when the faulty ram card is used. I later found out that they just gave me the original ram card back by mistake, resulting in another trip to Sunshine.

In the end I took the computer to centrecom and had them fix it. Going from 1 to 2 stars because they resolved it in the end.
