I have been in the I. T Field for 10 years some of which i spent in government,
I have never experience problems like this and i have dealt with Umart, PC case gear,
even MSY, all other Australian providers all of which have followed consumer rights. However i spent over $5000 in multiple systems with Centrecom,

First of all upon inspecting all products i found indications of over 60% of products sent refurbished.

Second the 3090 i ordered was running poorly since i got it in terms of performance, however when running another normal game it produced FPS lag due to temp,
even though the system it was in is worth over $10k with extremely efficient cooling.upon the fps lag the display went black and the fan rpm was stuck at 99%
rpm.at this point the card melted and was no longer functional.

Third the motherboard i had issues with the second it arrived x299 was one of the products that looked refurbished upon installing it correctly i noticed a few
issues which led to multiple sparks and fires.at this point i gave centrecom the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just a simple mistake. I sent back the
product they sent it back with no evidence that they even touched it let alone fixed it. I resume installing it into another simple system to test with working
products it did the same thing if not worse due to the problems it had before. At this point the products from centrecom has damage and/or affected all other
products it was linked to.

Fourth is the most absurd scam attempt ive ever witnessed in this field. I claimed warranty and refund for those faulty parts above specifiying the exact
order numbers and the exact specific information in order of what to refund and what to replace i requested for those faulty parts which caught on fire and
what ever its linked to for refund, then i requested the 3090 to be replaced ande sent back a "new" one at this point someone from centrecom staff team
executed a refund for the 3090 by itsself.mind you the 3090's have gone up in price since i purchased it at $2k They literally tried to scam me against
my will they tried to refund the 3090 which i advised against.they ignored my instructions and tried to benefit themselves.

Please what ever you do take my story into consideration and shop elsewhere do not let their free shipping fool you its not worth it.

Words can't describe how incompetent centrecom is, During the pandemic, I bought a Dell UltraSharp USB-C Monitor which was DOA. Upon trying to call CenterCom I discovered they had turned off their phones as they were only doing click and collect. I then raised a support ticket that they took serval days to respond to, I then responded with multiple videos and photos of the issues. They finally agreed to let me return the unit for a refund by Australia Post as they were only open for click and collect. After several days after Australia Post had delivered the screen to them, I still had no correspondence about the refund or that they had even received the display. Over the next week, I sent 2 emails trying to follow this up and got no responses. Then out of the blue, I get a message from Australia Post that a package has been shipped from CenterCom to my old address, I quickly contacted Australia Post to get it redirected to my actual address. The monitor arrived unrepaired and with multiple scratches and marks on the display. Knowing I wasn't going to get any meaningful response from Centercom I lodged a dispute with PayPal and submitted all the correspondence and evidence of shipment to centercom, Paypal then ruled the buyer protection case in my favour and instructed me to dispose of the faulty display as I was being refunded. After PayPal issued the refund I have been harassed nonstop by Thavro and Anek with threats of legal action.

As many others have stated, go elsewhere. Ordered some components online and everything was in stock. 1 month later I still hadn’t received it because the GPU wasn’t in stock (despite being in stock when I ordered it). They held the rest of my items instead of posting them out. After waiting for ages to get a reply they finally refunded the GPU and sent the rest out. But it doesn’t end there. I went into Centrecom Nunawadding to buy the GPU as I didn’t want to wait for shipping again. Once I got it home and got around to building the PC I found the GPU was DOA. So I took it back to the store and after waiting 30 minutes for it to be assessed, they wouldn’t give me a refund (which I am entitled to), only store credit. They were quite rude when I mentioned I’m entitled to a refund, and wouldn’t budge on the store credit. I didn’t want to waste any more time so I accepted the credit. But now they don’t have the GPUs in stock or anything close to it and I’m left with credit I can’t use and have to fork out more money to buy elsewhere. Total waste of time buying from this company, everything they do is so slow and they don’t have good customer service.

! ***MISLEADING***!

! ***MISINFORMATION***!

! ***POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE***!

! ***RUDE***!

! ***HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PROVIDE 0 SERIVICE***!

They seemed okay for my first few purchases until I ordered something and decided to cancel it that same day witch all seemed good I was told it’s fine and I’d have my money back into my account within 5 days so 5 days go by still nothing not even a confirmation email for the refund or anything so I messaged them again for them to tell me I’ll have my money within 5 days so I state it already been 5 day for them to reply they have only just done the refund and now have to wait a further 5-7 days witch would have been fine if it was stated to begin with that would be the time frame I was going to purchase another laptop from them but I think I’ll just be taking my money else where once I get it back.

Great prices and good range (but you need to factor in the credit card surcharge too). You're better off doing some homework first rather than just wandering in and expecting a complete rundown on the history of the microchip. The staff are polite but they're more likely to point you in the right direction. The store can also be a bit cluttered with more product than they have space so it can be a bit overwhelming when it's busy. Overall it's a good shop with decent prices but it helps if you know what you want.

The young female manager is best described as rude, bossy, officious and lacking in inter-personal skills. She seemed to be carrying emotional baggage. Apart from that the visit went relatively smoothly.

Bad experience ever. They have surcharge for credit cards. When I divided to pay cash ($50 for an adapter cost $15) they refused to sale because they don't have enough change. The girl was not wanting to explain my question. No hello, no good bye. Very rude.

First time purchasing a custom build gaming computer. The staff, particularly Chanboth, at centrecom nunawading were very helpful and knowledgeable. He painstakingly went through with me the parts I needed, advising which was best and compatible, keeping close to my budget. Excellent customer service both pre and post sales answering all my queries, and offering competitive prices.

Wow! Apart from the competitive pricing Centrecom offers, the staff was by far the best experience. I was supported by a fellow named Aseem. He was extremely knowledgeable and easily assisted me with all my purchases. My PC build turned out great btw!

Grabbed a monitor that had a few dead pixels. The staff were great and sorted me out with a replacement no worries!

Great helpful staff, the prices are very fair and competitive even meeting international online sellers. But the benefit of shopping here is easy returns if you have any issues and staff who know what they are taking about and can help you though your questions.

I had put aside an order last week for a CPU from a friendly male staff member with a reasonable discount. I called this morning to add an SSD to the order and the lady that answered spoke so quickly to me that I could barely understand. When I picked up the order later on, the same lady served me and didn't honour the discount quoted in my order. Quite disappointed.

Poor customer service. I had to get a cable and the lady opened the box to tested it for me and she told me I can take it home and test it. The cable wasn’t suitable for me and went back to refund. Then the gentlemen that served me told me that that was restocking fee of 25%. I told him that the lady was the one that told me I can bring it back but he was rude and would not allow it. He charged me 25% for a product that was brand new and a bought a few days ago. Please be aware!

I had the same issue as Daniel Tai below. I was told if there was an issue bring it back and they would sort it out, not mentioning the 25% restocking fee. This fee doesn’t reflect Centrecoms out of pockets for restocking the item. Will be calling the ACCC to discuss this matter and your credit card surcharges as I have reason to believe your surcharges are ‘excessive’ within the meaning of the Competition and Consumer Amendment (Payment Surcharges) Act 2016.

Pretty average service. Went in to pick up some parts, girl who served me was uninterested in being there, dismissive of my questions and uninterested in helping me. I don't recommend this place.
