Centre Com Nunawading reviews
83 If you are looking for a local "computer part and repair" store in Whitehorse. I'd recommend going here. They have a vast selection of parts, frequent sales and really helpful staff.
Coming here from now on!
Thank you Terry for the fantastic service and the quick response to warranty issues. Commended for the effert.on behalf of client M.many thanks.
Customer service from Fergus was outstanding. I flooded hi with questions, requests and he was superb in that manner that he dealt with them, he went above and beyond that and most importantly knew what he was doing and go the job done. Gun.
Great service and huge shoutout to "Fergus" for going above and beyond with his support and service!
Thank you Terry for helping out in building the custom PC. Very friendly customer service. I highly recommend anyone who is willing to buy or built the PC.
Went to store just to check out laptops, didnt expect there was such a decent deal over there. Appreciate Fergus the tall and handsome helped me find a 12th gen i7/3060 with great price. Cheers
Purchased a laptop via click and collect with some upgrades I was intending to install myself. Asha mentioned the warranty would be void (which I was aware) and organised for the upgrades to be installed on the stop. I have dealt with him numerous times in the past 12 months and his always great to deal with.
Went to Centre Com to buy a computer for school. Staff member Terence was extremely helpful, easily found a laptop that had all the specific features I needed for school at a the price point I wanted. Thanks!
Used to be a great store before they moved. I've have bought & built a system plus many parts from the old location.
Since moving I have called a few times (I live 35 mins from the store) to ask about warranty claims on parts & for general enquiries (I ended up driving an extra hr to the Mulgrave store to have the warranty claim dealt with, due to Nunawadings inaction/inability/didn't return phone calls/service counter people were clueless to help me) on parts.
I have since been into the store a couple times (I now drive into Richmond for parts & warranty as they're fantastic & helpful) & I couldn't figure out who were staff (barely any staff to help with very few customers anyway) & who were customers due to lack of uniform visibility. Plus the store looks stark & uninviting & parts are hard to find as the overhead signage doesn't match the products below. What was a great store has seriously lost its way & if it wasn't for Richmond I would've ceased shopping with Centrecom. 1.5 stars out of 5. Used to be 4.5 out of 5.
After a poor start, the team at Nunwarding managed to turn it around to assist me with my requests, Terry from sales and Jeff from Technical team did a fantastic job.
Super helpful. I bought a SSD for my laptop. Should have been a M. 2 SATA, they gave me M. 2 NvME. I kept wondering why my Laptop’s BIOS wouldn’t see the drive. Once we worked out the problem, young Terence said he’d talk to the boss. Centre Com agreed to waive the restocking fee. Unfortunately they didn’t have a suitable alternative so I got a full refund. The team there is super helpful and in this case empathetic to my situation. They have won me over from MSY. I am now a loyal Centre Com customer for life.
Bought a gpu online and it wasn’t working under load. Jeff at warranty desk helped me test (he was v efficient). They offered me a refund which was processed within a couple of days. Despite bad experience with gpu dying and i found the staff here to be helpful and provided good customer service. Gives me confidence to deal with Centrecom over warranty issues in the future.
Love the price and product range here. I had no issues with the staffs, they were very helpful with my queries. Will be back for sure.
Staff member gave me a discount on price to match online price - in store price was higher.
Maybe be a little short staffed during the busy Xmas season.
Good experience overall! Great store that is well stocked. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me out with choosing the right laptop for me. I am very happy with my purchase. Will definitely shop there again.:)
The customer service was soooo bad and rude, I’m the first customer in the store, asking about the delivery options due to the lockdown. I show an asian guy the laptop that I want and the first thing that he said is, that laptop is not from our store. Dude that’s why I’m here to ask you guys and your haven’t check it yet how do you know that’s not from your store.if that laptop is not from your store I won’t come here anymore! OMG after that I shown him the laptop is from theirs store, he still with a bad attitude and talking like a boss is the store. And ask me to go outside check from their website and they want to service another customer. What? Im your first customer and you haven’t give me the answer that I want or finishing the service before you service another customer? That centre com in Nunawading is the worse customer service that ever had.
Gave my brand new processor to be checked as I was facing reboot issues. When I received it back I noticed that were scratches on the lid. I raised a complaint with them and they obviously found no wrong doing on their part. Hopefully this does not cause issues with manufacturer warranty.
Pretty average honestly. The click and collect email wasn't very discreptive of where and how to collect your items. Tried calling but put me in a queue which was fine. I was only second I. Line and then it forced to make a call back and it hung up. After finally getting to the front door in the rain and collected my items, they'd wrapped them in security/packing tape with the receipt taped on as well!? To try and pry the items apart was bad enough, but getting the receipt off in one piece was impossible and I'm the type of person who likes to keep the item boxes intact but now they're ruined as well. Just hope the receipt is intact enough to be able to claim it back as the items are for work.
Please remove the signage "enquiry" at the rear service desk. The assistant there told me this is for warranty only - how stupid the signage looks.
Had a great time buying all the parts for my new system. Had a lot to buy, but the person that I had helping me (Terry, much love) was very patient with me and got me everything I wanted and needed.
